Consolidated PBY-5A (C-FCRR) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft PBY Catalina for FSX. It is shown here as C-FCRR, with Air France colors. Built by Boeing of Canada at Vancouver, it became RCAF Canso 9767 on March 4, 1943, and was allocated to Squadron 162, coded S, at Reykjavik, Iceland. In 1944, piloted by Flying Officers Thomas Charles Cooke and Eric Walter Wiskin, 9767 sank the German U-boat U-342 off the coast of Iceland on April 17. The amphibian was removed from the military service on April 1, 1946. The same year it was sold to Canadian Pacific Airlines, registered CF-CRR and assigned fleet number 233 (later 933), it was operated until 1959, thereafter by Northland Airlines (1960-1968), Midwest Airlines (1969-1970), and Ilford Riverton until 1973. The registration was changed to C-FCRR when Avalon Aviation acquired it as a water bomber in 1977, listed as Tanker number 791. In 1995 the aircraft was bought by Powell Eorp. Of Parry Sound, Ontario, subsequently it was owned by the Canadian Air Legend. The French pilot Franklin Devaux bought C-FCRR in 1995 and converted it to a flying television studio, it was based at Le Bourget, Paris, France. During 1996 C-FCRR was the star of monthly French television programme Operation Okavango, while in September 1998 it was the eye catcher of the three-week Champs-Elysees (Paris) static air show. The following October the aircraft started an 8,078 mls (13,000 km) trip to Chile via Dakar (Senegal) and Natal (Brazil) to commemorate early Air France South Atlantic mail service, returning to France in June 1999. On January 19, 2002 the aircraft was stored at Orly Airport, Paris, and has not flown since. Its Canadian registration was cancelled on October 7, 2005. At present it seems to be registered as N9767, and in airworthy condition again. Here's a youtube movie on this aircraft: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6jyzV8Gawc. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Aerosoft.

Captain Sim B767-II Varig Airlines PP-VOI Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Enclosed is a Varig (PP-VOI) repaint for the Captain Sim B767-II with the GE Expansion. This repaint was built in P3D v5.2. This particular aircraft, PP-VOI (SN 24752), is a GE CF6-80C2B6 powered variant and was delivered new from Boeing to Varig (Viação Aérea Rio-Grandense) Airlines on December 12, 1989. The relatively new ETOPS-120 certification was first awarded for TWA's B762's in May 1985 with ETOPS-180 certification for GE equipped B767's approved in 1989 through the demonstrated reliability and the continued confidence from the design of this long haul, wide bodied, twin engined aircraft. PP-VOI was the first of sixteen B767-300's delivered that, along with the new fleet of MD11's, were intended to support Varig's long haul network and replace the aging, expensive, and limited numbers B747-300 fleet, with plans of further route expansion. She was adorned from delivery with the "classic/retro" paint scheme seen here, which was prominent for Varig Airlines between 1961 and 1996. VOI served both scheduled and chartered North American, South American and Trans-Atlantic International Routes in this livery from Varig's bases in Rio de Janeiro (SBGL) and Sao Paulo (SBGR) for almost a dozen years before being repainted in the "newer" 1996 design scheme. This particular airframe continued to serve Varig Airlines (once Brazil's Flag Carrier) until that airline's unfortunate split/financial restructuring into Flex Linhas Aéreas and Gol Airlines in 2006, continuing to fly charter routes for Flex until 2010. Between 2010 and 2015, this airframe went on to be leased to Business Air Thailand continuing to fly passenger charter revenue flights under registration HS-BIC. As of December 2021, this particular airframe continues to fly freight (an ERBDSF conversion) since 2016 for Kalitta Airways under contract to DHL as registration N761CK. Hope you enjoy the photos and the brief history of this particular B767-341ER! Note: This repaint was completed for the CS B767-II with the GE Expansion.

Airstrips of the Falkland Islands Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Inspired by Jim Keir's Falkland Islands mesh, coastlines and landclass, herewith a couple of dozen little strips from around the area, to give the opportunity to generate a bit of GA AI (and possibly a few scheduled flights) in an otherwise relatively ignored area in the South Atlantic. Please do note, other than Stanley, most of these airstrips are just that, a cleared strip of land in an otherwise empty landscape, (just as they are in real life), simply to provide a variety of destinations for the occasional aircraft to or from Stanley. Most of the airfield locations are listed on WikiPedia and the layout confirmed using on-line satellite imagery. Other than the two main airports, none of these airstrips seem to have "official" ICAO codes, so I've generated a selection of alpha-numeric codes in the SF0* configuration, (as Stanley Airport has the ICAO code of SFAL), so the FS9 AI engine has some codes to work with and the airfields can be found on the map. Hopefully these pseudo-codes won't clash with anything else. As with my other sceneries, the files for each airstrip can be easily identified by the ICAO code, even if the airfield names vary slightly, so you can pick and choose and mix and match to suit any sceneries you already have, should you so wish. There is no requirement for any other download. Each airstrip will exist as a stand-alone entity should you only want a few of them. Having said that, Paul Denton's AFCAD and scenery for EGYP Mount Pleasant (available on AVSIM and possibly elsewhere) might be considered a worthwhile addition, especially if you want to see the twice-weekly scheduled RAF flights from Brize Norton (via Ascension Island), and the Saturday LATAM flight from Chile. Suitable AFCADs for EGVN Brize Norton and SCCI Punta Arenas may also be required. Appropriate traffic files and aircraft/texture suggestions are provided. Please read the remainder of this "blurb" in the included text file, there may be a couple of details of interest.

Procedures for the LevelD Boeing 767-300 Download

File Description:
English: This file is a PDF with a german / english manual with procedures, to bring the Level-D 767 from, "Cold'n'Dark" into the air. The FMC programming, loading and fueling isn't described, therefor I advise the great PMDG 737 / 747 Tutorials of Jens-Albert Schenk. The FMCs of the Boeing 767 are looking alike them from the 737 or 747! Who can handle with 737s or 747s FMC, can handle the 767s FMC too. These Procedures contain everything, the pilot has to do, but not all control-tasks. That means, U can find every Switch, U have to push numbered in the corrosponding panel, that U can proserously get from "Cold'n'Dark" into "After Takeoff" I Don't made any description for the Procedures from "Climb and Cruise" until "Secure", because there are essentially used the same switches. In addendum can U find a 2D-Picture of the Lightpanel with a description and real airline checklists. Please read the provided english-manual of the levelD 767!!

RandomCockpitB747 Download

File Description:
This program is written explicitly for PMDG's B747-400F, however I expect it will work with their plain B747-400 (however - at least as of now - you will probably miss a few items at the "Randomizer Settings"). With their B747-400 and later B747-400F, PMDG took a huge step toward making the experience of flying a B747-400 as real is possible; at least to the degree that is possible in the confined space of MSFS. There is room for little improvement, however there is a "littel room" still. Doing the preparation/initial check of the cockpit is normally a "dull no-brainer" since every knob is where you left it from your last flight (or at least as it was saved in the "Flight" and/or "Panel State"). Using this program you can randomize your cockpit, so you will have to pay attention to your preparation/initial check since you no longer knows the state of your cold and dark cockpit.

NumberPad Control for FSX and P3D Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
NpC4FSX&P3D (NumberPadControl for FSX and P3D) is a more efficient (and more convenient to set up) version of a similar NpC program that I wrote a few years ago and which to my surprise PC Pilot magazine included on their 100th Anniversary edition Freeware CD. With NpC4FSX&P3D you assign keys to functions like Com, Nav, Heading, Course, Altitude, VS, Autopilot functions, etc., and then can enter the associated values (like frequencies or headings) just by typing on the keyboard’s numberpad instead of fiddling with elusive mouse click spots. NpC4FSX&P3D is programmed primarily for aircraft with avionics that were developed within standard FSX programming guidelines but also supports third party add- on aircraft such as the Flysimware L35A and MU2, PMDG 737NGX / B777, Flight1 King Air B200, A2A Cherokee 180, and also works with GPS units like the GTN750. Setup manual included. A registered (payware) copy of FSUIPC is required.

Project EL AL - Boeing 737-800 For NGXu (4X-EKU) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Project EL AL's Boeing 737-800 package for PMDG 737 NGXu, made for Prepar3Dv4.5. This package includes 4X-EKU, named "Raanana", in EL AL's revised Dreamliner-style color scheme and features a complete, remastered paint from scratch made regardless of any other previous packages released of this aircraft for older addons. This painting was made possible using the original blueprints drawn for EL AL for the real-life aircraft; in addition to hundreds of Ultra High-Res photos taken by inside sources and others, including high quality closeup images and other material not to be found in external sources such as Airliners.net, Jetphotos.net, etc. Each aircraft uploaded in this package has been uploaded with the specific cockpit configuration present in the real aircraft alongside an enhanced cockpit environment aiming to simulate the specific aircraft in real life. The rest of the fleet, including special additions for this livery can be found separately in AVSIM. Happy landings!
