Tips and Tricks - Number 14. In this issue there is a discussion of the MS Traffic Tool Box addon which many may not know exists. Numerous recommendations for new and different things to do and audition are also included as well as the usual assortment of "How-To's", links to useful sites, and much, much more. There is also a segment reviewing some exceptional aircraft design work. In addition there is a "from the e-mailbag" department where we try to answer a question of general interest submitted by a reader. Updated indexes by John Burford in .xls (Excel) and .pdf formats for the entire series are included. Special thanks go to Jarink, who is a repainter in IL-2/PF. Jarink was kind enough to send me his layered photoshop files of the Noseart that I used for these repaints. I also used his repaints as a guide for my repaints.
This texture represents "Big Gas Bird" one of the B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 385th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.The B-17G started seeing action with the 385th in November, 1943 and continued until the end of the war. The Checkerboard group markings on the tail were adopted in February, 1945.

File Description:
Many have seen my golf course at Andrewsfield, England. These libraries enable you to build an 18 hole course, now, and with many added golf objects. I was asked by John B. Loney Jr. (excellent designer) to do a golf course at Oroville, CA. It is called Table Mountain Golf Course. We used course lay-out maps to design the course close as possible to real life including water hazards. One file in this download is an update which is needed; the other two are new. Be sure to have bobslibraries installed as well since I use a couple of objects from my hangar library which is part of bobslibraries. John is close to done with Oroville, CA (KOVE)along with another he is working on. Be sure to grab those when you see them! As always, comments or suggestions are appreciated. Bob

ADE Home Edition (Freeware) was used to design these BGL files: This is an update of my previous version, my previous version not required, these 2 files are only for the FSX default airport: one with the Xwind rwy 11/29 activated where both rwy's will now be used for takeoff/landing and one as default: all taxiways now updated to the Nov 07 AIP NZ ground movement charts, all taxisigns changed to match the taxiways with missing taxisigns added, assigned parking with extra parking, and for the Canterbury Aero Club the grass rwy 2L/20R is now open and start locations added, support vehicle roads rebuilt, extra fuel trucks and several other improvements, airport views are from the roof of control tower (when in tower view) fully tested with Ultimate Traffic/WOAI but not required, please view the readme before installation

| De Havilland DH-81/A Swallow Moth |

File Description:
The de Havilland DH.81 Swallow Moth was aimed at the low cost sporting aircraft market during the Great Depression. It was a single engined two seat low-wing monoplane; only one was built.
There was separate tandem seating for two, initially open, but later enclosed with a one-piece hinged cabin top. With this enclosure the aircraft was called the DH.81A
The Swallow Moth was first flown by Geoffrey de Havilland on 21 August 1931.Some alteration to the fin followed and the flight testing continued until February 1932. During this time the class B marking E-7 was allocated, but the Swallow Moth never made it to the civil register. Its design influenced later de Havilland aircraft, particularly the 1938 Moth Minor.
Built using FSDS V3.0, Model is fully Animated and has Reflective textures.
