| Ghana Airways 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Ghana Airways was only 6 years from the end of a long history in 1998. A pair of DC-9-51s flew around West Africa, sometimes on 6-stop flights, while the 2 DC-10-30s(one of which was still in the old livery) flew to New York and the 3 routes remaining in Europe. Though based in ACC, ABJ seems to have had more flights and destinations from the DC-9s. One of the DC-9s was destroyed in a crash landing 2 years later and the airline never recovered, shutting down in 2004. A single Fokker 27-600 was operated by the Ghana Air Force as "Ghana Link", a regional subsidiary of Ghana Airways, in full Ghana military colors. I have included that aircraft with representative domestic flights as flights were not listed on the schedule. Links to repaints included. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. | Yangon Airways 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Yangon Airways flew a pair of ATRs in competition with Air Mandalay and Myanmar National Airways on domestic routes in Myanmar. I do not show Yangon operating more than 2 ATRs until 2003, but the plans call for 4, with many routes left out! This leads me to think that some other equipment might have filled in for some flights, or that the airline submitted the schedule but then reduced frequencies, but the extra planes are included and segregated. Note that the airline later changed it's IATA code, ICAO code, and callsign when Avianca became "HK", so use the ones above for the 90s. In 23 years, the aircraft has not had a livery change, the paints are on Avsim for both ATRs that operated at the time, though my plans only use one texture. | Aloha Air 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
By 1998, Aloha Air was down to operating 737-200s, having ditched the 737-300s and 737-400s that they flew earlier in the 1990s. The 737-200 would remain the mainstay of the inter-island fleet until the shutdown in 2007. Impressively, every one of the airlines' high frequency routes was daily. The arrival of the 737-700s and flying to the mainland USA would come a little later. The airline would eventually fail in 2008, after a hike in fuel prices and competition from Mesa Air Group's iflyGo! forced the airline into hardship. In it's history, Aloha opearted 63 different 737-200s. Some of them lived on as the company re-organized into the much smalled "Aloha Air Cargo" which is around today. | Vietnam Airlines 1998 |

File Description:
Vietnam Airlines was the flagship carrier of Southeast Asia in 1998, offering the only longhaul flights in the Vietnam region. The 767-300 was the flagship at the time, serving some major Asian cities as well as Europe and Dubai. A320s did most of the intra-Asia flying while the ATR-72s and Fokker 70s stayed within the Vietnam\Cambodia area. The flightplans called for 1 extra 767 and Fokker 70, and 2 extra ATR-72s which I have segregated in case you wish to delete them. Michael Pearson has done all the paints. I have included a "version 2" or "v2" paint where he has been kind enough to give us 2+ variations for a livery. If you wish, just assign 1 texture to both to save space. | Royal Air Cambodge 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Royal Air Cambodge was about halfway through it's life in 1998, having started in 1994 and closed in 2001. The airline was flying a pair of 737-400s to several of the major Asian port cities within 2-3 hours flying time, while the 3 ATR-72s did domestic flying and served the nearby Asian nations. Though I can not find record of more than 3 ATRs, but the flight schedule calls for 5 aircraft. There are quite a few flights that were unable to be covered by the 3 ATRs, so I wonder if some were leased at the time, but I am unable to confirm this. The planes are segregated, but again they do represent a decent portion of the flights. Links to the OSP ATR-72 and FAIB 737-400 repaints are included. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. | Cyprus Airways 1998 AI Flightplans |

Cyprus Airways had an impressive route network in 1998, however, the vast majority of destinations are served only 1-2x weekly. Still, even with a small fleet, you'll see Cyprus Airways all over Europe and the Middle East, and even in Syria at the time! The airline routed many flights through both PFO and LCA, so there are dozens of weekly flights on the short hop between the two airports. Cyprus Airways was also rather unique at the time by choosing to serve multiple airports in metropolitan areas. For example, in London, Cyprus served LGW, LHR, and STN. In Milan, Cyprus served both MXP and LIN. Cyprus Airways was only operating the A310-200 and A320-200 with no livery variations. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Ryan ST-A by A1R Design Bureau. It shows Ryan ST-M VH-AWG. This aircraft was built in San Diego with c/n 459 in 1940, and shipped to the Netherlands East Indies, arriving there in January 1941. There it joined the Royal Netherlands Naval Aviation Service as S-23. In February 1942, together with the other Dutch Ryans, it was shipped to Ausralia, where it joined the RAAF as A50-11. It served with different RAAF training units until 1945, when it demobbed and sold, becoming VH-AGD. In 1948 it went to the Newcastle Aero Club in NSW. In 1956 it was sold to an owner in Victoria. In 1967 it bwas damged in an emergency landing near Mildura and tyhe wreackage was stored. In 1995, it was purchased as a restauration project by Graham Hosking and in 2000 it made its first post restoration flight, now registered VH-AWG, and painted in the original Dutch scheme as S-23. It is still airworthy and based in Victoria. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

In 1945 this little known (and probably unheard of) Southampton engineering works announced the existence of their CONCORDIA medium range 10 seat 'feeder liner' project which put it directly head to head in the same market as the DH104 Dove, the prototype of which had already flown.
The advertising publicity of the day described a very desirable, luxurious aircraft with a 1200 mile range. Designed as a DH89A Dragon Rapide replacement, as with the Dove, the operating costs would prove to be at least twice as high but an attractive modern metal airliner with passenger appeal was on offer!
In 1947 the first two airframes had been completed and were flying. In addition a production line of six aircraft had been laid down. These included c/n 3 for the Nawab of Bhopal (G-AKBF/VT-CQT) and two for British European Airways. Unfortunately, due to an inadequate market, by the end of the year all work was suspended and the incomplete airframes were scrapped.
