TDS Boeing P-8A Poseidon VP-49 Woodpeckers. (2004/FSX) VP-49 was a long-lived Patrol Squadron of the U.S. Navy, having held that designation for 45 years from 1948 to 1994. Its nickname was the Woodpeckers from 1973 to 1994. VP-49 was disestablished at NAS Jacksonville, Florida in March 1994. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson and David Biggar. Master textures by Kyle Schurb.

The members of Military AI Works are proud to bring you this freeware AI package, produced by Desmond Burrell in conjunction with Military AI Works which is the third part in a twelve part series covering the people and cargo movers of the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps.
This third part covers Andrews AFB which hosts VR-1, VR-48 and VR-53 as well as NAS Patuxent River which hosts the C-130s of VX-20. As a bonus, this package also adds the newly arrived T-6A/B Texan II aircraft stationed at NAS Patuxent River with VX-20 and the United States Navy Test Pilot School.

File Description:
This Repaint Was created entirely from scratch, using the payware Abacus A-4E Skyhawk(REQUIRED), Based on an A-4K, NZ6209. This Skyhawk was based at NAS Nowra, Australia, to train the Australian Navy in case of any airborne threat. The panel is based on the A-4K Cockpit improvements, officially named the 'KAHU' Project. Original model by Abacus.

Repaint only for Nas Air (Saudi Arabia) Emb-195 for AI Aardvark ** update B-model **. Model, base textures and paintkit by AI Aardvark, available separately (aiemb195.zip). Due to a slip the previous repaint was made for the A-model, instead of the later correct(ed) B-model. Thanks to Jakob who made me aware of this fault. 32Bit and DXT3 included, also changed custom lightmap incl. 1rew ;). I apologize for any inconvenience. Thanks for downloading and enjoy.

This is a repaint of the Dino Cattaneo's S-3B "Viking". These textures represent a Viking of VS-30, "Diamond Cutters" as it appeared on the USS Saratoga in May, 1992. On December 9 2005, the squadron was officially disestablished as the Vikings were eliminated from USN inventory at NAS Jacksonville. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need Dino Cattaneo's Lockheed S-3B Viking freeware package.

TDS Boeing P-8A Poseidon VP-64 Condors (122). Fictional. VP-64, nicknamed the Condors, was a Patrol Squadron of the U.S. Navy Reserve. The squadron was established on 1 November 1970 and re-designated Fleet Logistics Support Squadron VR-64 on 18 September 2004, after 34 years of service and based at NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. CFS2 Grumman TBF-1c Avenger (Tarpon Mk. Ic) 2P JZ165 852nd NAS (RN FAA). HMS Trumpeter - RAF Fleet Air Arm. Painted over The B24 Guy's TBF Avenger OH Model. During the summer of 1944, this aircraft operated with the 852nd from the HMS Trumpeter in the North Atlantic. From April of 1943 until January of 1944, the TBFs/TBMs of the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm went by the British name of "Tarpon," and then reverted back to the American name "Avenger."
