File Description:
The C.202 Folgore was a World War II fighter aircraft built by Macchi Aeronautica and operated by the Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force). Considered one of the most beautiful fighters to fly with wartime Axis forces, the C.202 was a development of the earlier C.200 Saetta, with a more powerful German Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and with an extremely streamlined fuselage.Undoubtedly the best wartime fighter to serve in large numbers with the Regia Aeronautica, the Folgore operated on all fronts in which Italy was involved.

ATTENTION, this is only an upgrade/fixing package, so you must have already installed the main package 'c202_v01.zip'.

Contains 2 FIXED/UPGRADED and 4 NEW Hi-Res GMax models (4 different versions) feature the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and leading edge flaps. BREDA Ba.65 (A.80) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The Breda 65 pioneered and developed the doctrine which would soon be known as 'blitzkrieg'. The Breda 65 flew combat missions over Spain with the 'Aviazione Legionaria' from August 1937. The faster Ba.65 A.80 (Series II), with new engine, more powerful supercharger, a constant speed airscrew and a slatted wing made its combat debut in Spain during October 1938. By September 1939 the Ba.65 A.80 was judged inadequate for prospective trans Alpine combat against France and surviving Regia Aeronautica Ba.65s were quickly relegated to Libya, where they were mostly squandered providing close air support for the Italian Army between June 1940 and January 1941. The final Ba.65 combat missions were flown by the mutinous Iraqi Air Force in support of the French and German funded Islamic insurgency of April/May 1941.

Complete aircraft, features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls. Five different liveries ("Regia Aeronautica"/Spanish"Aviazione Legionaria"). VC only. GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa, Flight dynamics, Handling notes and Tutorials by FSAviator, Sounds by Tim Dement. It works also (Tested) in FSX (NOT Acceleration). By Manuele Villa/MVG3D, April 2010.

EDCB - Ballenstedt Airport - Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany *Version 1* Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The airfield Ballenstedt is located in the eastern foothills of the €œHarz (North German low mountain range) and with twenty thousand aircraft movements per year a relatively highly frequented airport.

The scenery is designed very much in detail. All important objects have been created by me using photos of the original field. Also some clearly visible landmarks are integrated like the large photovoltaic arrangement north of the asphalt runway and the quite large pig farm “Asmusstedt” situated east of the field. An additional important point of reference for glider pilots is the so-called "Gegenstein", a narrow rock on top of the small hill south of the Gliderfield. A retouched photo background, covering all four seasons, completes the scenery.

However, many smaller Objects, like people, cars or static airplanes in this scenery were taken from three popular freeware libraries for whose use I got the friendly permission of the authors. If these libraries are not installed , many objects are not visible!

P51 Black Widow for Vs. 6.4/6.51 Download

File Description:
P-61B BLACK WIDOW for x-plane 6.4/6.51 The need for a true night fighter aircraft was well demonstrated during the Battle of Britain in 1940. Aircraft used to counter German night attacks were not very effective. At the direction of the Air Corp's Carl A. Spaatz, John Northrop submitted a ground up night fighter design, which, designated as the XP-61, first flew on May 26, 1942. The Black Widow was the first aircraft designed from the ground up as a night fighter. Its innovative slotted flaps and spoiler ailerons allowed operation from short airstrips and improved handling; the radar carried in its nose made it the dominant force in the night skies of Europe and the South Pacific. From July 6, 1944, when it claimed its first victory, to war's end, the P-61 distinguished itself as one of America's most unique fighting machines. After the war, P-61s were used in reconnaissance, weather research, and flight testing. The first American flight ejections were made from a P-61. Only four P-61 aircraft are known to exist today. SPECIFICATIONS: ENGINES: 2 Pratt and Whitney R-2800 2000 HP radials WING SPAN: 66.0 ft. LENGTH: 49.42 ft. HEIGHT: 14.67 ft. MAXIMUM SPEED: 366 MPH ARMAMENT: Four 20mm Cannon.

Martin's Air Charter Douglas C-54B Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
On 12 June 1962 the four years young Dutch charter company Martin's Air Charter (MAC), proud owner of two de Havilland DH-104 Dove and two Douglas C-47 ("DC-3") aircraft, welcomed at its Amsterdam homebase the flagship of the fleet: the Douglas C-54B ("DC-4") PH-MAE. Until that moment the largest aircraft of MAC, whose main activities were on the IT-charters and ad-hoc cargo transport, were C-47 PH-MAA which was limited to the transport of max. 32 passengers and C-47 PH-MAB which had a large freight door and could transport a maximum of 3 tons payload. C-54B PH-MAE was a huge improvement since it could transport 70 passengers or 7 tons payload. The other great advantage being it range (medium distance). It soon became a very popular aircraft. With the arrival of the larger Douglas DC-6A combiplane PH-MAM in 1966, the days of PH-MAE with MAC were numbered. The C-54B was sold in February 1967 to the German operator Allgemeine Lufttransport All-Air. Around the same time Martin's Air Charter had changed its name into Martinair Holland and as such entered the turboprop and jet age. These are textures only. You will need Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30X.ZIP). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX BS273 High Altitude Flight Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX by Real Air. It shows Spitfire IXc BS273, which was one of the Spitfires modified for high altitude interceptions, based at Northolt, 1942, and regularly flown by F/O Prince Emmanuel Galitzine. The prince was a Russian immigrant, a great grandson of Tsar Paul 1. After the Russian revolution, his family fled Russia, ending up in England. He wanted to fly, and when the Russian attacked Finland, he decided to join the Finnish Air Force. However, on hearing his mother was killed in the London blitz, he returned to the uK (via the US and Canada) and joined the RAF, becoming a Spitfire pilot with the Special Service Flight in Northolt. On 12 september 1942, he intercepted a JU-86 above Southampton at 41.000ft and attacked it. The battle went up to 43.000 ft, and was the highest recorded air battle of WWII. His spitfire only had two cannons, and one of them was frozen solid, giving a very unbalanced flight while shooting, combined with excessive vapor trails of his ammunition. It is believed he managed to hit the german aircraft, but in the end it got away safely. However, since the Germans now knew they could be intercepted, they launched no more high altitude attacks on the UK. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by RealAir.

118527 "Jiminy Cricket" Douglas C-47D Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a livery-paint for the Leading Edge Simulations Douglas DC3/C47. Paint made by Leen "Flybike" de Jager This paint depicts (more or less, within the limitations of the model and its painter) the C47-D ,118527 "Jiminy Cricket " Historical Note: "Jiminy Cricket" is depicted as it flew for the Sicily operation in improvised night camouflage. It was one of the original 52 C-47s that deployed to Egypt with the 316thTCG in December 1942. "Jiminy Cricket" was one of the first from the 316th Sq. ATC, to visit Project 19, delivering worn out parts and returning rebuilt engines to the RAF. It eventually took part in the invasion of Sicily, where, the pilot, Sgt. George Quisenberry received wounds from German FLAK. The shell destroyed the nose of the Aircraft, knocking out all instruments except the stand by compass. Jiminy carried the crew back with nothing but the moon and the sticking standby compass. Jiminy Cricket was repaired and served through May 1, 1947, then was "salvaged" The skin-set includes cockpit- and (freighter-) cabin textures as well. Passenger-seats, luggage-racks ,airco etc.removed from the plane.( its a freighter now !!) Livery dedicated panel and cockpit colors How to install: Just unzip118527JiminyCricket.zip into a temp. folder , and start reading the readme file. Have fun and enjoy, Leen "Flybike" de Jager http://www.flybike-paints.nl
