KCLT Charlotte Douglas International Airport Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
In 2008 runway 18R/36L at KCLT was renamed 18C/36C in anticipation of a third parallel under construction. The new runway was to be designated 18R/36L and was finally activated on January 6, 2010. This scenery adds that new runway to the default Charlotte Douglas International Airport (KCLT). This is a complete rebuild of my previous upload, KCLT2010 (not required) that inadvertently removed approximately 30 airports in the Charlotte area, including Fayetteville and Spartanburg. It also includes Terminal E, which was added in 2002, but never made it into the default FS2004 scenery. I used Airport Design Editor (ADE9x) to modify the default FS2004 KCLT file, renaming the default 18R/36L to 18C/36C, create the new taxiways, taxi signs, NavAids, 18R-36L runway, and Terminal E. I used Abacus EZ-Scenery to add jetways, gate markings, and ramp lights. All files, libraries, and textures are either default or included. No additional downloads are required. AI Aircraft were acting normally on my system. I sat at Taxiway W2 for the new Runway 18R/36L and watched AI Aircraft land and take off from it after creating this scenery.

Iqaluit CYFB 2010 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Founded in 1942 as an American airbase, Iqaluit is now the capital city of the northern Canadian province of Nunavut. It is the smallest Canadian capital in terms of population and the only capital that is not connected to other settlements by a highway. The airport is of critical importance to the community, especially when ice makes boat travel impossible. At 62 degrees latitude (approx. the same as Yellowknife), Iqualuit offers some of the most severe weather you are likely to encounter at any airport, and has been used for cold weather testing of new airliners. This version of Iqaluit is a complete rebuild of the default version. Almost all the buildings have been custom modeled based on photos. The design of the terminal building at Iqaluit is one of the coolest I've seen, and was the main inspiration for making this scenery. Due to its complexity many details had to be omitted, but hopefully I was able to at least capture some of its "Yellow Submarine" uniqueness. Ramp lights, fences, ground objects, arrestor cables (non-functional) and all the rest of the usual junk is included. Also Instrument Approach Plates.

Greater Moncton International Airport / Canada (CYQM) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
CYQM - Greater Moncton International Airport / Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I found that most stock airports in FSX lack a decent amount of character and realism and this area in particular was dreadful! The stock airport was rather inaccurate. I've made several additions to the airport which are listed below. All these enchancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in the beautiful Canada! Features: *Expanded parking apron *Main terminal building with it's 2 jetways and additional parking for regional jets/turboprops *Seperate parking aprons for GA traffic near the old terminal *Hangar and other airport buildings added *Airport vehicles and objects throughout the airport *Main road in front of airport added with static vehicles *Parking lots with static vehicles *Airport fire station with fire trucks *Static de-icing vehicles

Sikorsky S-72 RSRA Download

File Description:
he RSRA ( Rotor Systems Research Aircraft ) was developed by Sikorsky for NASA and the Army. Configured with rotor, wings and auxiliary jets, the RSRA allows testing of new rotor concepts at speeds up to 300 knots. It can fly like a helicopter with a wing and jets, or as a fixed-wing aircraft without a rotor. The RSRA was a unique pure research aircraft developed to fill the void between design analysis, wind tunnel testing, and flight results of rotor aircraft. The joint NASA/Army project began in December of 1970, first flight on October 12, 1976 with the first of two aircraft arriving from Sikorsky to NASA on February 11, 1979. The aircraft was designed to investigate the concepts involved with stopping the main rotor in flight, with the large blades then providing aerodynamic lift assistance to the stubby conventional wings extending from the lower fuselage. This concept gave the aircraft the vertical flight stability of a helicopter, and the horizontal cruise capability of a conventional aircraft. The filght Simulator model is VTOL, so READ NOTES BEFOREFLYING, or you'll encounter some problems to fly it...

Simflyers KLAX AFCAD 2.1 Download

File Description:
INSTRUCTIONS AND MORE INFO INCLUDED IN ZIP FILE. INCLUDES 3 OVERLAYS. Hi, I've created these AFCAD files for the Simflyers LAX scenery, as I could not find anything that was truly a; realistic, and b; functioned properly with the MS Fltsim 2002 AI. I've spent many hours testing and tweaking these AFCAD files, so I hope they are perfect enough to be widely used. However, I do stress that some previous experience of using AFCAD and changing aircraft radius sizes will be necessary. Please report any faults which may be discovered! Design tips for the future are always very useful! WHATS NEW FOR 2.1: I have changed the direction of takeoff / landing for all of the runways, as the AI appears to behave a lot better this way (less likeliness of aircraft getting stuck!). This has allowed me to move all of the runways used by the KLAX overlay to the north side of the airport, reducing the chances of aircraft landing on top of one another. KLAX also now has some extra Ramp GA Large bays to accomodate for all of the American Eagle Saab 340's! Finally, I have cleaned up the AFCAD removing unecessary nodes etc.

Special effects of the visor in the mainpanel of the Concorde. It can be used for any heavy jet. Also you have 3 choices, between the metal gray color panel (old Boeing) or the brown color of the FS2004 boeing default and the feeling to be in a Airbus (PFD of A380). All gauges are on the same place in the different engine version or airplane, no more memorizing the different panels. It has a full working overhead, TCAS radar, ATC control, customized FS2004 GPS, ACS-GPS, APU, FMC, HUD, Wiper and many custom xml gauges. Special attention is made on the Radio, Fuel, PFD, Clock, Taxi speed control, Wind speed, Bank rate, Auto mb-Hg, Push back, and Sim speed. A lot of information during take off, flight and landing. Active ILS - KMIA v2.0 Download

File Description:
UPDATED KMIA see the readme file -- By design KMIA is now the most advanced ATC controlled airport in the FS9 database. As most know initiating the ILS at certain airports for AI Traffic is not a function at this time when using AFCAD2. If you add a new ILS runway to an airport such as KMIA (Miami International Airport 8L/26R) only the user aircraft can use this runway when visibility falls below 3 miles. ATC will no longer use this runway for AI Traffic because FS9 sees it as a visual runway. This will cause ATC to vector your AI Traffic back to 9L/27R (old numbers) 8R/26L (new numbers) which is also a Terminal departure runway. All 4 runways for KMIA are now simultaneously active for both departure and arrival. The many options (written in the XML compiled to bgl) are to numerous to list for KMIA so follow the instructions in the README and just sit back (or fly) and plane spot either VMC or IMC for a very active airport. *** FlyTampa-Miami Scenery AFCAD2 and special ILS bgl also updated and included ***

Van's RV-8 Download

File Description:
In 1995, Van’s decided to re-visit the tandem concept. Even though the side-by-side RV-6\/6A had become the most popular homebuilt design ever, there was still a significant percentage of pilots who really wanted centerline seating. The consensus seemed to be that a new tandem airplane, optimized for cross-country flying, would be popular.\n\nThe "concept airplane" was dubbed the RV-8. A one-of-a-kind demonstrator was built in 1995 and introduced at Oshkosh. The cockpit was several inches wider than the RV-4, so space both front and rear was greatly improved. Really big people (high on the "bubba scale") who could not fit in earlier RVs now had an airplane they could fly. A front baggage compartment almost doubled the available baggage capacity and along with the usual compartment behind the rear seat, actually gave slightly more space than the RV-6\/6A. This package features a FSDSv2 model, custom panel, VC, moving parts, and two paint schemes. This aircraft is fun to fly, and also works well as an AI addition for GA routes.
