Crossing North America Flight Adventures-Package 1 Download

File Description:
Inspired by Michael Doherty (Difficult & Dangerous Approaches) and David Dossiere (Hopping Round the World) and their flight adventures, I have put together a series of flight plan-adventures where the aircraft used are all available as freeware. A file locator is included with each package so that you can easily find and download the aircraft used. These packages each contain 10 flight adventures and each package begins at the location the previous package ended. All flightplans are VFR only and are designed so that you can enjoy the outstanding scenery of Alaska, Western Canada, Western and Mountain States of the lower 48, and Mexico. The adventure, Crossing North America, begins at Pt Hope, Alaska and will conclude in the following months at Cancun, Mexico. The aircraft used are: General Aviation, Vintage, Warbirds, Bush Aircraft, and Propliners. No IFR flightplans or jets! The flightplans are NOT designed to get you from Alaska to Mexico by the shortest route possible, but are in the spirit of David Dossiere's "Hopping Round the World" adventure flights, in that they take you into as many areas or airports as possible. Looking for some fun, flying low, and enjoying the scenery, then these flight adventures are for you.

Al Pelletier's Round Robins - Castlegar Download

File Description:
Hi again Flight Simmers. This adventure takes place in the Interior of British Columbia Canada, which is a very rugged and mountainous area. In fact, one of the toughest areas of the World, for any kind of planes to fly regular routes. I flew this route with 2 different airplanes. One with the Dornier and one with the old DC3 Dakota. With the more modern airplane, you can fly in and out of the route in IFR conditions with no problems. But with an aircraft that has a maximum of 500 to 900 Feet per minute rate of climb, you have to fly in VFR condition out of Castlegar to find an area that will allow you to climb to IMC(Instrument Meteorological Conditions) from VMC (Visual Meteorological Conditions). The DC3 I flew is by Bill Rambow, Roy Chaffin and Jan Visser. This, folks, is simply the BEST airplane that I have ever seen for MS Flight Sim, since 1982! This airplane and all the necessary scenery for this article can be found at http://wings.ark.com in the Full Throttle directory and probably at the Flight Simulator World web site. A list of all the necessary or nice to have files are listed on these pages.

Pilatus PC-6C KLU, ISAF, Tarin kowt, Afghanistan, 2009 Download

File Description:
Pilatus PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter for FSX by Tim Conrad in a Royal Netherlands Air Force livery. The PC-6C Turbo Porter has been an amazing contribution to the STOL aircraft fleet around the world for decades. It's robust airframe and excellent aerodynamics make the plane very popular for para-drops, but also for supply missions in remote area's throughout the globe. Despite it's age the aircraft is still widely in use. This repaint represents a "what-if" RNLAF PC-6C in 336 Sqn colours. 336 Sqn has been a Dutch Antilles based Air Force MARPAT unit operating F-27MPA's. Currently the Sqn operates four C-130's from Eindhoven AB, with a new Sqn logo. This PC-6C is (fictional) operated by 2 ULF (Utility and Liaison Flight), 336 Sqn. The flight is designated to operate anywhere in the world. This livery resembles a unit operating from Tarin kowt (Tereen (OATN)), Uruzgan, Afghanistan 2009 under ISAF mandate, and in support of the Dutch Task force Uruzgan, Tarin Kowt, 2009. The aircraft shares the same registration as my previous livery (PC-6C_KLU.zip), but weathered, tone-down grey and 37 years later. You need the excellent freeware PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter by Tim Conrad in order to use this repaint. Enjoy!

CityBird 1998 AI Flightplans Download

File Description:
CityBird was founded in late 1996 with the slogan "The Flying Dream" as a Belgian leisure airline with a white MD-11 leased from World and two 767s(one in a white livery and one in the green livery). By 1998, there was also an MD-11 in the full CityBird green colors and 2 in full SABENA titles with Swissair stickers that was operated on behalf of those two carriers to North America and Brazil. The 737s and 2 cargo A300 did not come until the very end of 1999 and are not included in these flightplans. The airline offered 3 classes of service, "Royal Eagle" class(buisness), "Premium Flamingo(premium economy), and "Colibri" class(economy). There was an interesting Just Planes\World Air Routes flight in the cockpit video made about this carrier, if that interests you. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet, the FAIB 767-300 is on Avsim as "faib_767-300_ctb.zip" and the FSPX MD-11 as "fspx_md-11_ctb.zip". Alternatively, Eduardo Villanueva has repainted the fleet on FS2004 native models on Avsim as "citybird_fleet.zip". Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. American Airlines Boeing 787-900 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The Boeing 787 is one of the most sophisticated aircraft ever designed, and I have worked on several FS models from even before the real aircraft was ever built. I have accumulated so much data relating to this plane that I can now incorporate real world dynamics for it based on extremely realistic information. The aircraft offered here has been modified to offer all of that realism. In the real world, the 787 is flown primarily with autopilot controls, and this model is no different. It doesn't take a lot to fly this plane, and if I were to be offered the challenge I think I'd be up and flying within a few minutes, in a real 787. Because of this, I offer no advise other than normal flight rules. If you are new to FSX, please learn through the on-board tutorials. I am not a tutor. I do not have anything to do with cosmetics. I do not design panels. All I do is help educate you about the realism of aircraft design. You can look at the aircraft.cfg and the .air file (Airfile Editor Required) to see what I've done in comparison to the original model, but I will not really help you with tutorial related issues. If you find something you think is wrong, let me know. Otherwise, enjoy this model and fly her like the real thing. Everything I've done here is for educational purposes without any expectation of any monetary gain, and offered publicly for free. What I offer here is protected by the Fair Use Doctrine of International Copyright Law, and you are free to study this as follows: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/17/107 All persons involved with this and the original design are credited, unless they are unknown and have offered no credit details.
