FFS Saab 340 MFD Modification

File Description:
This modification of the payware Flight Factory Simulations Saab 340 will allow you to view the Cruise Power settings on your MFD just like the real aircraft. Upon reaching your cruise altitude, you can select the appropriate page with either Anti-Ice on /off for your selected altitude. This will allow you to select the max power for Cruise just like the real aircraft without fumbling through charts or manuals. This is Version 2 with the fix of 10 lines per page instead of 11 so that all the settings are displayed

FFS Saab 340 Gauge Updates

File Description:
Version 1.0 Left and Right Fuel Gauge replacements for the great FFS Saab 340 aircraft. Also includes a How-To guide for moving this aircraft from your FS9 installation to FSX. Steps include maintaining the functionality of the external Load Config Utility. Version 2.0 will be out within the next week or so and will update the Low Fuel lights NOTE: Due to the design of the original gauges, the aircraft Master Alarm will still sound as the system thinks there is no fuel in the plane. Note that the aircraft will operate correctly regardless.

SAAB Viggen and Draken Package

File Description:
A complement to Ulf Nordin's beautiful Swedish Air Force ai-package for FS 2004. These are texture replacements for Kazunori Ito's beautiful Draken and Viggen fighters. Only textures is made by me... These aircrafts will show up in your aircrafts directory as flyable planes. They are correct regarding camouflage and markings.

Saab S340 (SE-KCH) Nextjet

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Saab 340 by Carenado, in the colors of NextJet SE-KCH. Built in Linköping, Sweden in 1990 with c/n 171, this aircraft first flew with Air Exel Belgique as OO-RXM, before going to Tatra Air in 1992, becoming OK-UGT. It went to Kenya Flamingo Airways as 5Y-FLB in 2000. After being stored in 2008, it started flying with NextJet as SE-KCH, until 2018 when Nextjet went bankrupt. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the white textures supplied by Carenado.

Thanks for downloading FFG's SAAB340 series aircraft. This software will enable a fast upgrade of all your current Saab version to V1.3 flight model. Changes from previous release: To numerous to list all of them but here are some highlights. 1. Correct engine power in terms of torque. 2. Fuel flow should be correct 3. Disabled the spoiler, 340 doesn't have one. 4. Pitch attitude should be correct during all phases of flight. 5. Propeller RPM correct at full power. 6. Requires slightly more power to taxi at the high idle setting.

Saab Safir Ethiopian Air Force

File Description:
The Ethiopian Air Force bought 16 Safir A's in 1946, with an additional 14 C models in 1960. In May 1947, the Swedish advisor to Haile Selassie Count Carl Gustaf von Rosen made good publicity for the SAAB Safir by flying a 91A from Sweden to Ethiopia during a 31 hour non-stop flight. The aircraft was a standard one, just extra fuel tanks were installed. The Saabs were based in Debre Zeyit, close to Addis Abeba, and initially, the Ethiopian pilots were trained by a group of Swedish instructors under von Rosen. This repaint represents one of the second batch of 91C models, numbered 136. At least 18 airframes survived well into the 90's, when they were sold to South Africa. It is not clear whether 136 is one of them.. Repaint for the SibWings Saab Safir by jan Kees Blom.
