File Description:
The original release of the C-46 was produced by a team of talented people. As the plane's original creator, these alternate files represent my favorite configuration that I use when flying the plane. Feel free to use these or the original files; mix and match as you like. Contains an updated model file with my original crew, enlarged main wheels and correct landing gear, an edited panel.cfg file including modified view angles to the outside from the crew and passenger positions, and new contact points for the aircraft.cfg file. Requires the original file (c46ga.zip) to be installed first. I hope you like them as much as I do. Please make BACK UPs of your original files so you can use the version you want.

This texture for one of Sidney Schwarz's lights will prevent my Merrill Field scenery from generating blurred textures when you are flying nearby. It all depends on your settings within FS9 so you might never have had that problem, and if you haven't then you don't need this. If you have had that problem, and I did, then you really need this. Sid issued new textures some while ago, but unfortunately it wasn't known that his light was causing the problem until this week, and I never downloaded the new ones. I have also taken this opportunity to provide new AI with minor adjustment to levels for both Merrill and Lake Hood. These go into Scenery/World/Scenery and say yes to over-write.

After years of research watching airliner videos, flying real airplanes into and out of big airports where runways are filled with sounds from the centerline lighting, bumps, and pavement gaps - I have perfected the ground roll sound.
I find this one so bold, clean and clear, that nothing else compares. I have tried them all... ones with freeware and payware aircraft. Assembled myself over one month time. Recommended for 1Gig memory computers ONLY. Anything less may cause a pause during touchdown as sound must load. On a 1Gig machine, there is no pause and the touchdown followed by rolling on landing is awesome. Takeoffs are as loud and rumbly as they should be! You'll experience rattles, centerline clump clump clump and more!

This is a PART 2 repost from 100 years ago because only one down-loader informed me very very recently that three airfields in that area needed altitude adjustment, namely 5AK8, 05AK, and 71AK. If you have this problem put the three bgl's in the FS9/Scenery/World/Scenery folder. If you don't have this problem then ignore this and finish your beer.

File Description:
AI Water "aircraft" for Lake Okanagan, BC. This package features an AI Sternwheeler ship, an AI Waco Bi-wing plane and AI Cabin Cruisers set on Lake Okanagan, near Penticton and Kelowna, BC, Canada. Offerred as an interesting scenery enhancement, it also demonstrates the use of the "forward departure" (no push-back) technique as applied to water based aircraft. A few EZ objects have also been used to decorate the dock areas where the AI "craft" will be seen. This enhancement has been tested with the default FS2004 scenery only and may not work with other enhancements (such as UT-Canada) which alter the shorelines of Lake Okanagan. Other downloads may be required or are recommended. Complete details about these will be found in the instructions. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the easy installation instructions. Airasia's Thai service aircraft with "Carabao" livery (9M-AAN)
Air Asia is a low-cost no frills Malaysian airline which operates
flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to various destinations
throughout Malaysia. It operates exclusively on Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
Thai Airasia is a jointventure company between Shin corp. Thailand
and Airasia Malaysia. Two aircraft are initialy used for thai domestic
flights using Bangkok Intl. as a hub with a plan to increase the number
upto 10 at the end of the year2004. Carabao(meaned buffalo) is a folk
star of Thailand and Thai Airasia presenter.

In this updated package, the Malay flag at the nose was moved to the side of the
frontal door,funny appearance of grey painted over area can be seen at the nose.
Main wheel red button was also added.
-----The folder contains all you need for flying the "CARABAO" ,just unzip and paste.
This aircraft has a ving view function and is as easy to fly as the default 737-400 and also very suitable for AI too!
