Crosswind Runways for California Central Coast Scenery for FSX with CCFSXMSG.ZIP or CCFSXMS.ZIP Installed Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This scenery contains several revised files for my previously uploaded California Central Coast sceneries CCFSXMSG.ZIP and CCFSXMS.ZIP. These are the versions of my CCC scenery for FSX with MegaScenery Earth. The "G" version also requires Genesis Terrain Mesh but is the most complete version. Included here are revised AFCAD files for the major airports in those sceneries which will add interesting crosswind capability to C80, PRB, SBP, SMX and SBA airports. Additionaly, revised AFCAD and associated files for IZA, LPC, L52 and VBG are included. In some cases ground traffic has been added, a few glitches repaired and minor improvements effected. The crosswind AFCAD's for the 5 airports with tangential or crossing runways were revised using the technique developed by Jim Vile and executed by Airport Design Editor (ADEX). This procedure will unavoidably bolix up the ATIS runway advisories at the 3 tower controlled airports with ATIS (SBA, SBP and SMX) but will make all of the runways useable for AI traffic depending on wind conditions. This is not a problem at C80 and PRB since they are uncontrolled fields and have no ATIS available. Therefore, I've included revised AFCADs for SBA, SBP and SMX that do not have crosswind provisions that can be substituted if desired.

ENRA - Mo I Rana Rossvoll Airport - Nordland, Norway Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:

The Mo i Rana airport, Rossvoll is a North Norwegian airport in the county of Nordland. It is located about ten kilometers northeast of the city Mo i Rana. Operator of the airport is the Norwegian state-owned company Avinor. The Mo i Rana Airport is currently served only by the Norwegian regional airline Wideroe. Scheduled flights go to an from Bodo, Bronnoysund, Mosjoen, Rorvik, Sandnessjoen and Trondheim.

The P3D scenery is a partly rework of my FSX-ENRA scenery: Especially the apron lights are made completely new. The environment of the airport is adapted by new landclasses. The airport has a photo background in two variants, covering all four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. The buildings in this scenery come from the fantastic XPlane scenery of Bert alias "almosquito" who kindly gave me the permission to convert them for my FSX /P3D scenery. But there are also some objects taken from two very popular freeware libraries. If these libraries are not installed, several objects are not visible! Please have a look to the readme_enra.txt.

The screenshots are taken from the FSX version. But the P3D version looks quite similar.

VGEG Chittagong/Shah Amanat International, Bangladesh Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for VGEG Chittagong/Shah Amanat International (known as M A Hannan until 2005) - an important airport in Bangladesh that is poorly provided for in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add taxiways, aprons, buildings and other airport features, including the military area at the north end and the general aviation ramps, so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The city of Chittagong and its port are served regularly by jets ranging in size from the Fokker 28 to the Douglas DC10 from operators like Air Arabia, Air Asia, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Oman Air, Thai Airways International, and turboprops of GMG Airlines, United Airways and Zoom Airways. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. HCMI Berbera, Somalia Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for HCMI Berbera, Somalia - an airport largely overlooked in Flight Simulator 2004 with just a runway and tower provided at what is actually the country's largest airport. At one time it had two active runways and a strong military presence but today activity is limited to occasional civilian flights. These scenery files add taxiways, aprons, buildings and other airport features (and remove the non-existent tower that Microsoft put there) so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. This desert-surrounded airport is served three times per week by Douglas DC-9 jets of Kenyan airline African Express Airways.

[File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM]

Layton's Airfield (28NJ), NJ Download

File Description:
Layton's Field perhaps no longer exists in actual aviation databases - it's not, for example, listed over at skyvector.com. But you can find it via a Google search. It is coded 28NJ within FSX, although the real 28NJ is a heliport at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. It is a single grass turf strip 1692 feet in length and 60 feet wide. There are no services or parking available - if you want to practice touch and go turf landings that's about the extent of the usefulness of this airport. Even if you never use it, this will at least prevent you from flying over the location and seeing a default 3000 foot grass strip (with threshold markings, no less) sticking oddly out amongst the rest of the scenery.

Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview, the author has not been there in person.
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Lelystad airport_EHLE_FSX_new_layout Download

File Description:
Because the Netherlands 2000 Scenery Design Team no longer releases a new version for the FSX, this version has been compiled based on nl2k_v4_EHLE_5 with the permission of the the Netherlands 2000 Scenery Design Team. - Various buildings have been modelled and items from various sources have been added to the airport. - The EHLElib.BGL file contains all the items that have been used and the textures are complete. As a result, the airport can be installed without the use of the installation of the Netherlands 2000 Scenery Design Team. - The airport is surrounded by more trees than the version nl2k_v4_EHLE_5. - Lampposts have been added to the highway of the approach path of Runway 23 and parking places. - By means of Airport Design Editor the airport can be changed. - In the Effects folder, there are effects that should be added to the FSX (SE) folder. - In the selection folder you will find two options. One is the choice where the new section is active and two where it is inactive. By placing a copy of one of these in the scenery folder and deleting it already in the scenery. It will become active after you restart the flight sim. Enjoy and Happy flying Jan Zijlstra from the Netherlands

2. FSX_FlightPortLib http://www.flightport.de/libraries/flightport-library/
Basically, libraries should be well integrated into the hierarchy of the Scenery.cfg, even below the Add-On-scenery because the Library objects otherwise may not be found by FSX.

Library Object Manager Download

File Description:
Library Object Manager is a utility designed to manage your collection of FS9 library objects. It does not work with API Macros (API Manager from ScruffyDuck Software can do that). Functions include importing object information from FS9 library bgl files; from SBuilder, RWY12 and EZ-Scenery. Categorizing objects by user defined category, by library name and by author. Exporting object information so that it can be used by SBuilder, RWY12, Object Placer XML, EZ-Scenery, and SceneGenX. Creating library files from your collection of .mdl objects. A quick placement function to allow you to place objects into your scenery for testing, creating thumbnails etc. A more extensive object placement program (Scenery Maker) which is similar in concept to RWY12 and Object Placer XML. This program is currently in Beta and further developments are planned. It may therefore not work entirely as expected although it has been tested by a number of kind and helpful users. LOM Requires Mirosoft dotNET Framework 2.0; bglxml.exe from Alessandro G. Antonini; FSUIPC from Pete Dowson for the scenery creation function to work; and bglcomp from Microsoft (included in this package). PLEASE read the included manuals before using the program. Support is available from my website www.scruffyduck.plus.com.

WIKD/WIOD Tanjung Pandan/Buluh Tumbang/H.A.S. Hanandjoeddin, Indonesia Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for WIKD/WIOD Tanjung Pandan/Buluh Tumbang/H.A.S. Hanandjoeddin, Indonesia, based on Google Earth satellite data. It is a small domestic airport serving the island of Belitung, located about 17 miles from the main town of the island - Tandjungpandan. The island produces mainly tin and pepper but there are some beaches that are generating tourist traffic too. Flight Simulator 2004 has made no provision for any traffic at this airport and this scenery seeks to redress the situation. The airport sees daily scheduled traffic operated by Batavia Air and Sriwijaya Air. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on poor quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. The ICAO code for this airport has recently changed from WIKD to WIOD. The included files allow you to either retain the old code or optionally change the airport to use the new one.

VGCB Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for VGCB Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, a small domestic airport serving the fishing town of the same name in the Bay of Bengal, to the south of Chittagong. It boasts extensive sandy beaches which has allowed tourism development. The unusual name comes from Captain Hiram Cox of the British East India Company who was appointed Superintendent of the outpost in the late 1700s. The airport, which was originally a Pakistan Air Force base, sees domestic flights (mostly to/from Dhaka) operated by Hawker Siddeley 748s, de Havilland Dash 8s and Fokker Fellowship aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, GMG Airlines, United Airways and Zoom Airlines. Flight Simulator 2004 has made no provision for traffic with only a runway provided and this scenery seeks to redress the situation. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.
