[ABOUT THE PROGRAM] This program will read a text file from the route of your hard drive depending on the version you run, and select a random line and display that line. The file must be a text file named "Airports.txt". This program was designed with ease of use in mind for selecting a random airport for the Flight Sim community, though can be used for any purpose with any text file called "Airports.txt". The program will display the airport ICAO code then co-ordinates. [ABOUT ME] I am a 16 year old aviation enthusiast that loves flying and ATC, but hate having to choose an airport to depart from and arrive at, or to controll. This program has now removed this to make my flight more random with less decisions to make. I also like to explore areas I haven't been before, again this selects a random airport, from thousands of different ones, so exploring is inevitable. [INSTALLATION] The only installation required is to copy the Airports.txt file to the route of your hard drive C: or D: (for more drives e-mail me as above), then run the respective program for that drive from any folder you wish. [ABOUT THE AIRPORTS.TXT FILE] This file was collected from my FS2004 and contains every airport in it. Currently the program selects a line at random and displays it, whether a large international airport or small grass field. You could edit the file just to contain your favourite airports and it will NOT affect the running of the program as long as the file remains as Airports.txt. I am hoping in future versions to allow you to select a type of airfield, i.e. large, medium or small or select from runway length, though this will take a while to produce, if ever. For now i hope everyone enjoys the program and happy flying :)

Republic P-47D-22 404th FG (Y8-W) "Fighting Gator"

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22 42-26046 Y8-W "Fighting Gator" as flown by Lt. Fred Varn of the 507th FS/ 404th FG. It was a Republic Employee donated P47 that completed 200 missions without a technical abort and was retired from operational duties at a service conducted by the Group Commander. The aircraft was painted with the Republic Employee donated plaque and the ribbons of the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal and the Purple Heart. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

Flight Sim Air Taxi - Pen and Paper Rules

File Description:
This is a PDF document providing a simple and unobtrusive roleplaying game to be used with FSX, X-Plane or any other simulator. It emulates the life of an air taxi or charter pilot. The game requires a pen, notebook and two packs of playing cards (to be combined - remove the Jokers). I hope it is of use to some people who don't want all the book-keeping hassles with add-ons like Cargo Pilot, Air Hauler or FS Passengers! Lunar Landing MFD (Version 061802)

File Description:
An MFD that will guide you to a landing on the lunar surface (designed after the PNGS on the Apollo LM). The MFD includes an autopilot that is capable of flying the majority of the approach (up until the final descent onto the lunar surface). A user, however, can also chose to fly all, or part, of the approach manually, with the MFD simply providing guidance data. The MFD requires the AMSO addon and Christophe Kopp's scenery packages for the Apollo landing sites (at least it you'd like to have a nice view on the way down :-)).

Memphis Intl Airport (KMEM)

File Description:
AFCAD2 file for the Memphis International Airport (KMEM) V1.0. Adds many gates, also has correct concourses A, B and C. Contains current gate assignments for Northwest and other airlines. Also added the Fedex World Hub, Tennessee Air Guard, Signature Flight Support, and Wilson Air Charter parking. Runway 35 removed, taxiway P2 unavailable, and taxiway east of runway 36R/18L under contruction as it is today. Modelled after current airport approach plates (airport diagram also included for user reference) and author's flying experience. Also updates local airports. M01 corrected runway to new numbers, and added the new ASOS installed to KAWM. Enjoy

VATSIM Flight Progress Cad

File Description:
This is a flight progress form designed for use when flying on VATSIM ATC flights. It is designed to provide you with a place to write and organized everything related to VATSIM flights such as clearances, STARS, assigned heading and altitudes, runways, current altimeters, winds, and center frequencies. With this form, no more fumbling around writing things down on pieces of scrap paper! You can read back clearances like a pro and make fewer mistakes. I think I tweeked things out so that there are no omissions, but feel free to edit as you see fit! Enjoy!

Surinam Airways flightplans

File Description:
Here is yet another one of my realistic Caribbean A.I flightplan releases. Another great one to stop by into the new Piarco scenery by Bill Melichar. Surinam Airways flies out of Parabaribo - Suriname (PBM / SMJP) to Piarco - Trinidad (TTPP / POS), Curacao (TNCC / CUR), Georgetown- Guyana (SYCJ - GEO), Belem -Brazil (SBBE / BEL) and Cayenne- French Guiana (SOCA / CAY) using an MD87 aircraft. See the readme file, there is also a voicepack enclosed so that atc will call the airline by its callsign "surinam". Check out my other caribbean flightplans. All comments and feedback are welcomed. DC-3 Single IFR Panel Update

File Description:
Official update of Mark Beaumont's single IFR panel only for the DC-3. Requires previous installation of DC3_PAN.ZIP and DC3_PAN2.ZIP but makes no changes to any of the twin panels. As additional pop-ups, adds an improved Electrical Panel with essential gauges, Bill Morad's ATC Control Panel, R.L. Clark's Radio CD player and Robert K. Guy's Airspeed/Groundspeed readout as part of the digital overlay. All simicons are now on a pop-up panel also, leaving the basic panel clear and uncluttered for flying. Optional PANEL.CFG files included for those who have previously installed Beaumont and Bitzer's three and four tank modifications.

Citation X

File Description:
All new panel for FS2004, new custom gauges and semi photo real panel make for great flying. The new gauges include the complete glare panel, radio controls on lower left side of panel, digital engine gauges EICAS display and complete pedestal panel. The panel I started last june at my parents house, and finally got to a point recently I was happy with it. There are some area's I want to work on, but this will do for now. I have tested the panel with bill alderson citation x using my flight model, and the citation x from chuck dome.
