The C-17 Globemaster III/ER is a heavy cargo aircraft used by several foreign militaries, but primarily the U.S. Air Force. She is designed to do many things that other cargo aircraft cannot, based on her unique design. This version incorporates the extended range fuel tanks. The real world aircraft can actually use reverse thrust in flight, up to 100% reverse power, during descents or on the ground. It is also the only heavy aircraft in the world with a wing efficiency factor over 1.0, which is theoretically impossible, but true. All of the dynamics in this model are correct down to the inch, so she does almost everything the real aircraft does. Some things are not possible in FSX, including reverse thrust while in flight, but full flaps/slats employed in a steep descent will adequately simulate this effect without damage to the model while in flight. The landing gear are authentic and capable of heavy loads. The weight and balance is authentic. The fuel tanks are authentic. The aircraft name, tail number, location, and callsign are authentic. The calculated range(s) listed are all authentic, understanding that most public data released is based on average range, at average altitude, and normal payload missions. The sound is authentic. The engine dynamics are authentic. The panel used is the best I could find, is fairly authentic, and requires some pre-flight study before flight. All-in-All the aircraft is very simple to fly, but requires some study to operate correctly, so I recommend all simmers watch as many "You Tube" videos, read as many authentic sites, and study as much as possible about this aircraft before operation. Qantas is requesting proposals (Dec 2018) for design of an aircraft model or variation that is capable of non-stop flights over 10,000 nm for YSSY to EGLL and/or YPPH to KDFW and return service routes. This model is the best choice for Boeing based on real world data. The Boeing 787-8XLR "Dreamcruiser" will have a maximum range of 13,600 nm at FL450E (Mach .83) which will give her more than the desired capabilities, and will be the very efficient. This model (B788XLR) is based on the current 787-8 using weight modifications to increase the range without adding additional fuel tanks, and designed for luxury/comfort with only 161 paid passengers on board. Everything in this model is realistic to the best of my abilities. If Boeing creates this model, it will likely be very similar to this. The name is my own invention, as are all of the weight characteristics. Based on all of my extensive testing, there is no other aircraft capable of these requirements, to date. The 787-800 is certainly the right choice for Qantas if Boeing decides they will modify the original model to fit these requirements. In reality, there is no such aircraft as a 787-8XLR Dreamcruiser. Not yet, anyway. My data shows the aircraft is capable of long-range non-stop flights over 13,000 nm east or west at Mach .82 and above FL435. However, this can only be done by lowering the empty weight and using the full fuel capabilities designed within the original model. This simple modification cuts the total souls on board down to 176, with 161 paid passengers, 11 flight attendants, and 4 pilots in two shifts. Full fuel can now be used in all long-range flights which is actually not common for most 787-800s in service today (Fuel Managed). Ramp and MTOW remain the same, but because she flies higher than normal, and has less weight, she can cruise much further than any other 787. In reality, this is what the 787 was originally designed to do.

One of the faster airplane of WWI thanks to an innovative design, the S.V.A. was the first airplane conceived and built entirely in Italy. The initials "S.V.A." stand for the names of Savoia and Verduzio, the two engineers that designed it, and of Ansaldo, the firm that built over 2000 of them starting from 1917. The Ansaldo S.V.A. was an entire family of Italian reconnaissance biplane aircraft of World War I and the decade after. Originally conceived as a fighter, the S.V.A. was found inadequate for that role. Nevertheless, its impressive speed, range and operational ceiling made it an excellent reconnaissance aircraft and even light bomber.
The S.V.A. became legendary among pilots for some of its memorable flights; first, above all, the one over Vienna: this flight was an epic action performed by Italian poet and nationalist patriot Gabriele D'Annunzio on 9th August 1918. After the war, thanks to the strong determination of Arturo Ferrarin and Guido Masiero( the pilots), two S.V.A.9s (the two seater version of the S.V.A.-5) flew for 18000Km from Rome to Tokyo (14th February / 31st May 1920). Another S.V.A., piloted by Antonio Locatelli, first flew alone across the Andes (30th July 1919).
Production of the aircraft continued well after the war, with the final examples delivered in 1928. In 1919 some S.V.A.s were used in airmail routes by "Gruppo Sperimentale Comunicazioni Aeree", a group formed by the Italian Army in order to prove the feasibility of commercial air services. The Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force, since 1923) employed the S.V.A. in operational units in Italy and North Africa (Lybia) as well as for pilot training. Many war-surplus planes were employed by commercial flying schools.
Complete aircraft, 5 Different Hi-Res GMax models (5 different versions, three S.V.A.-5 and two S.V.A.-9), features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls. This airport was made using Airport Design Editor, Google Sketchup, and Instant Scenery 2. Albany International Airport, Is an airport located near Albany, New York. The airport has scheduled airline flights. Almost all of the buildings are custom made with photo textures to make it closer to real life. At the main terminal, I added more gates and put moving jetways. The gates have assigned parking codes. There is a parking lot next to the terminal full of cars. I put the airport access road in between the parking lot and the terminal. At the southwest ramp, I put hangars and some you can taxi inside of. If you choose to start off from the southwest DOCK gate, You will start off inside the Million Air Aviation FBO. I also put static aircraft on the ramp too. To the northwest, I put the New York Police hangar. You can start off inside this hangar by choosing the Northwest DOCK gate. Taxiing into or starting off inside a hangar will not cause a crash unless you touch the sides. To the Northeast, I put the cargo terminal with trucks. At the cargo section, I put three FedEx Cessna Caravans. I also put the control tower and the buildings. Tower views are from the roof of the control tower. To the southeast, I put small hangars and the Air National Guard Section with UH-60 helicopters. I extended runway 1/19 to the correct length of 8,500 feet. I also put red, blue, green, and purple Cessna 172s in different places around the airport. There will be more objects if your scenery complexity is set to normal (such as jetways, aircraft, and vehicles). This was all made based on Google Earth Imagery and Bing Maps. There are no night textures for the buildings. This will be added in a future version. An installer program is included to install the airport for you. There will be more versions of this that include night textures and static business jets. This is for Flight Simulator X only. By Tyler Lawrence.

The panel has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP1 or SP2. It has also been tested with Microsoft Acceleration, but compatibility is not guaranteed by the author.
This panel has been designed according to a large number of technical documents, descriptions, and pictures out of the Internet. The design goal was to develop a panel and gauges as close as possible to the original aircraft. It was, however by far not possible to programming all the functions and displays, because of the complexity of the real Eurofighter panel, and also because of limitations in FSX.
However, I believe, that the panel with the MFD screen displays gives a good impression on how the real Eurofighter cockpit looks inside.The aircraft model, development by ALPHA/VIRTAVIA, has been used as the base for this panel development. The aim was to go with one model version only , the two seater air to air model. A number of parameter of the aircraft.cfg have been modified to achieve a best possible result of the flight dynamics for the model. It is up to the user to use any other model as this one, and use this panel for it.
For this package, panel and model, I decided to call it the X -Version which shall be seen as an experimental military test version, or if you like, a " Proof of Concept " version. So, you will see a neutral paint with just the Typhoon letters on the aircraft tail. This approach allows to go with deviations and differences to the current technical implementations for the cockpit displays and functions for the Eurofighter.
The panel includes gauges for the afterburner effects, sonic sound effect, callout sounds, weapon explosions effects, and a full functioning TCAS gauge (A future requirement for the Eurofighter), A2A fuel functions, target radar tracking functions and more. The panel has been developed for widescreen monitors only. No VC panel is part of this package.
This is not a load and fly package. Please take your time to read the included panel documentation carefully. Do not skip chapters because you may think, they are not important for you.

As you might have been aware off, we are currently designing the overall systems and avionics of the upcoming Flight1’s Piper Meridian. This extraordinary aircraft features an advanced cockpit panel, with Glass Cockpit Meggitt Avionics EADI, EHSI and EDU, coupled with a state of the art S-TEC Autopilot System and a full featured Garmin Radio Stack and Navigation System. Rest assured that our rendition of the Meridian avionics far above the standards of the Flight Line Avionics depth and accuracy, and even more!
To let you prefigure what our unique technology brings to the overall simulated experience, we have especially designed this 737 ADI Demo to showcase a small fraction of the overall design techniques and tools we have built: True Display XP.
True Display XP is meant to provide enough visual cues and precision, while not sacrificing the accuracy at any resolution. This is achieved with both a high refresh rate and a highly sophisticated rendering engine, while virtually having no impact to the FS2002 Frame Rate. With this technology in any aircraft product, you’ll be able to precisely hand fly any ILS approach to a level of precision you’ve never been used to with any other FS2002 add-on. Seeing is believing!
Unlike the other “vector gauges”, our unique technology not only resembles and feels like a real CRT/LCD, but is more elaborate than an Anti Aliasing Line Drawing system. This prevent any “jitter” in effectively rendering all the display at a sub pixel resolution.

Golovin is a coastal fishing village 70 miles east of Nome and around 20 miles west of Elim, with a population of under 200. The village is a check point on the Iditarod race and the name originates from a Russian admiral in the far distant past. The airfield has a gravel runway which is over 4,000 feet long; the older runway amid the village housing is still visible but not usable. The majority of flights to and from the airfield originate in Nome, but there are also others to and from nearby fields such as Elim, Unalakleet, Shaktoolik, and Koyuk. The AI includes a daily ERA flight. Most flights to villages of this size are in fact not "scheduled", but are "air taxi" being used by three or four villagers to go supermarket shopping in a larger neighbouring town, which in this case is Nome. In many cases the numbers of flights to and from a village in a year average out to one a day. There is a further scenery included here, which is Solomon AK26. Solomon is around 40 miles west of Golovin and from 1898 was suppporting a gold mining operation on the Fish and Niukluk rivers further inland at Council. Solomon, and the airfield which obviously came later, gradually faded from use in competition with Nome, leaving almost nothing behind at Solomon by the 1980's except a gravel runway and the nearby Solomon roadhouse. There are other buildings near the airfield which appear to be new and in good condition, but their function is unknown to me. The Solomon terrain modifications and grass deletion bgl's did not function until loaded in a "Top" folder; this is unusual, and may be required only in my FS9 setup or in all situations. I have no way of knowing as I can only design for my situation. A note here about my scenery making. This is post number 503 and there will not be many more to follow this as I am almost at the end of the photos I either took or found for scenery purposes. There is a limit to what can be located online and I have already been making use of the little there is; eg Unalakleet. Post 520 is unlikely. So, if you are near an airport (preferably Canadian or Alaskan) and have a camera..... Let me know.

The Machine:
A fully aerobatic, very-light Jet that compares to the Bede BD-5J, but heavier and sporting two instead of one TRS-18 turbojets. Up to Mach 0.47 and 650 NM of range, with a service ceiling of 25000ft. A low stall speed (for a jet) makes the aircraft good for short field operations.
Certified for VFR operations only, yet includes a good avionics suite.
This is a "Classic" aircraft featuring "Steam" gauges and radios. Yet, controls and systems are easy to operate.
The History:
The C-22J is the last aircraft to be adorned with the legendary Caproni name. Originally known as "Caproncino", then marketed as "Ventura". A very-light jet developed in the 1980s as a military trainer, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft. Powered by two TRS-18 turbojets fed from a dorsal NACA intake, the aircraft reached Mach 0.47 and was fully aerobatic. The airframe shows its origin in a glider design, the Caproni A-21 Calif. After the merger with SIAI Marchetti, the project was cancelled in favor of the SF-260.
The Simulation - 3D Model:
This aircraft ships with a 3-D cockpit, that incorporates realistic night lighting, in the form of a dim dome flood light, backlit gauges and luminous digital displays. The flight crew of 2 is affected by your input in the payloads menu of Flight Simulator, allowing to choose between male, female or empty seats. The Copilot Figure can be hidden with a quick click in the internal 3D view as well.
The Simulation - Realism:
This aircraft has been tuned with the invaluable help of Engineer Carlo Ferrarin, who created the real aircraft. Unique and one-off documentation has been kindly provided, and used extensively, for the creation of this product!
Just like the real aircraft, the systems are simple and of easy operation. Engines can be started with the press of a button. Systems modelling allows the following of real-world checklists as closely as Flight Simulator allows. An in-sim checklist is included, as well as a full flight manual.
The flight model is tuned with advanced aerospace techniques, resulting in a highly realistic aircraft, yet, it is very pleasant to fly, both during aerobatic displays or "A to B" cruising.

This project was begun to add the new airport (FHSH) to St. Helena Island and eventually was expanded to include a complete remake of Ascension Island (FHAW) and Tristan da Cunha (with an optional airport FHTC) and Gough Island with the actual weather station heliport (FHGH). Tested in both the default FSX/Acceleration and with FTX Global/Vector, accurate coastlines, lakes, road data, and SRTMGL1 (30m) mesh, as well as corrected landclass are provided based on the latest available satellite imagery. Flight plans are provided for the proposed commercial service to St. Helena, and some additional GA and military flights to the island are added as well.
The FSX St. Helena (FHSH) airport was created by aligning master plans for the airport with current satellite data and by studying many of the pictures that have been posted as the airport has taken shape. The official opening of the real airport on May 21, 2016, has been pushed back for more field tests due to challenging crosswinds. The Ascension Island (FHAW) airport was updated after I realized that Ascension could receive commercial service as a result of the new St. Helena airport. The entire airfield is redesigned to allow the volcanic terrain to display properly. The airbase, towns, BBC Atlantic relay station, and numerous satellite dishes, radomes, and wind turbines now appear in their real-world locations. Since I was already in the region, I added the Tristan da Cunha Islands (including Inaccessible, Nightingale and Gough Islands) and the Gough Island weather station maintained by the South African National Antarctic Programme. I also added an optional airport (and flight plans) to Tristan da Cunha (FHTC), which can be easily enabled/disabled. The FHTC airport is placed on the only part of the island that appears to be free of people or farmland, and the area is just long enough to accommodate a pared-down version of the St. Helena airport.
Updates were created or rebuilt in a manner which carefully aligns airport data with current satellite imagery. Scenery was created using Airport Design Editor X v1.67.5684, SBuilderX 3.13, and the FSX Object Placement Tool. Scenery objects were added and modified from stock FSX scenery to resemble as closely as possible the actual airports. The animated flag model is by Dietmar Loleit, the FSX apron lights included are from the set created by Jim Dhaenens, and the animated wind turbines and radomes are from the freeware package by Ray Porter.

The B-2A Stealth Bomber is the most sophisticated aircraft on the planet. She is essentially a “Flying Wing†platform with no V-Tail, and is controlled by pre-programed flight computers stationed in various positions within the crew cabin and wings. There is one main computer that controls the aircraft, with two redundant back-up computers assigned to it in case of failure. All additional computers are assigned to functions involving flight control, system monitoring, data communications, and radar. Engine and Aerodynamic effects are controlled by these computers which serve several actuators and ailerons, including the spoilerons, which further compensate for the lack of a V-Tail. In theory, and because of these computers, the aircraft is “Stall-Proofâ€. The only way it can stall is if the computers fail. There is no way she can be flown without the computers active. The REAL aircraft does almost everything based on pre-programed data, other than taxi to the runway (although this is also possible to program). Before each flight, the Mission is designed and then assigned to the Mission Flight Box (Portable Computer) which is then carried by the Commander to the aircraft, and the data from the box is “transferred†to the main on-board computers. Because of this, the B-2 cannot be flown until the box is ready for the mission, and pilots cannot simply jump in and fly her, with the exception that the data is transferred via satellite. Everything is pre-planned, and this takes several hours. Once the data is on-board, the taxi can begin. When lined-up on the runway, all the pilot needs to do is push a button or three. Everything else is computer controlled until landing. The aircraft CAN be flown manually with basic data inputs into the main computer systems, but even in that case it is not conventional. If a pilot wants to turn right, he sets the data to turn to a certain degrees of heading. The same with climb and descent, speed increase or decrease. A pilot cannot over-ride the computers in any case, so steep banks, climbs, or descents cannot be forced. There is a lot of space for the two member crew within the cockpit, but there is also a space reserved for one observer. This additional seat is known as “Suicide Position†because there is no ejection seat for that observer. In the event of a mishap, the observer can try to bail-out through the ejection hatches after the pilots, or can try the exit ramp door, or the bomb bay as an exit route. The odds of escape for the observer are very small, but he has a parachute as reassurance. Otherwise, what the crew does during missions is only a guess, since they really don't have to do anything unless an alarm goes off. Since the plane flies so smooth, we can only imagine what sort of things they may dream-up to entertain themselves during a long flight. High altitude flights are conducted at night mainly due to the obvious contrail such a flight will exhibit during the day with such hot engines. The engines are encased in a heat absorbing shield material (still exhaust exists), and the rest of the plane is coated with Radar absorbant material, with the additional low profile effect of the aircraft design itself. If it can be seen by the ground or a fighter, it can be attacked by fighters or the ground. During daytime flight they will stay below the contrail level, and monitor the radar systems in preparations for counter-measures. If a fighter can visually observe them, the fighter may be able to shoot them down with bullets from behind, but not likely with missiles because of the sophisticated counter-measures available. On Radar the aircraft appears the size of a pigeon, until about 8 to 10 miles away, which would be too late to counter from the ground, so most attacks are either done at night or during the day at very low altitude. Upon landing the aircraft is automated down to about 200 feet AGL, when the pilot takes command. All she/he does at this point is allow her to glide down and contact the runway, and retard the engines. Brakes are used to slow, then the computers are turned off, and the pilot can control the throttles, nose gear, and brakes. The Commander watches for obstructions, mainly, and communicates with the tower and ground crew. Everything in this model has been reconfigured to meet realistic standards, without any tricks or flight tuning, and following real world aerodynamic principals and available data, including MOI. The panel requires study before use, but very realistic. The sounds are very authentic. There is no other model offered anywhere that compares to what you have now available in front of you. Please read and study the Readme.txt file within the main folder before attempting to fly this 2.2 Billion Dollar aircraft. Yes, that's correct ... $2,200,000,000 each!
