Continental Micronesia 1998 AI Package

File Description:
Continental Mircronesia was Continental's Guam-based Pacific operation. In 1998, CMI had 3 747-200s and 16 727s (10 pax+ 6 flying DHL cargo), and was also using 4 Continental 757s to cover routes from GUM. The 747s mostly fly between NRT/GUM/HNL and spend their down time at the HNL maintenance base, but they also flew charters to OKJ and SDJ which are represented in these plans. The 727s fly all over the Pacific, serving most every large city in Japan as well as TPE, CNS, and the 7-stop GUM-HNL "milk run", flown twice weekly. The cargo plans for the 727s are representitive and also serve much the the Pacific reaching as far as Australia. I created arrival and departure banks most days so the planes often arrive back to GUM in the middle of the night around the same time. The "Micronesia" titles were removed from the last DC-10-30 in March 1998, after which time all DC-10s wore the standard Continental livery as did the 757-200s while using the CMI codes and callsigns. Currently, there is no Continental Micronesia DC-10 AI paint, but links to all relevant paints are included as well as Ranmori Scythe's FAIB 747-200 PW texture. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. File Description: In order to use this repaint, you must have the PMDG 737 NGX installed. The NGX is a payware aircraft. This file includes the 900 "Non-Winglet" instructions also as an added bonus. This paint is the paint that my new Video Paint Tutorials focus on, and is the actual paint I show you how to create yourself. Since you might want to paint something different than what I chose to paint, I want you to at least have this paint as reference. It is a highly modeled paint, meaning I did every single rivet and line completely from scratch. This is also something you will learn in the tutorial, but also the files themselves can be studied on your own. I like to try things that no one else has tried, and do them differently for painters to use as blueprints of their own work. We can all learn a lot from one another and I hope what I have here can benefit a painter and give you lots of enjoyment flying. If you're not interested in being a painter, that's fine as well. RNP Approach Procedures for Southeast Alaska, for use with the PMDG 737 NGX

File Description:
These are updated RNP procedures used in Southeast Alaska in conjunction with the PMDG 737. While similar procedures exist else ware, the goal of these was not to code the exact procedure that is used in real world ops. The reason is because the PMDG 737 isn't capable of flying radius fix legs, which are used extensively in RNP procedures. If the approach and departures are coded as they are in the real aircraft, the flight path is not accurate. All other procedures I have located out there exhibit this limitation, which leads to unstabilized approaches. The goal with these procedures is to have the PMDG 737 fly the same flight path as the real world procedures. Many of the fixes loaded into the FMS are sudo waypoints but as many of the true fixes are utilized to the extent possible. This means, when you arrive at minimums for the RNP 05 at Petersburg or the RNP 29 at Sitka, very little maneuvering will be required. Installation is a little tedious but will be well worth is. Passenger comfort features the possiiblity of standing in feet inside the plane, low noise due to pusher propellers and "Pininfarina" designed arrangement. Performances are unique too, cruising at 395 KTAS (260 KIAS) at 28000 ft, a jet-like speed, being the P-180 a twin turboprop. The result is a 40% reduced operational cost respect to a jet of similar size, and 30% less respect to a similar size turboprop, all at same price of a small Jet. Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), NJ (Beta)

File Description:
Located 03 miles S of Newark, New Jersey on 2027 acres of land, Newark Liberty International Airport is a major regional hub. Currently, this airport is fully modeled to match MegaScenery Earth ground textures. It is functional to the point where I feel comfortable releasing it, however it is a far cry from "complete". As a primarily General Aviation pilot, I do not have much use for this airport, however I do fly over it from time to time and prefer to see it blend in with MSE textures properly. If you are a frequent user of KEWR and its facilities, please consult the Known Issues section of the ReadMe to decide whether you wish to install this version. It might be worth adding it as a layer you can turn on when you're not using the airport but will be flying in the area and want it to blend in properly. I do plan to further develop this airport if I end up using it more often in the future. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview and personal reference. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 005. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

P-51D G-SIJJ "Jumpin'Jacques"

File Description:
"Jumpin Jacques" is a P-51D-20-NA model, built at North American’s Inglewood facility in California. Accepted by the USAAF on December 21 1944 as 44-72035, she was assigned to the 332nd fighter group in the Mediterranean Theatre of operations. The 332nd became very famous as the first all Afro American manned Group known as "The Tuskegee Airmen" although references to them at the time refer to them as "The Red Tails". She entered combat with the 15th Air force around March 1945 serving out the last few months of the war on escort and ground attack sweeps over Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia. She still carries the battle scars to this day, with bullet repairs in several places on the fuselage. After the war, she was repatriated to the US and served with several ANG units. She was released from active duty in 1953 and in 1956 sold to Whitman Enterprises, CA, who registered her as N5411V. She remained in the Us until 1981, when she was sold to Colombia. In 1989, she was bought by Jacques Bourret of Aero Retro, based in St.Rambert, France, with the registration F-AZMU. When looking for a colour scheme for the P-5, Jacques came upon the photo of a Mustang named "Jumpin’ Jacques" and could not resist adopting this as the new scheme. The original "Jumpin’ Jacques" was flown by Lt Jacques E Young of the 3rd Fighter Squadron, 3rd Air Commando Group, a unit that operated out of the Philippines. At present, she is with the Hangar11 group of North Weald, UK, flying with the registration G-SIJJ. She has been repainted completely in early 2007, and it is this paintscheme that is depicted with this repaint. Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Fighters P-51D Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by John Terrell.

File Description:
Iloilo Airport is located in Iloilo City, Panay Island, Philippines. This local visayan airport is served by the following major domestic airlines: Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines. This scenery features the most realistic replica of buildings located in the airport area such as the Main Terminal buildings, Control Tower, Crash and Fire Rescue Station, Philippine Air Force building, private hangars, shops, and commercial buildings including the SM City-Iloilo right in front of the airport area. SM City's parking area is generally filled with vehicles everyday that they are very visible at the ramp area of the airport at daytime and most especially visible glittering at nighttime. This scenery also features the different commercial vessels serving Iloilo City such as WG&A Superferry, Sulpicio Lines, Negros Navigation, and Philippine Fastferry Corporation's Supercat and SeaAngels. These vessels are visible when flying from Iloilo to Bacolod City passing through the Guimaras Channel. This scenery is designed with the combined efforts of Ver Walter Gulfan of Cebu City, Philippines and Manny Aquino of Surabaya, Indonesia. File Description:
KRDD(Redding Municipal Airport) is located in the beautiful city of Redding Ca. Redding is a city located in Shasta County 150 mile's north of Sacramento on Interstate-5. Redding is known as a gateway for recreation for those visiting this Northern Ca. city, Lake Shasta and Mt Lassen are just a short drive out of town. As a former resident of Redding I drove past KRDD on a daily basis,on a couple of occasion's I had the opportunity to attend the annual Redding Airshow. The airshow play's host to many of aviations finest stunt pilot's as well as one of many military jet flying team's, the USN Blue Angels have been guest of the airshow many time's. The airshow still runs to this day. KRDD is also a destination city for several major and regional air carriers, HorizonAir and United Skywest are among them. This scenery I have done as a tribute to the many mile's I have put on driving past it as well as an opportunity to give it some dignity amongst the many airports in MSFS2002. This is also my first airport project I have released. My hope is that it adds to your FS2002 experience.

Resort Airlines Douglas C-54A (N57670)

File Description:
This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured is the C-54A (modified to DC-4 standard) N57670 of Resort Airlines: one repaint representing the aircraft around 1956, the other at the end of its open air storage in 1961. Resort Airlines Inc (of Washington, DC, and Oakland, CA) was a US non-scheduled carrier that specialised in the operation of inclusive holiday tours to the Caribbean and also in military charter flying (Logair). The airline was operative between 1945 and 1960. Its fleet comprised of Curtiss C-46, Lockheed 1049H Super Constellation and Douglas DC-4/C-54 aircraft. Around 1961-62 five C-54s which had been stored at Oakland for some time, ranging from several months to 6 years, were rescued by Aviation Traders (of Southend and Stansted, England) from the scrapdealer's axe and converted to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry and cargo aircraft. N57670, which was active with Resort during 1954-1956 only and had been deteriorating during the open air storage, was one of these lucky birds.
