This folder contains a repaint for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX by Real Air. It shows Spitfire IXc MJ897 of GR 2/33 'Savoie', which was the only French reconnaissance unit to operate the Spitfire. It was based in Dijon-Longvic. 'Curieux' was lost to flak on the 4th of January 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by RealAir.

| Lockheed P-38L Italian Air Force 3 Stormo 3-12 |

This folder contains a repaint for the MIlviz P-38L, representing P-38L MM4260 3-21 as flown by the 3 Stormo of the Italian Air Force. After the war, Italy received 120 P-38s in an agreement dated April, 1946. Those heavy fighters, mainly P-38Ls, but also F-5s, were put in service in 4 Stormo. They flew reconnaissance missions over the Balkans, as well as ground attack, naval cooperation and air superiority missions. Delivered after a one-month refurbishing, they finally were all sent to AMI not before 1952. Other wings, like 3 Stormo, used the P-38 as well. Due at the big dimensions of this fighter, the old engines and pilot error, a very high number of P-38s, sadly, were lost in accidents. At least 30 crashes of P-38s in Italian service claimed a number of victims. Despite this, many Italian pilots liked the fighter, due to its excellent visibility on the ground and its stability at take off. Finally, P-38s were phased-out in 1956. Today, no Italian P-38s survive, nor even a single component from one, as these aircraft, with the value of light alloys, were quickly dismantled. | North American P-51D Swedish Air Force #26152 "Gul Kalle" |

This folder contains a repaint for the 'Little Friends' package of the Warbirdsim P-51D Mustang in the colors of #44-63675, in the colors of 26152, 'Gul Kalle' of F4 of the Royal Swedish Air Force, where it flew between 1947 and 1953, when it was sold to Nicaragua. Originally, this aircraft was E6-D "Sierra Sue II", whose colors were still visible on the fuselage below the Swedish colors.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Warbirdsim.

They are to be based at RAF Lossiemouth, Scotland and shall protect the UK's nuclear deterrent and aircraft carriers, as well as perform search-and-rescue and overland reconnaissance missions. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson and David Biggar. Master textures by Kyle Schurb.

File Description:
Fourteen repaints representing the MiG-21F-13/Chengdu F-7B Fishbed's as flown secretly by the 4477th Test Evaluation Squadron, United States Air Force based out of Tonopah, Nevada. These aircraft were flown as part of the Constant Peg program giving US pilots realistic training against Soviet Bloc aircraft and tactics. The original aircraft were supplied by Indonesia and later aircraft were obtained from China. Textures only for Michael Pearson's MiG-21 model.

File Description:
FS2004 Scenery--Ernest Harmon Air Force Base and Stephenville Airport (CYJT), Newfoundland, 1957-62. Originally built to facilitate the transport of US aircraft to Europe during the Second World War, during the Cold War Harmon was the biggest US base outside the USA. Like nearby Gander it was a vital refuelling point for transatlantic crossings, but also an important part of the defences against the threat of Soviet bombers carrying muclear weapons attacking the USA via the North Pole. F-89 Scorpions and then F-102 Delta Daggers were based there, and this download includes F-89s especially made for this scenery by David Wooster. It also has custom landclass adjustments by Al Von Pingel and many custom buildings by Dan French. Flight plans are provided for 1957, 1959 and 1962, doing much to recreate this significant Cold War base as it really was. By Al Von Pingel, Dan French and Ken Lawson.
