FAA Douglas DC-4A (EC-54D)
Reg. ID N87, msn 22187, ex U.S. Army Air Force
Douglas C-54D-15-DO Skymaster. Flight
inspection aircraft of U.S. Federal Aviation
Agency (1959-1967) in colors of 1963. Used as
a calibrator for international flight inspection
when checking and calibration navaids and instrument
procedures, including ILS, VOR, DME, TACAN, NDB,
various radars and airports. This repaint is
dedicated to James E. Creed (+2001), who between 1956
and 1975 was a flight inspection pilot at CAA/FAA
and later chief of FAA's flight inspection offices
in Japan (Tokyo/Tachikawa) and Germany (Frankfurt/
Rhine-Main-office). Although Jim type rated in many
aircraft the DC-4 was his favorite. His last DC-4
flights were with aircraft registered N87 on July
18/19/20 in 1963. Textures only. Original model
(DC4_v10.zip) by Jens B. Kristensen must be installed.

This freeware AI package, produced by Military AI Works, brings to McEntire JNGB (Joint National Guard Base) in FS2004. Located outside the small town of Eastover in South Carolina, McEntire is a lesser known but important air base that hosts both South Carolina Air National Guard and South Carolina Army National Guard aviation units. This package depicts three of the units based currently based there, the 169th Fighter Wing which operates F-16C/D and C-130H aircraft, the 1-151st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion which flies the AH-64D and Detachment 1 B. Company of the 2/238 Aviation Regiment which flies the CH-47D. This package contains flightplans, callsigns and afcads depicting each unit. Included in this package is a excellent freeware scenery for McEntire JNGB by John Stinstrom.

File Description:
Bettles is around 175 miles north of Fairbanks in ALaska, and 25 miles north of the Arctic Circle. It is also where James "Andy" Andersen started flying for Wien Airlines and where he spent the 20 years between 1947 and 1967. Read "Arctic Bush Pilot" by Andy and Jim Rearden for his story of those 20 years flying the bush. Bettles PABT is the gravel strip and due to the limitations of FS9 AI the float base on the adjacent river has to be separately named PABX. Bettles village (old Bettles) used to be 2 miles southwest of the field, but has now slowly relocated close to the strip. In this download there is an AFCAD folder, landclass folders, a scenery folder, and a traffic folder. You will need Ultimate Terrain Alaska Canada.

This is a repaint of the excellent TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) Boeing 737-8 MAX V2 and V3 model, in LOT Polish Airlines "2023 European Games", SP-LVH. Texture only. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. This texture represents "Rhapsody in Red" one of the B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 91st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. The 91th BG, one of the more famous groups in the Eighth Air Force. "The Ragged Irregulars" were based at Bassingbourn, England.
"Rhapsody in Red" Crew Members:1st Lt. Frank L. Adams, Pilot (0763887); 1st Lt. Monte B. Adams, Co-Pilot (0556018); 1st Lt. Harold W. Burts, Bombardier (0772936); 1st Lt. Elmer Gettis, Navigator (0712554). T/Sgt. Clifford M. Schultz, Radio Operator (36744080); T/Sgt. Vivian R. Chowning, Jr., Engineer (33634254); S/Sgt. Gerald L. Block, Waist Gunner (13085771); S/Sgt. Seymour B. Gold, Tail Gunner (32966976); S/Sgt. Joseph F. Sovina, Waist Gunner (33607095); S/Sgt. Roy Bertrand, Ball Turret Gunner (38488949). Rhapsody in Red completed 94 missions. Mr. Schultz believes that the members of this crew may have completed 35 missions. Her last sortie was also the 91st Bomb Group's last sortie on April 25, 1945. She returned to the U.S.A. on May 26, 1945. On November 28, 1945 she was sent to Kingman, Arizona.
