McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom F.3 (Version 2). This is one of the most iconic military aircraft of all time, ushering in the modern age of air combat; from Asia to the Middle East; and many of the 5,057 manufactured airframes are still in active use today, after over five decades of excellent service. This model set is what I originally envisioned when I undertook the modification of Nick Black's F-4E source files. Numerous changes are listed in the extensive documentation with this file. This file contains models representing use of this aircraft by the RAF's No. 74 Squadron, including full early/late squadron serial repaints. This package has 16 loadout variants and 30 repaints. This version 2 of this aircraft fixes a couple of key things I left out in the original release.. I did not do this alone by any means, and all contributors that I can think of are listed in the documentation. This is the complete aircraft, with all main FS textures and effects included. Original FSDS source and paint kit by Nick Black; FDE by Mike MacIntyre, all model/paint kit modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.

This is a repaint for the Aerosoft F-16 depicting the 2024 Viper Demo aircraft 91-0395 from the 55th FS, Shaw AFB, in the "Haveglass 5" paint scheme. I've called this repaint "v2.0" because I've corrected and error I noticed recently. The tailband on the jet is supposed to be BLUE/white checkered, not BLACK/white as I painted it on the previous version(...oops!), so I fixed that. I also noticed that the missile rails on the "real" jet are grey, not Haveglass, and that the pylons and tanks are also grey. So for this version I painted the missile rails grey, BUT I painted the pylons and tanks in both Grey AND Haveglass, so you can choose which "color" appear on the jet (I put Haveglass Pylons w Grey tanks on to start for a "demo") PLUS, since the first version, I upgraded/repainted both the INERT and LIVE weapon textures so they look more realistic, so I included those with this jet! As a BONUS, I also created Conformal Fuel Tanks textures, so you can use these textures with that model, too!

This scenery covers the southwestern part of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. From the air
you can see all the "stairs" from the Pink Cliffs of Bryce Canyon in the north down to the Grey Cliffs,
the White Cliffs and the Vermillion Cliffs just north of Kanab and then the Chocolate Cliffs further south.
Nothwest of Kanab you can fly above beautiful Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park which features coral-hued
sand dunes located beside red sandstone cliffs. These dunes consist of sand that formed thru erosion of
pink colored Navajo Sandstone surrounding the park and was deposited by wind. To explore the scenery depart
from Kanab Airport (KKNB).

On 13 December 1966 the Dutch charter company Martinair Holland (MAC), proud owner of a fleet of four Douglas C-47, a Douglas C-54B, two Convair 640, and four Douglas DC-7C aircraft, bought a Douglas DC-6A registered PH-MAM. The DC-6A, which at one time belonged to KLM and could transport 11 tons payload or 97 passengers, was aquired in order to replace the smaller C-54B PH-MAE. It was a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From the late October 1968 till the beginning of January 1970, PH-MAM flew on the Biafra airlift from the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf of the Dutch Red Cross. Having returned from this mission, the aircraft was overhauled and used by Martinair for one more year, before being sold to Yugoslavia. These are textures only. You will need California Classic's FS2004/FSX Douglas DC-6B CB-16 Base Pack, DC-6A CB-17 Base Pack and DC-6A CB-16 Base Pack (available at http://www.calclassic.com/dc6b.htm). Grande Prairie is at 2,195 feet asl, 65 miles southeast of Dawsons Creek, 90 miles southwest of Peace River and around 60 miles east of the Rockies. The town has a population of 55,000 and growing. The airport is just to the west of the town and was originally a military base, built during WW2. The two runways are 07-25 and 11-29 and when one is the active runway then the other is used as a taxiway. AI in FS9 doesn't like this, and just stops at the first hold short without ever reaching the active runway. I have found a way to overcome this and AI will now use taxiway A and whichever runway is inactive to feed to and from both ends of the active runway. The vertical red tanks are for de-icing fluid; de-icing is carried out before take-off in the winter. The industrial area to the southeast is now larger than I have made it, but I kept it to this minimum size to keep frame rates down. All the buildings are modeled specifically for CYQU. The AI includes Westjet, Air Canada Jazz, and others as listed. The GA AI uses only FS9 standard aircraft.
