Images related to this file:
File Description:
This archive only contains textures for the Carenado C208B GRAND CARAVAN V2 aircraft. In order for it to work, you need to own this specific aircraft. Since these are only textures, no further support is necessary, just follow the instructions below. If for some reason you don't like these textures, just delete the folder.
Installation
Open the zip file and move the whole folder Balesin Island Club to X-Plane 10 (where you installed X-Plane)--->Aircraft-->Carenado C208B GRAND CARAVAN V2 (where you installed the Carenado package)--->liveries. That's it!
A note on the Cessna C208B GRAND CARAVAN
The prototype first flew in December 1982. The production model was certified by the FAA in October 1984. Since then, the Caravan has undergone a number of design evolutions. Working with FedEx, Cessna produced first the Cargomaster, and followed that with the stretched and upgraded Super Cargomaster. The passenger model, the Grand Caravan, was derived from the Super Cargomaster. In January 2013 a higher-powered (867 shp from P&WC PT6A-140) version, the Grand Caravan EX, received FAA certification.[2] This higher-powered version will be produced by a Cessna-AVIC joint venture in China. Information taken from Wikipedia.org.
File information
The textures herein are made from the Carenado blanks. I have made every attempt to faithfully reproduce the Alphaland Balesin Island Club Caravan to the best of my abilities. The Balesin Island Club is a resort in the philippines operated by Alphaland Corporation. They use two Cessna C208B GRAND CARAVANS to ferry clients from Manila to the island resort.

MRLB - Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport / Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I found that most stock airports in FSX lack a decent amount of character and realism and I've tried to fix that a little bit. The stock airport file for the Liberia airport was sub par to say the least. There were absolutely no parking spots for commercial aircraft and no terminal buildings.
I've done major reworking to this airport and added the brand new terminal, which opened several months ago, I hope you enjoy. Below is a list of changes/additions. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in Costa Rica!
Features:
*Greatly expanded parking apron
*Old terminal building added with GA parking area
*Brand new terminal building added with its 4 jetways and 3 additional ramp parking spots
*Parking lots with static vehicles
*Small current construction area
*Road that connects the airport to the main highway w/ static vehicles
*Hilton Garden Inn hotel south of runway 25
*Static vehicles and GA aircraft on the ramp
*Fire station
*Birds in the vicinity of the airport

| Honduras Islands v3 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Version 3 includes all previous patches and updates. This version also restructures the file system to be fully compatible with the ORBX "FTX Global openLC North America" product as well as adding functionality for default FSX users. Additionally, water class scenery is updated to appear more realistic, MHRO is updated to reflect the newly expanded apron, and SRTMGL1 (30m) mesh is included. All landclass polygons and coastlines were meticulously hand-drawn directly from satellite imagery to provide the most detailed and accurate scenery available for this region.
This project rebuilds the islands of Roatán, Barbareta, Guanaja, and Utila, and adds Cayos Cochinos and the numerous cays associated with the "Islas de la Bahia" (Islands of the Bay). Roatán (MHRO), Guanaja (GJAJ/MHNJ) and Puerto Lempira (MHPL) are completely overhauled and positioning is corrected. New and fully functioning AI airports are added for Utila (MHUT), Fort Cay (MHFC) and Cochino Pequeño (MHCP) of the Cayos Cochinos chain, and La Ceiba (MHLC) is modified to accommodate more AI traffic. Accurate coastlines, lakes, road and river data, as well as corrected landclass are provided based on the latest available satellite imagery. GA flight plans are provided to add or enhance service to the smaller islands. Updates were created or rebuilt in a manner which carefully aligned airport data with current satellite imagery, when available. Scenery was created using Airport Design Editor X v1.70.6042, SBuilderX 3.13, and the FSX Object Placement Tool. Scenery objects were added and modified from stock FSX scenery to resemble as closely as possible the actual airports.

| VVCR Cam Ranh Airport |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Cam Ranh is currently a fast-growing beauty spot and tourist area on the Vietnamese coast. In May 2004, Cam Ranh airport (VVCR) opened to commercial traffic, initially only serving domestic traffic but international flights will commence in 2005. The airport was once a massive US Air Force base, but was later used as a base for Russion spy plane activities.
This scenery adds this "missing" airport to Flight Simulator, but much is based around satellite views of the airport when the US were spying on the Russian base and other historical information and it may not accurately reflect the airport as it is today. Furthermore, my capabilities at scenery design are limited and restricted to scenery objects available through the Rwy12 scenery creation programme.
You do NOT need to download and install the full 45 MB Rwy 12 Object Placer programme, which is for the designers and not the end user.
Some of the scenery objects will appear without any extra downloads, but to get the greatest benefit from this scenery, you may optionally download following files, which should be installed according to the instructions within this download and not as described in their own download archive:
Level 2 objects
rwy12-lvl2.zip (Israel Roth and Seev Kahn/John Hinson),
Level 3 objects
jw_rwy12.zip (Shehryar Ansari),
tl_rwy12.zip (Todd Lucas) ,
ford_transit_collection.zip (S Legg),
hgrrwy12.zip (ESDG), and
ga-hangers_lib_for_rwy12.zip (S Legg)
Also included with this scenery are two EditVoicepack files which may be imported to that programme so that the controllers will be heard referring to "Cam Ranh".

| English Electric Lightning for AI traffic - The Frightening Part 1 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
English Electric Lightning for AI traffic - The Frightening Part 1. This aircraft is one of the iconic military aircraft of the Cold War era, charged with home defense of the United Kingdom, as well as duties abroad, throught the 1960s - early 1980s. The Lightning served admirably in that role, was exported to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait; and also saw limted combat service in the Arabian penninsular region. After thirteen years of painting, and eight years of abortive attempts to discover the true mysteries of aircraft design, this is my first from-scratch original aircraft to make it to upload. There is a lot of Nick Black influence (and pilot figure) in this model, but the rest of the physical model is all mine, good or bad. This is an 8-LOD model, with all sorts of eye candy listed in the documentation. The painting comes from an age when gaudy heraldic liveries were quite acceptable on tactical aircraft, so this is a painter's dream as well. My intent was to make a very comprehensive offering with a lot of options (and paints), so to that end I am breaking this up into three manageable parts so it won't be a 70MB download. This is part 1, encompassing the F.1, F.1A, F.2, F.3, and F.3A variants; collectively containing 25 model options and 30 paints. Please take some time to read the extensive doucmentation, there are numerous credits and instructions regarding this model. Base models, paint kits, and release repaints by Michael Pearson, inspiration by Nick Black, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre, and relentless technical expertise from Steve Holland.

| "Janet Airways" Boeing 737-600 BBJ-ER |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
A highly classified small fleet of passenger aircraft known as "Janet" is operated for the United States Air Force to transport military and contractor employees. It mainly serves the Nevada National Security Site (most notably Area 51 (AR51) and Tonopah Test Range (TNX), from their terminal at Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport (KLAS). The planes are also used to fly to/from Air Force Plant 42 (KPMD), Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake (KNID), Hill Air Force Base (KHIF), and Edwards Air Force Base (KEDW). I encourage you to locate, download, and install the AFCAD files or scenery add-ons associated to these airports from any source you desire, but make sure they are designed for FSX. The fleet's "Janet" call sign, from which its de facto name comes, is said to stand for "Just Another Non-Existent Terminal", or more likely "Joint Air Network". Everything is realistic in this model, now, and most simmers know how inaccurate the original FSX 737-800 was. However, this aircraft simulates the accuracy of a 737-600 BBJ-ER, if there ever was one built. I modified everything to fit that aspect, except for the visual model. The engine characteristics are correct as well as all weight/balance and MOI. I even fixed the wheels to be accurate in base, track and pressure size. Everything I've done here is for educational purposes without any expectation of any monetary gain, and offered publicly for free. Read the Readme.txt file for installation and details. All persons involved with this and the original design are credited, unless they are unknown and have offered no credit details. | Alaska Airlines "HONORING THOSE WHO SERVE" livery Operated by Horizon Air E175LR (N651QX) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
I am proud to present this very special Alaska Airlines Embraer E175LR, operated by Horizon Air, registration N651QX. This E175LR is the third "Honoring Those Who Serve" aircraft in the Alaska Airlines fleet which pays tribute to US military members, veterans, fallen soldiers and their families. Its unique exterior paint scheme, conceived by a small group of Alaska maintenance technicians, was designed to honor those who serve today, and those who served in the past. The design includes; A red stripe and blue aircraft body to incorporate elements of the American flag, the phrase "Honoring Those Who Serve," displayed on the fuselage, symbolic crests representing the Alaska Airlines Fallen Soldier Program on the starboard side rear cargo door and on the port side of the aircraft behind the aft service door, a "Horizon Air Salutes" medallion near the nose of the aircraft on both sides with the five stars, winglets in red, white and blue representing the flag of the United States and five gold stripes on the engine cowls representing the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. There is also a Sidney Sheldon quote next to the forward passenger entry door reading “My heroes are those that risk their lives to protect the world and make it a better place.â€
The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. All of the medallions are hand painted. This is the Version 3 model of the FeelThere Embraer 175. You must own a copy of the Feelthere E-JETS E175 and E195 V3 to enjoy this repaint.
A special thank you to all who serve, who have served and to those who gave their lives in service to this country.
