File Description:
The town of Barrow is in the far north of Alaska, and these are coastal villages or radar installations to the west, south, and now east of Barrow. There will be further additions. Nuiqsut is a mainly Inuit community on the west side of the Colville River, around 20 miles south of the coast, and with a slowly declining population of around 420 or so. The airfield is just south of the town and has a gravel runway 5,000 feet long and aligned 04-22 in FS9. The airfield is the only year-round contact route to the rest of the world, though there are plans for a permanent road. The AI includes daily passenger flights early and late in the day, cargo deliveries, and some GA. It seems that the only photos I had of the airport were either of the old building or were not of Nuiqsut at all. The only pic I have seen (recently, which is why I now have doubts) of the new building is insufficient to model it, so I am sticking with the old or maybe incorrect version.

File Description:
The town of Barrow is in the far north of Alaska, and these are coastal villages or radar installations to the west, south, and east of Barrow on the North Slope. There will be further additions. Kivalina is a small village (population around 350) midway in the 150 mile gap between Point Hope to the north and Kotzebue to the south. The village is on a spit of land that is growing smaller and smaller with every year of erosion and the rise of sea level. The runway is 3,500 feet of gravel aligned 12-30 to the north of the village on the same spit. It was expected that 2025 would see the end of both village and runway, and possibly also the natural harbour that is the reason for the village's location. The modified width of the spit shown here is halved from the original FS9, and erosion has continued, enough that a sea defence wall has now been built. The AI has a daily flight by an ERA Alaska Cessna 208B, and some GA; read the note about the 208 to be downloaded and/or properly installed.

| Italian Air Force Lockeed P-38L |

File Description:
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was one of the most prominent fighters throughout WWII in both major theaters of operation. P-38s scored some of the first victories in the Pacific Theater. In Europe, they often provided high-altitude long range escorts for bombers. The Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Italiana) received from U.S.A.A.F., after the war's end, several used P-38 in various version (L / J / F-5), but many aircrafts were bought as 'metal' from U.S.A.A.F's scraps by A.M.I. and 'heroically' restored in flight condition by Italian technicians. Textures only for a P-38L, in 'A.M.I. 3rd Stormo' livery for payware 'Sky Unlimited Lockheed Aircraft P38 Vol.1'. Repaint by Manuele Villa.

| 'Lulu' and Music for the Grumman Goose Bali Hai |

File Description:
This package will put Lulu, of the Grumman Duck fame, onto the dash of your Grumman Goose. It also adds the music panel, also from the Duck, into your cockpit as well. Included are eight selections of oldies music appropriate for flying around the Carribean or South Pacific. Duck Gauges by Bill Morad. Switch gauges by Robert Clark.
Lulu is the finishing touch for your island-hopper. It has been configured for use with the Grumman Goose instrument panel by Dorian Davis and J.L. Stubbs which can be downloaded from AVSIM.com, filename: goose_panel.zip It can be used with other panels but it will most likely require that you have some basic knowledge in reconfiguring your panel.cfg file. Scenery add-on for Vernon Regional Airport (CYVK) - Vernon, B.C.; Canada. Vernon Regional boasts over 120,000 square feet of land and has become the center for aviation manufacturing and maintenance in the Pacific Northwest. This add-ons places the Vernon Flying Club building, plus a number of hangars on the airport grounds. Includes AFCAD file to add aircraft parking. Scenery was designed to reflect the current placement of buildings at CYVK within the limitations of the flight simulator terrain. Consideration was also given to system effects and framerates. This package requires the NovaSim Gold textures (Not included-directions provided in ReadMe file). This update fixes the missing BGL problem. Full Update- not a patched version.

| Douglas C-47 (N777YA) Bush Air Cargo |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of DC-3C N777YA, which is flying with Bush Air Cargo from Anchorage, Alaska. Originally built in 1944 (c/n 25634), it first flew with the USAAF (43-48373), before serving with the US Navy (17259). In 1946 it was registered with Wien Alaska Airlines as NC21769 and then saw service with Aero Retardent Inc. as N777DG, Pacific Galactic as N777PG and finally with Woods Air Service as N777YA before being sold to its present owner. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

File Description:
This is a repaint of Justflight's excellent British Aerospace 146 Professional in the colours of former Swiss regional carrier Crossair. This -200 series example, c/n E2073, started life in the US with Pacific Southwest Airlines and USAir before joining Crossair in August 1990 as HB-IXD. Fondly referred to in service as the 'Jumbolino' on account of its four-engined layout, the type was used on short-haul services from Basel, Zurich, Geneva, Bern and Lugano to destinations across Europe. This particular aircraft was returned to British Aerospace in 1993 and went on to operate with carriers in Ireland, Australia and Bulgaria. Repaint by Craig West, using the paint kit kindly supplied by Justflight.

| P-51C Mustang "Betty Jane" |

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the SkyUnlimited Mustang Vol.1 release. This aircraft, owned by Max Chapman and based in Kissimme, Florida, started as a large collection of P-51B/C parts. In 2000 the restoration began with Pacific Fighters of Idaho completing the work in May of 2004 when it then flew for the first time. The aircraft has been given the serial number 42-103293 and registered N251MX. The most recent paint scheme and the scheme featured in this repaint is of the 31st Fighter Group's commander Charles McCorkle's airplane, "Betty Jane". The aircraft is finished very authentically, with a bare metal fuselage and filled, sanded and painted wings. "Betty Jane" won "Best P-51" at EAA Oshkosh in 2004.

| TEAL - Auckland to Chatham Island - November 1952 |

File Description:
In the 1950's TEAL were operating a flying-boat service to Chatham Island, out to the east of New Zealand in the South Pacific.
This flight is set in November 1952 and takes you from the TEAL base in Mechanic's Bay, Auckland, to the island.
Your navigation is by NDB's across the north island of New Zealand and then by dead-reckoning until within radio distance of the NDB on Chatham Island.
Your aircraft is the Short Solent IV and, if you do not have this aircraft in your FSim library, look for it under Jens Kristensen and/or Short.
Enjoy the flight and keep an eye out for a further TEAL episode in TEAL's history when I publish the Coral Route, currently being flight-tested.

Perfect for Bush operations in the Pacific Northwest or just about anywhere that
offers uninproved straight stretches of land. Although the Rilo Bush aircraft is
just a Microsoft Flightsim creation ... and not one of the tried and true "real
World" aircraft Manufatucres ... a few decades ago ... who had heard of Found
Aircraft of Canada and Aviat ... and a number of other REAL WORLD Companies that have
come upon the aviation scene and I think will be around for a while, producing
