This V.748D (C/N 101) was built for CAA as VP-YND and first flew on Thursday, 14 June 1956. It was the first Viscount to visit Vnukovo, Moscow, USSR on 29 June 1956 and was sent to collect the British Industry delegation who had attended the Soviet Aviation day celebrations. R M A Mweru was passed on to Air Rhodesia when CAA was disolved in 1965. It was shot down by a 'Strella' heat seeking surface to air (SAM) missile after take off from Kariba, Rhodesia 12 February 1979. File Description:
CAA purchased their first Vickers Viscount 748D on 25th April 1956. A further four were delivered in the same year. The aircraft came equipped with external slipper tanks for long-range operations. In 1957 the Viscounts took over the international service to Europe from Vickers Vikings. All the Viscounts except VP-YNE passed on to Air Rhodesia when Central African Airways was disolved in 1965. This V.748D (C/N 99) was built for CAA as VP-YNB and first flew on Saturday, 5 May 1956 at Hurn, Bournemouth, Dorset, England powered by Rolls-Royce Dart 510 engines. | California Central Coast Scenery with Ultimate Terrain USA |

File Description:
This is a complete revision to California Central Coast Scenery CCCOASTU.ZIP that was uploaded 9/13/05. This revision involves most of the files and replaces CCCOASTU.ZIP in it's entirety so the original version of CCCOASTU and it's Revisions 1 and 2 or any other versions of my CCC scenery are NOT required.
The primary goal for this revision was to replace as many API objects and effects as possible with XML/MDL library objects. The original intent for making these conversions was to begin to prepare for the FSX version of CCC scenery if that becomes practical. Because I also made several improvements and fixes during that process and because performance was improved due to use of object libraries I realized it might be appropriate to upload the results as a revision.

This is a repaint of the excellent TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) Boeing 737-800SF model, in Central Airlines livery, B-222P. Texture only. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson, with assistance from David Biggar. Master textures and paint kit by Kyle Schurb. Delivered on the 9th December 1946 the Central African Airways Dove was the first aircraft of its type to be used on airline service anywhere in the world. c/n 04006 was purchased by CAA in 1947 and named "Lourie". It was used on the Salisbury-Bulawayo and Salisbury-Blantyre-Lilongwe-Fort Jameson routes and later put on the bush routes of Nyasaland (Malawi) and Barotseland (western Zambia). Textures only. You will require Derek Palmer's DH.104 model (DH104V2.ZIP).
