DBWsim proudly presents Beale AFB 2005, a scenery pack that greatly redevelops Beale AFB in northern California. Beale AFB is renowned as the operations base of the USAF’s long range reconnaissance squadrons, most famously operating U2 and SR-71 aircraft. This scenery includes a major improvement to all facets of the airbase, including buildings and AFD designed from satellite images. A local land-class is also included, producing a more realistic environment around the Airfield.

Included are scenery for both camps, FS9 tested flight plans as well as FS9 and FSX repaints for the UH-60s of the US Army Task Force Sinai 1st Support Battalion using John Youngs AI UH-60. This is a light scenery of UGGT Erekle II "Mimino" Airport in Telavi, Kakheti Province, Republic of Georgia. It is basically the FSX/P3D UGGT Telavi scenery by Georgian Virtual Airports/David Hilker, converted and modified for MSFS2004 aka FS9 by me with the author's permission. See included readme file for more information. This new version includes a fix for some users who experienced doubled runways and/or artefacts at the runway.

Modern scenery of Beja Air Base in Portugal. The base, originally designed for use by the German Luftwaffe in 1964, now trains pilots for the Portuguese Air Force using Socata TB-30 Epsilon and Alpha Jets. Lockheed P-3 Orions form 601 Sqn in the maritime role and Alouette III's of 552 Sqn perform various transport, training and SAR duties.

File Description:
Castle Teck in southern Germany near Stuttgart is an important landmark of the region and a quite nice one. It was founded 1150 and is now a ruin with some new buildings in medieval style. It is in the vicinty of Hahnweide Airfield famous for model- and sailplane championships and an vintage aircraft meeting. The scenery features seasonal textures, a smoking chimney (Oct.to March), ridge lift and flying buzzards as dynamic scenery. Happy flying!
