| PAKT - Ketchikan airport - Ketchikan, Alaska - USA |

File Description:
This AFCAD requires payware "Ultimate Terrain Alaska X"!! It will not work without it as it is built on the underlying terrain features and the included file "PAKT_AP.BGL" which has to be renamed or moved to a folder outside the FSX terrain environment. The original file included some errors which I tried to correct. This patch is published with permission.
Changes: The apron layout is corrected including now taxiway "C" leading to GA parking. The pavement has been changed to asphalt as it appears to be when taking aerial pictures as template. The runway got the proper overruns at both sides and the position of the ILS glideslope and localizer has been corrected as well as the DME. The layout of the airport building arrangement including the tower should be now closer to the real world and I added a working jetway. However, I used FSX default objects. As I was dependent on quite rare layout information I just tried to adjust the taxi paths and parking spots probably closer to the reality than before but I did not put any effort to name the parking spots like in real life nor did I take care for taxi signs (only the runway entries got such).

| Vision Airlines (RBY - Ruby) Flightplans - some 52-week and some "normal". |
|
File Description:
These are fictional flightplans for Vision Airlines (ex Vision Air) of North Las Vegas, USA. There are 2 sets of flightplans, each using a different part of the fleet to the other. One set are plans that operate on the 52-week concept - these contain charters that can be varied every week if you use Matthew Ministry's flightplan swapper routine. The other set fly fixed flights each week (in fact 2 planes fly 24-hour plans, canyon sightseeing) and also include Vision's Boeing fleet that fly military charters via Europe. You can use both sets to get the whole fleet, or either to get a flavour of Vision Airlines. If you want to use just 1 week's charters, you can get the whole fleet but the charters will repeat every week. These plans will add some Dorniers (228, 328TP and 328J) to North Las Vegas (KVGT) and points on Vision's scheduled network, plus the Houston-based 328Jets that fly to Alamogordo. If you use the 52-week system the rest of the fleet will fly charters almost nationwide, limited only by the real-world aircraft's range (so no Miami and no Boston, but KLAX, KPDX and KSEA). They will also operate into many smaller regional and municipal airports.

| Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter |
|
File Description:
Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter for classic AI Traffic. Derived from the B-29 bomber of WWII, the C-97 served for nearly thirty years as a military/civillian transport, aerial refueler, electronic warfare, and reconnaissance aircraft; with over 900 produced of all types for military use. This model set from Dee Waldron pays homage to the operational life of this important aircraft of military history, and allows you to add it into your classic AI traffic world. This package has two main aircraft, the C-97 and the KC-97. Between them, there are a total of eight models and fourteen texture sets, representing all of the versions of this aircraft I could research. Dee did the original KC-97G/L models, and I added my limited FSDS talent to make the rest. Special thanks to Dee for allowing me to utilize his models for this project, and equal thanks to Tom Gibson of California Classic for giving them to me again when I accidentally deleted them; and for a lot of advice from both of these giants of the hobby. This is a LOD6 model, for FPS economy. Base model and original textures by Dee Waldron; model tweaks, Photoshop paint kit and all included texture repaints by Michael Pearson.

| Aeroflot Russian Airlines Fleet Pack 5 |
|
File Description:
Aeroflot began in March 1923 as Dobrolet with a mixed fleet of De Havilland, Vickers, Junkers and other aircraft. Dobrolet merged into Dobroflot in 1929 and flew all services within Russia. By 1932 the airline was called Aeroflot. After the second world war international sevices began. At one stage Aeroflot had a massive fleet of over 7,500 aircraft although this fleet was pretty much ALL the civilian aircraft in the former Soviet Union. Aeroflot began the world's first sustained jet airline service using Tupolev Tu-104 'Camel' jets (developed from the Tu-16 'Badger' bomber) on an extensive internal route network from the summer of 1955. The Tu-104 saw service until the mid-1970s. After the breakup of the Soviet Union Aeroflot broke up into lots of smaller carriers and became known as Aerflot - Russian International Airlines. Aeroflot began using leased Boeing 767s and 737-400s alongside the older soviet types and with a revised livery. The Russian flag replaced the Red Flag. Airline history supplied by http://airlines.afriqonline.com. The fifth release contains the Aeroflot ANTK Tupolev TU-154M aircraft. Contents of the packs include only textures. Aircraft model is by PAI and can be obtained at the associated sites. These packages support MRAI fightplans for WI04. Repaints are by Frank Bass.

File Description:
Thrust SCC (speed of sound car) X-Plane 6.40
Originally developed for x-plane 5, now updated to 6.40. The whole idea of this vehicle is to break the sound barrier without taking off. In 1997 the British in a Richard Noble car driven by Andy Green set a new unlimited Land Speed Record and officially broke the sound barrier on land for the first time with a record speed of 763.035 (Mach 1.0175). Two runs were made. The first was 759.333 MPH, at Mach 1.015. The all-important backup run was made within the hour, at 766.609 MPH, which is Mach 1.020. A goal that many among us had thought unattainable has been reached. And now, if you want to set a new world unlimited land speed record, you're going to have to break the sound barrier first. For more on the LSR see my web page . http://members.rogers.com/appster.. This is a take off of the British car that did the job with the help of 2 F4 Phantom jet engines. Find a flat piece of land and this car can do as much as mach 1.4 or 1.6. The trick is to get stopped before you run out of real estate.

Images related to this file:
File Description:
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 Fishbed (Part 8). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this iconic aircraft of modern military history. With over 15,000 airframes of all types, including license-manufacture, the MiG-21 is the second-highest produced jet fighter of all time (next to the MiG-15 at 18,000+); and is the highest-produced jet fighter in the post-1960 'missile' age.
The model is an 8-LOD model, with quite a bit of XML animation and effects. This aircraft has been used operationally by 53 countries across fifty years, with extensive combat experience world-wide, and hundreds are still in service to this day.
Part 8 is dedicated to Chengdu and Guizhou-built J-7 Skybolt aircraft for PLAAF use. Variants included are the J-7I, J-7II, J-7III, J-7E, J-7G, and JJ-7. With loadout options, there are a total of 25 models and 25 paints in this package. Additionally, I threw in the paint kits with this final part, they are usable with either part 7 or part 8 models. Multiple credits are given in the documentation for everybody who pitched in to help on this one. Base model, paint kit, and textures by Michael Pearson.

| YTTI Troughton Island, Western Australia |
|
File Description:
YTTI Troughton Island - ShoreAir operates Troughton Island airstrip as an alternate to Mungalalu-Truscott. It has a 980m x 30m unsealed runway. Troughton Island sits 6 metres above sea level on a natural reef. Troughton is managed by two people who spend one month at a time on the island. During that time they are almost completely isolated from the outside world. Although they are isolated they are not alone; previous occupants of the island brought in quails and children's pythons that were once pets that escaped their cages during a cyclone. Now there is a healthy population of snakes living off the quails. Today Troughton Island is maintained as an emergency landing area for aircraft that are unable to reach Truscott. It also serves as a landing area if Truscott is inaccessible due to weather conditions. The Bureau of Meteorology has a weather station on Troughton island. Mungalalu-Truscott aerodrome supports all the FPSO (floating production storage and offloading facility) operations in the WA and NT waters of the Timor Sea, while the alternate aerodrome at Troughton Island is 20 nautical miles north of the main air route to Timor Sea facilities. | Basler BT-67 repaint textures for Royal Thai Air Force 46-158 in a subdued bluish-gray livery |

File Description:
FSX Basler BT-67 repaint textures for the real world Royal Thai Air Force 46-158.
For the wonderful Jahn-Fuernkaess-Metzger-Naegele BT-67, which you must
have previously installed in FSX. Having worn at least three different
liveries between 2004 and 2010 while in service with the Royal Thai Air Force,
this subdued dark bluish-gray version of 46-158 dates back to Aug. 26, 2004,
the day the photo that this repaint was based on was taken. Although painted
as close to the photograph's colors as my previous eye surgeries allow me to
perceive, I'm tending to believe that the aircraft is actually more gray than blue.
Anyway, the photo can be seen at Airliners.net by entering the photographer's
name, Sakpinit Promthep, into their search engine, so you be the judge! Rumor has it that this
airframe currently resides in pieces in a hangar at Wittman Regional in Oshkosh,
Wisconsin, and now affectionately goes by the nickname "44 mag", although I
think I'd have to see that with my own eyes to believe it! Includes engine
exhaust smoke coordinates for all four exhaust stacks for those of you who like
smokey engines. Screenshots enclosed. Easy installation. By Tom Tiedman
