McDonnell Douglas F-4N Phantom II (Version 2) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
McDonnell Douglas F-4N Phantom II (Version 2). This is one of the most iconic military aircraft of all time, ushering in the modern age of air combat; from Asia to the Middle East; and some of the 5,057 manufactured airframes are still in active use today, after over five decades of excellent service. This revised model set is what I originally envisioned when I undertook the modification of Nick Black's F-4E source files. Numerous changes are listed in the extensive documentation with this file. This file contains early and late F-4N base models, as well as the QF-4N with its NOLO (No Live Operator) drone configuration. The three main aircraft variants include a total of 19 loadout options, and 35 repaints representing these aircraft in service with the US Navy and United States Marine Corps. I have also included a layered Photoshop paint kit for repainters. While I did not paint every squadron from every cruise or time period, I believe there is a nice spread of representation in this package. This project properly updates my comprehensive (AI traffic) history of this aircraft. I did not do this alone by any means, and all contributors that I can think of are listed in the documentation. This is the complete aircraft, with all main FS textures and effects included. Original FSDS source and paint kit by Nick Black; FDE by Mike MacIntyre, all model/paint kit modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.

Afriqiyah Airways Airbus A320-214 (5A-ONB) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Afriqiyah Airways is a state-owned airline based in Tripoli, Libya. Before the Libyan civil war of 2011 it operated domestic services between Tripoli and Benghazi, and international scheduled services to over 25 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East; since the end of the war, it has been rebuilding its business. In mid-October 2010, Afriqiyah Airways and Libyan Airlines (Libya's other state flag carrier) were expected to merge into one airline, and, although postponed, the merger is still planned. The name Afriqiyah comes from the Arabic word for African. Afriqiyah Airways' main base is Tripoli International Airport, and the airline is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization and the International Air Transport Association.

Afriqiyah's livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-214 aircraft (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. Visit my facebook page "Aviation Art Paintings by Giacomo Tomasini" for news, updates and previews on my future repaint projects: https://www.facebook.com/AviationArtPaintings . Thanks for downloading & Happy flying.

China - Summer 1993 and Summer 1995 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a comprehensive set of flight plans and textures (80 total) to depict AI traffic from China circa 1993-1995. Flight plans were made based on timetables from Summer 1993 and Summer 1995. Initially, the project was intended to be based on the 1993 timetable only. However, inconsistencies were found on China Eastern MD-11 flights. A Summer 1995 timetable was used to fix those inconsistencies. Info for a few more carriers was found on the 1995 timetable, which is included as well. Hence, a 1993-1995 time span. The carriers included in this package are the following: Air China, CAAC, China Eastern, China Southern, China Northern, China Southwest, China Northwest, Xiamen Airlines, Yunnan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Air Great Wall, China Xinjiang Airlines, China General Aviation, Shenzhen Airlines, China Xinhua, Zhongyuan Airlines, Wuhan Airlines, Air Guizhou and Hainan Airlines. It features representative flights for several aircraft (mostly for CAAC and Xian Y-7s flights) thanks to the valuable help from Christian Gold who created flight plans based on pictures on the internet and Chinese aviation books. Some of the airlines above are no longer around. Some other are nowadays impressively larger than back in the 90's. This package is an interesting combination of popular aircraft (i.e. Boeings, MDs, etc.) and exotic aircraft (i.e. Russian aircraft and Xian Y-7s). Additional information regarding required models and other files on the read me file. Screenshots of every aircraft featured are included as well. Enjoy!!!

C-46 Curtiss Commando - With Buffalo Air type VC and Failure Model Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
FS2004 Curtiss C46 VC And Failure Model, v2. For the C46 Curtiss Commando aircraft by Libardo Guzman Garcia, Greg Pepper, and Tom Gibson (GAC46V2.ZIP). This is my Version 2 and it supersedes my previous uploads (c46bflvc.zip, c46bflfix.zip, c46bfl_up.zip). It adds a virtual cockpit similar to the Buffalo Airways C46 cockpit as well as pilot induced and random failures/damages through gauges originally developed by Charles Owens for the DC3C (most failures) and by Robert Graf (carburetor icing and oil consumption) for the DC-6. These gentlemen together with Gunter Tesons RealEngine_v14 have really made flying piston aircraft a lot more interesting. The frequency of random failures can be adjusted between "never" and "certain" but you always have to watch the engine limitations, carburetor icing, and oil consumption.

Further gauges by other authors are used or have been modified or have been developed by me. Version 2 increases the number of failures (engine, fire, leaks, systems, equipment, instruments), and introduces an improved upper overhead panel, an abbreviated interactive checklist on the panel, and reduced braking in rain, snow and freezing rain. Version 1 is not required for Version 2. See the C46BFL ReadMe V2.txt for further details and credits. Required files: ga_c46_v2.zip, RealEngine_v14.zip and also recommended: The Project Tupolev TU-154M aircraft for the fully functional KLN90B GPS (PT aircraft available at: http://files.protu-154.net/). ZGGG Guangzhou Baiyun Int'l Airport 2017 Download

File Description:
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (ZGGG) is the major airport of Guangzhou, China. Located in Guangzhou's Baiyun District, it opened on August 5, 2004, but has gone through major changes since FSX was created. The default version only has one terminal and two runways and is slightly out of place from the actual location. I placed the airport in its real location based upon the charted latitude and longitude of the airport reference point. Guangzhou Baiyun Int'l Airport now has three runways. The third runway opened in February 2015. The centerpiece is the new Terminal 2, faithfully rendered here as much as possible. The terminal footprint and gates are accurate. The 3D terminal itself is a simple Sketchup project with generic textures (including night textures). The scenery converted and placed using MCX's amazing Convert and Place Wizard. I added the FBO ramp and the FEDEX Cargo Ramp Aprons and added some hangars to both locations, all default FSX buildings, so no additional library downloads are required. The new runway (now called 02R/20L) was added with Airport Design Editor. The old runway 02R/20L was renamed to the current runway 02L/20R and the old runway 02L/20R was renamed to the current runway 01/19. All taxiways are accurately drawn and designated with taxisigns using the latest AIRAC 1712 Jeppesen chart for ZGGG. All six ILS approaches are rendered as well as ADE would let me.

Asiana Airlines 1998 AI Package Download

File Description:
Asiana and Korean Air had full control of the Korean domestic market in 1998 as South Korea's only 2 scheduled airlines, making them appear at the vast majority of Korean airports. 737-500s were exiting the fleet, with only 3 remaining, and the first A321 had just come online. International routes were flown by 747-400 Combis or 767-300s, with several "tag on" routes onward from Seoul. Asiana served many commercial airports in Japan with 737-400s at the time, and is an important part of the Japanese traffic as well. The carrier had 2 737-500s and it's first A321 painted in a special "Experimental Color Scheme"(EC), and this is represented in the flightplans. One 737-500 also remained in a slightly different older livery dubbed as the "1994" colors, while the rest of the fleet had been modified to the "1998" colors. As a BONUS, ranmori has painted the 747-400, 747-400M and 737-400 in the 1994 livery for use with those flightplans, though there is no use for them in these 1998 plans. Repaints included for the FAIB 737-400, 737-500, 767-300, 747-400, and A321. All repaints were done by the very talented Ranmori Scythe, flightplans done by the not-so-talented Chasen Richardson. Continental Micronesia 1998 AI Package Download

File Description:
Continental Mircronesia was Continental's Guam-based Pacific operation. In 1998, CMI had 3 747-200s and 16 727s (10 pax+ 6 flying DHL cargo), and was also using 4 Continental 757s to cover routes from GUM. The 747s mostly fly between NRT/GUM/HNL and spend their down time at the HNL maintenance base, but they also flew charters to OKJ and SDJ which are represented in these plans. The 727s fly all over the Pacific, serving most every large city in Japan as well as TPE, CNS, and the 7-stop GUM-HNL "milk run", flown twice weekly. The cargo plans for the 727s are representitive and also serve much the the Pacific reaching as far as Australia. I created arrival and departure banks most days so the planes often arrive back to GUM in the middle of the night around the same time. The "Micronesia" titles were removed from the last DC-10-30 in March 1998, after which time all DC-10s wore the standard Continental livery as did the 757-200s while using the CMI codes and callsigns. Currently, there is no Continental Micronesia DC-10 AI paint, but links to all relevant paints are included as well as Ranmori Scythe's FAIB 747-200 PW texture. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Lanseria International Airport (FALA), Johannesburg, South Africa Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Lanseria international airport is Johannesburg's second international airport and mostly cater to private jets, low cost airlines and many private general aviation and flightschool aircraft. It is a privately owned airport and can accomodate aircraft up to the size of a Boeing 757-300. This airport has seen John Travolta use it with his Boeing 707, the Hilton family with a private Boeing 757 and even the USAF have landed their C-17 Globemasters at the airport when Air Force one came here in the past with the latter landing at AFB Waterkloof. This package started out as a conversion of the wonderfull FSX scenery of the airport by Lee Hall and converted with permission from the original author. It quickly expanded however to a project that now additionally includes photoreal ground textures that changes with seasons, many added fences and gates around the airport, inclusion of the shaded parking areas with parked cars, static airplanes (RWY12 and EZ scenery libraries needed to see this) as well as numerous objects around the airport and apron made by myself in Gmax to give the airport some FS9 life. Also included is the wonderfull "apron light splashes" by Hans Günther Schnell who kindly gave me permission to use it for the night times. I have also included a local mesh for the area for users of FSGlobal 2010 to eliminate the extreme elevation anomoly around the airport.
