Piaggio P-166DL3 SEM Patrol Version Download

File Description:
Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The seventh of the coming P-166 aircraft series. I'm going to built the whole family of these graceful twins. The Piaggio P-166A is a light small twin. An Exotic two-engined prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. The P-166DL3 is the actual production version of a plane that firt flew in 1957, now with turboprop engines, new avionics, increased fuel capacity, and completly new hydraulic and electric system. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light anphibian, which the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tailplanes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957, and the DL3 is dated 1976. The APH version (Aero-PHotograammetric) was originally built featuring a flat bottom with opening holes for cameras and orher devices, planning to use the unit for logistic squads, that never formed. So the APH internal features were generally limited to Military high density transport, paratrooper transport, or Cargo. Units fitted with APH original projected photogrammetric capibilities are very rare. he SEM version can be esily identified by the big sonar under the nose, the FLIR under the left wing and a search light on the right wing. It' a maritime antismuggling patrol aircraft, and it's used by the italian Cost guard and "guardia Di Finanza (Finance Guard). The aircraft waits to be repalced by a new version, the P-166DP-1, with PT-6A engines. This model is 740 Kbs with c.a. 21000 polygons in c.a.160 assemblies. Features Clickable Dynamic Photoreal VC with non-planar throttle quadrant. New here is the photoreal panel. Detailed internals.

C-5M Super Galaxy Download

File Description:
All former versions of the C-5 have completed the conversion to C-5M, to date. They include more efficient engines with more power, a glass cockpit, longer range and heavier lift capabilities. Other than those aspects, they look the same as before. VERY BIG!!! She is the largest cargo aircraft operated by the U.S. Air Force and several other countries who have purchased her. I suggest reading about this aircraft on-line, and watching a few You Tube videos before your first flight, but do as you wish. She is very easy to fly, and all C-5M pilots agree with this statement. This version is based at Dover AFB, and the callsign is real. The refurbished aspects of this FSX model include extremely realistic engine/aerodynamics as well as payload distribution. The landing gear have also been corrected for realism. What this plane does in the simulator is what it does realistically. The panel is close to real, but takes time to understand and use properly. The sounds used are very realistic, so no need to change that unless you feel the need to do so. Flying her is pretty easy. If you are a Real World C-5 Pilot, you will find this version is very accurate. Read the text document enclosed entitled "Readmenow" after unzipping the file. Original Model by: Kazunori Ito; Panel by: Philippe Wallert; Sound by: Emil Serafino; Engine/Aerodynamic modifications and effects by: Douglas E. Trapp, [email protected] May 2018 ... Hellenic Air Force, Lockheed F-104 Starfighter Download

File Description:
Hellenic Air Force F-104 textures for the ALPHASIM F-104 payware model. The F-104 has gained many 'nick-names' through-out its long career in many air forces around the world. Some of these include 'Widow Maker', 'Manned Missile', and 'Flying Coffin'!

The Hellenic Air Force had a very good track record with this aircraft. Greece originally received 45 F-104Gs and 6 TF-104Gs under the US MAP (Military Assistance Program) in 1964. In 1972 used planes started to be bought with nine more F-104Gs and one TF-104G aircraft acquired from Spain, ten more F-104Gs from the Netherlands in 1982. The largest purchase came when a further thirty eight F-104Gs, twenty two RF-104Gs and twenty TF-104Gs were bought from West Germany. The West German planes were acquired mainly between 1981 and 1988. With one hundred second hand planes, some were mothballed and used as spare parts. Originally flown with just the natural metal finish they eventually were given a camouflage 3 color paint scheme on top of olive drab / dark green / sand, the bottom was a light grey. These planes were flown by two Greek squadrons, the first being 335 Mira from the 114 Pterix (Wing) based at Tanagra AB. The second was 336 Mira, also based at Tanagra AB at the time. December 21st 1966 saw 336 Mira move to a new base at 116 Pterix at Araxos AB.

The F-104 went on in the Hellenic Air Force service until 1993 when 336 "Olympus" Mira Diokseos Bombardismou (Fighter-Bomber Squadron) was deactivated March 31.

North American P-51D 353rd FG (YJ-L) "Willit Run?" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of P-51D-10-NA 44-14771 YJ-L "Willit Run?" which flew with the 351st FS, 353rd FG from Raydon in the UK, with Maj Frederick LeFebre as its regular pilot. The P-51 is named “Willit Run?”, but the nose art on this plane is not talking about this particular aircraft or any P-51 for that matter. It’s an inside joke of WWII vintage. During WWII, as in every big war, private industry is called upon to produce war goods rather than civilian goods – “guns vs. butter”. Henry Ford took on a huge project to contract-build Consolidated B-24 Liberator bombers in a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to be built on a farm which Henry Ford owned at Willow Run near Detroit. The facility was to be a prime example of Roosevelt’s “Arsenal of Democracy”, conceived and built on an unprecedented scale. Begun in April, 1941, it was the largest enclosed room in the world, with 3.5 million square feet. But Willow Run had a long and troubled construction and start-up time. So long and troubled a start-up, that after two years with little results the public became disillusioned with the project and derisively nicknamed the plant “Willit Run?”. Ford persevered however, and Willow Run finally hit its stride, eventually producing at the prodigious rate of 650 B-24 bombers per month by August, 1944. At war’s end, Willow Run had produced about half of the 18,000 B-24's which saw service in the war. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.

2 Fronson Hangars Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This model was created to be placed in FSX as airport scenery using Airport Design Editor. I created it for my own use when i was re-creating RNAS HMS Nuthatch which was a Naval Airstation near Anthorn on the Solway Coast in Cumberland (now Cumbria), United Kingdom. History of RNAS HMS Nuthatch... Work began on building an airfield at Anthorn for the Fleet Air Arm in late 1943, with Royal Naval Air Station Anthorn, or HMS Nuthatch opening on 7 September 1944, with three tarmac runways. It was the base of No. 1 Aircraft Receipt and Despatch Unit (No. 1 ARDU), which had the job of receiving aircraft fresh from manufacturers, modifying them to Service standards and despatching them to operational squadrons, with the unit specialising in the Vought F4U Corsair. No. 1 ARDU continued to operate from Anthorn following the end of the Second World War, while a number of Fleet Air Arm Squadrons were also based at the airfield in the immediate post war years. The airbase shut down in March 1958. The Airfield is now the site of a VLF/LF transmitter used for transmitting orders to Submarines, it is also home to three atomic clocks for transmitting Britains time signal transmissions. None of the Hangars (11 Pentad and 22 Fromson) survive at the site but their concrete standings are still visable. Depicted here are representations of the Fromson type hangers created from dimensions in a 1947 survey. I created the model using Google Sketchup and converted it for use in FSX using Model ConverterX. This is my 1st attempt at scenery creation and is therefore pretty basic. There are no known issues and it works fine in FSX.

YNUL Nullagine, Western Australia Download

File Description:
YNUL Nullagine - Shire of East Pilbara with added ORBX textures. Nullagine is serviced by a gravel airstrip. This facility provides a vital air link. RFDS, Police, and local charter operators all rely on this airstrip for the provision of vital services to the communities. Nullagine is an old goldrush town in Western Australia's Pilbara region. It is located on the Nullagine River 296 km south-east of Port Hedland and 1,364 km north-north-east of Perth on the old Great Northern Highway. The town originated from gold being discovered in the area in 1886 by a prospector, N.W. Cooke. The population increased sharply as a result and by the mid 1890s the community wanted to have a town declared. Lots were surveyed and released in 1897 and the state government gazetted the town in 1899. Nullagine comes from the Aboriginal name of a nearby river, the Ngullagine river; the meaning of the word is unknown. Besides gold other minerals were mined in the area including diamonds and other gemstones. Between 1895 and 1914 the town boomed and contained a number of general stores, three hotels, eight stamp mills and a population of over 3,000. Its population was 1,500 prior to World War II. Now, with the decline of gold mining, only about 200 remain. However the town still attracts fossickers and prospectors who visit the surrounding area, which is particularly rich in minerals such as agate, asbestos, antimony, beryl, chalcedony, copper, jade, jasper, manganese, tiger eye and wolfram. The town is also the place of the Yirrangadji Aboriginal Community. The Martu people make up the bulk of this population. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

ScotFlight AFCADs and Flightplans V1.0 Download

File Description:
AFCADs, flightplans and aircraft for the newly released ScotFlight commercial scenery by VisualFlight The newly released ScotFlight scenery by Visual Flight (www.visualflight.co.uk) is a beautiful rendition of the Scottish landscape and landmarks. It contains many new airports which were not included in the default FS2002 and I have had the pleasure of beta testing it for the last 4 months or so. My freeware add-on package is in 4 parts: 1) AFCAD files for all of the airfields and airports included in the ScotFlight scenery. This will allow the smaller airfields to appear on the FS2K2 GPS unit and all will be listed in the World/GOTO menu. 2) EditVoice files for the new airfields so you will hear the correct names on the radio. (optional) 3) General Aviation flightplans for all of the airports, which can be added using TTools v1.3.3 by Lee Swordy. 4) Scheduled airline flightplans for flights to/from Scottish airports and small islands. Including 99.9% COMPLETE UK flightplans for Eastern Airways and 15 (yes fifteen!) individual BAe Jetstream J41 models, courtesy of Tom Woods, to use as AI traffic on the Eastern Airways routes. Plus directions where to get other suitable aircraft for, ScotAirways, BA Loganair, EasyJet and Highland Airways. Many thanks to Tom for his hard work repainting all the registrations for the Eastern fleet! PLEASE READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! Anyone with the AFCAD and TTools programs by Lee Swordy should have no problem installing these files but, it needs care and attention to get them right. Special thanks to: Lee Swordy (AFCAD and TTools) Tom Woods (The Eastern Airways fleet) Daniel Parrot (For a great Eastern ERJ135 and ScotAirways ATR42) Mike Holland (GA Maker) Lars Møllebjerg (EditVoice) Iain Gallacher,Iain Murray and John Farrie of VisualFlight for their great scenery and approval of my add-on package.

Birmingham International Airport, Birmingham, Alabama (KBHM) Download

File Description:
An extremely accurate rendition of the KBHM airport with appropriate gate, cargo and general aviation parkin. I've decided to make it a habit to do airports that one doesn't really see much on FS. Everyone does 300 AFCADs of KORD and there's nothing wrong with that it's a great airport but I figured I didn't need to add another KORD or KLAX to the pile unless I'd be providing something the others lack and I can't seem to find it. So, again, I'll be continuing to do AFCADs I feel are lacking or unavailable or not done well. The BHM airport is definetely not a bustling international port of call and it only receives mainline service from a few carriers but it has a decent amount of traffic and I thought it would be good to represent the airport. Thankfully this time MS did a reasonably good job with terminal space and I was able to include every gate in the two concourses. The great BHM website made my job a breeze by indicating which airlines park at which specific gate(s). Every airline is exactly where they should be as is cargo. A ramp for you VFR general aviation buffs is also available. The only time you might notice some craziness is if you start your flight super early in the morning and you have traffic at 95% +. It seems MS doesn't really "turn" planes in a realistic manner so you end up having more planes parked at the gate in the early morning hours then would be there in real life if they adheared to real world turn around times. Nothing I can do about that. Hope you enjoy your virtual trips in and out of the Birmingham International Airport.

KNILM Douglas DC-3 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Re-upload. FS2004 KNILM Douglas DC-3. Before and after World War II KLM was a major European operator of the Douglas DC-3. The first DC-3 entered service with KLM in October 1936. This made KLM the first operator of the DC-3 in Europe. 22 others would join before Nazi-Germany invaded the Netherlands on 10 May 1940 and occupied the country for five dark years. The KLM DC-3's served destinations in Europe as well as the famous 'Indies-route' from Amsterdam to Batavia (Dutch East Indies; nowadays Jakarta, Indonesia). Those DC-3's present at Amsterdam-Schiphol, if not destroyed by bombs, were impounded by the Germans. Other DC-3's that happened to be elsewhere out of reach of the enemy found their way either to the Dutch East Indies where they served on the KNILM routes to various destinations in Far East Asia and Australia until the Japanese invasion in February 1942, or to England where they were leased by BOAC for the London (later Bristol) to Lisbon service. PH-ALP 'Pelikaan' ('Pelican') ended up in the Dutch East Indies, was bought by KNILM (Royal Netherlands Indies Airways) as PK-AFV. On her last flight on 3 March 1942 from Batavia to Broome, Australia, Japanese Zero fighters shot at PK-AFV and set her alight. The aircraft succesfully crash-landed on the beach at Carnon Bay, Australia. The repaint of PK-AFV is based on the templates Mark Beaumont created for the MAAM-SIM Douglas DC-3 (passenger version), which were based on Jan Visser's original textures. These are textures only. You will require MAAM-SIM's great donationware Douglas R4D/DC-3 package. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.
