Alaska Airlines is the primary sponsor of the Portland Timbers soccer team. The Alaska name is featured on the team's soccer jerseys, and the airline introduced a Timbers-themed Boeing 737-700 in 2011 through a fan-submitted "paint the plane" contest. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson, with assistance from David Biggar. Master textures and paint kit by Kyle Schurb. Painted on the great TDS model. Enjoy!

In November 2013 Alaska released its fifth Disney themed airplane, named Adventure of Disneyland Resort and featuring characters from the Disney-Pixar film Cars. This was also part of a larger promotion for a new Disneyland attraction "Cars Land." The 737-800 is the workhorse of the Alaska Airlines fleet, with over 60 aircraft alongside numerous other 737s. Some of these aircraft are ETOPS certified for flights to Hawaii, denoted by the Hawaiian lei worn by the eskimo on the tail. This package contains both the regular livery and the lei ETOPS livery.
