File Description:
Vinh Airport (IATA: VII, ICAO: VVVH) (Vietnamese: Sân bay Vinh) is located in Vinh city of Nghệ An Province northern Vietnam. It is a mixed military/civil airport. It used to be one of the two major military airbases in Vietnam besides Gia Lam Airbase in Hanoi. During 2002-2015, the airport saw the annual increase of passengers of 43.89%, the highest rate out of all airports in Vietnam, reaching to the all-time high of 1.25 million passengers in 2014. A new terminal with designed capacity of 3 million passengers per year and estimated cost of 800 billion VND (around $37.65 million) was opened in 2015. There are VASCO, Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific Airlines operating flight from and to here everyday.

This is a repaint of the CIS An-24RV for AI traffic in the original 1998 Aerosvit livery when the carrier transitioned from it's original name of Aerosweet. These textures were meant to be uploaded with "aerosweet_1998.zip", but accidentally were not included. That file includes 1998 textures and the FAIB 737-200 repaints of the era as well. File Description:
Antonov An-8 for retro AI Traffic. The An-8 was a two-engine turboprop transport, used from the 1960s-early 2000s, and was the predecessor of the An-10/12 four-engine transports. This MCX conversion of the FS9 SBAI An-8 model is only compatible with P3Dv4.5-P3Dv5.2. The aircraft models have PBR texturing with dynamic light effects, lua-scripted night lighting, and hard-coded lights and smoke effects.
This package includes nine models and 52 repaints focusing on the aircraft during its service life, including many civilian operators. 22 of the paints are mine, and the other 30 are from other authorized sources, listed in the documentation. Models are described in the documentation. Permissions for conversion were kindly given by Sergey Bunevich on behalf of SBAI for the model, and Christian Gold of the Retro AI Traffic Group for most of the repaints. Instructions and extensive credits are in the documentation included in the package. Original aircraft by SBAI, MCX and RADiator utilities by Arno Gerretsen, MCX conversion and select repaints by Michael Pearson.

Weststar Aviation was formed in April of 2003 with one single engine helicopter. Currently the company operates a fleet of 4 helicopters consisting of 2 Dauphin AS 365 N models, an EC120B Colibri, and an Ecurieul AS 350 BA. The repaint shows the airline's recent acquisition, a 1984 built Boeing 737-2Q8. The aircraft had been in service with America West, LADECO and Westjet before. Textures only for the AI Aardvark model.

This aircraft has multiple loadout models; an incredible wealth of animation, including launching weapons and an ejection sequence; and is a real dream to fly. Additionally, this aircraft is very AI-friendly. Aircraft and base textures by Roland Laborie. Re-upload from 2009 hack.
