This folder contains a repaint for the McDonnell F2H-2 Banshee by Rob Richardson, in the colors of F2H-2 BuNo 123224 K 404 of VF-34 as it looked when it took part in the national air show in Dayton, Ohio in september 1953.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Rob Richardson.

File Description:
In 1952/54, the Italian Air Force received the Lockeed PV-2 Harpoon in order to enforce the ASW groups (equipped with the old Curtiss SB-2C Helldiver). These aircrafts served with A.M.I. (Aeronautica Militare Italiana) until 1956, when the ASW groups (86th and 87th) started to be re-equipped with Grumman S2F Trackers.
Complete aircraft included. Original CFS2/FS2K/FS2K2 FREEWARE model by ALPHASIM, features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels and so on. Textures for an a/c belonged to 86th ASW Group By Manuele Villa. Installation instructions included.

The photoreal scenery covers a great area of Campania around the city of Naples (Napoli). The airports of Napoli (ICAO code LINR) and Pontecagnano (LIRI) are founds inside the scenery (see map). For the best results, use it in association with other parts of Campania photoreal: Campania 1 Caserta, Campania 3 San Severo, Campania 4 Benevento, Campania 5 Melfi, Campania 6 Palinuro.

File Description:
F-2A is a Japanese fighter aircraft and it has been developed with the United States based on the General Dynamics (post 1993, Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon. Its blue oceanic flight livery is referred to as "The most beautiful camouflage livery of the world". Its three divited canopy and big-wide wing is the most different part between the F-2 and F-16. This model is only for FS9, you can't use it with FSX. By Team FS KBT.
The Mitsubishi F-2 Fighter is manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and Lockheed Martin for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, with a 60/40 split in manufacturing between Japan and the USA.
Some differences between the F-2 and the F-16A:
* a 25% larger wing area
* composite materials used to reduce overall weight and radar signature
* longer and wider nose to accommodate a phased-array radar
* larger tailplane
* larger air intake
* three-piece cockpit canopy
* capabilities for four ASM-1 or ASM-2 anti-ship missiles, four AAMs, and additional fuel tanks

This is my second attempt in creating a mission. I got what I want in a much shorter time now. Still a few bugs I want to look into, like creating an award for the mission, the fsx mission editor manual is not of any graet help on this. I am not planning to add any voice to future missions due to the time it will take to create it and the download size of the mission. I had great fun in creating it.
