Arecibo Observatory, Puerto Rico N18.20.39 W66.45.09 also known as the National Astronomy and Ionosphere Center,
National Center for Astronomy and the Ionosphere), is located about 15 km south-southwest of Arecibo, island of Puerto Rico.
It operates through Cornell University under a cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation (a US government agency). NAIC refers more specifically to the organization that directs both the observatory and the associated laboratories
and the offices of Cornell University. The observatory is equipped with a radio telescope consisting of a 305 meter diameter
single-aperture antenna, the largest in the world up to the entry into service, in September 2016, of the 500 meter FAST radio telescope, located in the province of Guizhou. in China (soon to be realized).
It is mainly used for three large research areas: radio astronomy, atmospheric physics (using both the radio telescope and the observatory Lidar function) and the radar observation of objects in the solar system.
The telescope received further international recognition in 1999, when it began collecting data for the SETI project.Important VFR point for approaching airport of Rafael Hernandez TJBQ and airport Eugenio Maria De Hostos TJMZ.

INITIAL NOTE: this is a FICTIONAL livery and does not represent any actual UPS Aircraft. In real life UPS uses only the 300's. They do not have any NG's in their fleet. This livery is to depict what UPS would probably use if they chose to upgrade their 737 feeder fleet. THat being said, I proudly present my upgrade to my prior UPSVAC dedication. I changed the livery to more fit the "feeder" scheme than the main fleet scheme. I also managed to paint a cargo door onto this particular model. These are 32 bit only. I **may** upload DXT3 versions later, but for now I will stick with quality. This bird has a registration - N922UP. Of course any novice painter can easily change that to their own preference. I dedicate this paint to be what UPS and/or UPSVAC would use if the real world UPS ever upgraded. This paint is the result of multiple requests. I consider this version a HUGE improvement over my last paint. The CFG has been arranged so that you may use both my versions, should you decide to keep the last varient as well. Full details in the readme. You must have the wonderful PMGD 737-600 model for this texture. Enjoy!!!!! :-)

**Revised March 20th 2012** After a lot of positive feedback from forum members, and some very constructive pointers and photos from Ryan (aka Tabs), I've revised the bumps to be a bit closer to a real-world appearance. So if you prefer a more exaggerated appearance (deeper lines, higher rivets) you may prefer the first set over this revision. A completely new set of spec files (for shine and reflection) and bump maps (for surface detail) to update the exterior of your PMDG 737-700 NGX. They can be used over any existing livery for the -700 model. The bump files are in 4096 res (default is 1024) so they will use more memory, but have no noticeable effect on performance on my low-end core2 duo system aside from a slightly longer loading time. The package includes two folders; one for the specular files and the other for the bump maps. Simply drop them into the aircraft texture of your choice and you're ready to fly. More detailed instructions for installation are included. The PMDG NGX base pack and 600/700 model expansion are required. Additional before and after photos are posted in the PMDG NGX support forum.

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger (Part 3). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic (and still-serving) Russian multi-role fighter. The MiG-23, with just over 5,000 built, was Russia's first production of a true multi-role aircraft with a beyond-visual-range air superiority role as its primary function. The aircraft was arguably the direct counterpart of the F-4 Phantom, although it carried about half of the ordnance load. Nevertheless, in capable hands and late versions, the Flogger has been and is a very potent adversary; having served in multiple conflicts in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The MiG-23 entered service in 1970, was eventually operated by 43 countries, and is still in service in 14 of them. An original 8-LOD model brings this aircraft to the flightsim world. This package contains the MiG-23ML and MiG-23P; with 10 models and 91 repaints. Included in that count is a small service pack for parts 1 and 2 of this project which fixes one texture glitch and adds three more operator countries, instructions are included in the documentation. | Minuteman II Missile |

File Description:
The Minuteman was Americas Third Operational ICBM System. During the Cuban Missile Crisis it was America's "Ace In The Hole". It has been operational at U.S. bases since 1962 reaching a peak of 1,000 missiles.
The Minuteman II program was economically crucial to the development of integrated circuits. It was the first mass-produced system to use a computer constructed from integrated circuits, and used most of the production of such circuits from 1962 through 1967. The other major customer of these circuits was the Apollo Guidance Computer, which had similar weight and ruggedness constraints.
The Orbiter version keeps up with the historical aspect of this horrible weapon. This add-on is created for historical purposes only, and we do not condone using Orbiter to simulate nuclear war. No active Minuteman II missiles currently exist today. The only way to see one now is at a museum or on display at various Air Force bases world wide. This add-on simulates the flight plan and package delivery of a real Minuteman II missile.
The warhead included in this add-on is from the Trinity package created by Dave Rowbothham. The warhead activates at about 4 minutes to impact. It arms at 2000 feet and detonation occurs at 1800 feet.

Nemeth/Milviz Bell UH-1C in Royal Netherlands Navy (Marines) liveries.
In the 60's the Royal Netherlands Navy purchased a number of Agusta license built Bell-204 (UH-1B) helicopters for SAR, ASW and light utility tasks.
This set of repaints resembles a "What if" Dutch version of the Bell UH-1C. What if the RNLN purchased a line of Bell UH-1C´s beside the fleet´s `Bravo´s in order to support the Dutch Royal Marines on deployment in the former Dutch New Guinea territories in the early sixties. With this line of helicopters
maintained in service at other Marines/occupied locations in that timeframe they would have been seen at Zanderij (former Dutch Surinam), Hato (Curacao)
and Valkenburg NAS, besides Biak, New Guinea. Though the paint/scematics are fictional, this is what they would have looked like;
Olive drab, with Royal Netherlands Navy registration and markings, but with the distinctive Marine Corps logo at the cockpit doors.
Some liveries have nose art, pointing back to the rich history of one of the oldest marine corps units in the world (since 1665).
You need the payware Nemeth Design Bell UH-1C/H package for FSX in order to use these repaints.

Fouga CM-170 Magister. The little Fouga Magister was one of the main primary jet trainer aircraft in Europe in the late 1950s through the 1980s. Over 1,000 were produced, mostly for European countries, but the aircraft were also heavily exported to Africa, Asia, and Central/South America. The Magister saw extensive combat service as a close support aircraft, and is credited with at least one aerial victory (over a DC-3). An 8-LOD model brings this small-but-mighty workhorse to the AI traffic world. This package is the CM-170 in both armed and unarmed variants; with eight models and 60 repaints covering 19 of the 24 known users. Some missing countries simply do not have either serial information or photographs; or in the case of Biafra, the aircraft were destroyed on the ground in combat before they were put in service. The Magister was used for several aerial demonstration teams, but this package concentrates on the operational use of the aircraft; and to that end I include a layered Photoshop template for the truly mad and talented out there (you know who you are). The ARX-5X (Concept 5) is a single-seat unlimited category aerobatic aircraft built around the 495c.i. 600hp Trace-Orenda OE600 V-8 aircraft engine and designed specifically for freestyle airshow type aerobatics.
Version 2 has a totally new airfile and flight dynamics - the plane can easily handle compulsory competition maneuvers as well as more advanced gyroscopic maneuvers such as lomcovaks and tumbles.
The ARX-5X cruises around 200kts, with a never-exceed speed of 240kts. This FSX native model contains animations, reflections, environment mapping, spec mapping and a full dynamic virutal cockpit. Although it is not a real aircraft it does have several real-world components such as the Chelton Fligh Systems EAU (engine airdata unit) display, and a Hartzell "scimitar" swept blade propeller.
This release is not a quick & dirty update simply "ported" into FSX, it is a full FSX rebuild by the original authors, compiled with XtoMDL and conforming the FSX SDK using dds textures and new modeling techniques for the best overall end-user performance. Includes 2 configs, 7 models, and 20 schemes with a custom smoke system and night time pyrotechnic effects. Aircraft, effects, and panel by Jason L. Terry and Mike VIvaldi.
