Canadian Armed Forces Lockheed (Canadair) CF-104 Starfighter; aka the Zipper, Coffin Nail, Flying Coffin, or Missile with a Man in It (in untrained hands it resembles a lawn dart). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this hotrod of military jet history. Going into production in 1955, this aircraft was manufactured, directly or by license, by 6 countries, and served the air forces of 17 countries. Late examples served until 2004, nearly fifty years after its introduction. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the F-104 and CF-104 in the service of the Royal Canadian Air Force (later re-branded Canadian Armed Forces); with a total of 22 models and 48 repaints. I am also including some optional variants with manual install instructions, on a separate document in the zip file. Original aircraft model and textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A/Aircraft Factory F4-U Corsair, in the paintscheme of White 29, the Aircraft ot Lt Ira Kepford of VF-17 "Jolly Rogers". With 16 confirmed kills at the end of February 1944, Kepford was still the Navy's top ace, a distinction he retained until Alexander Vraciu went wild on June 19. Kepford returned to the States in March of 1944, and was assigned to Fleet Air Command at Alameda, California. In June, he was transferred to VF-84. In December, he was attached to the Staff of Commander Fleet Air, West Coast, where he served the remainder of WWII. In his five months of combat duty, Ira Kepford earned two Navy Crosses, the Gold Star, the Silver Star, three Distinguished Flying Crosses, the Air Medal, Unit Commendation to VF-17, and the American Defense Service Medal. This delightfully streamlined airliner from the Classic Fifties is now only barely remembered in the U.K and probably almost unknown to the world at large. It has its origins as the prime contender after W.W.2 in the race for a medium range turboprop airliner in contention with the Viscount 630.
Had the manufacturers chosen the R.R. Dart as the power plant instead of the troublesome A.S. Mamba, then maybe the course of history in British aviation at that time would have been quite different. Who knows?
Only two flying airframes plus a test fuselage were made and unfortunately are no longer with us but under the aegis of F.S., we present our interpretation for your pleasure and enjoyment.
Our model depicts the two completed airframes and as an added bonus we have included
Coventry Airport AFCAD and Add on Scenery depicted in the 1950's including all hangars, Armstrong Whitworth Factory/hangar complex and control tower. Editvoicepack Apollo call sign.

Textures for Jens B. Kristensen's excellent Douglas DC-4/C-54, repainted by Manfred Meyer.
This are textures only, You need to download and install DC4_V30.ZIP by J. B. Kristensen, use the cargo model with no radar nose!
These textures depict N529D (c/n 10748) of Caicos International Limited.
The aircraft was delivered in june 1945 as 42-72643 to the USAAF. After conversion to DC-4 in 1946 she went to China and flew for CNAC and CAT as XT-T-07 and XT-102. 1949 the plane came into US register as N4890V and served with several companies like Trans Ocean, Southwest, Riddle and Flying Tiger. 1960 she goes to Paraguayan Air Service as ZP-CBP and later in 1968 to SAM Colombia as HK-529. Bought by Florida Aircraft Leasing in 1970 and leased 1973 to 1975 to Caicos International Limited.
After then flew for Anglers Club and Southern Aero Trades, after all it believed destroyed in Colombia 1979.

This is the result of over eighteen months of development and has been produced
specifically as a thankyou to all the people that have produced free add-ons that I have benefitted from.
I hope this enhances the pleasure of flying the only British-built long long-range turboprop airliner.

I looked around for quite some time for the Dash-8-100 in the Canadian North livery (non-AI) but did not find one. So, I decided to repaint it in the excellent Dreamwings model. The Canadian North livery is very striking and colorful. It looks absolutely magic on the "baby Dash." Though I could only find a few photos of this airframe, I repainted this with a goal of having a realistic and detailed end product. I hope you enjoy flying this wonderful aircraft as much as I did creating it. Fuselage textures are 32-bit no mips, all other textures DXT3. This is a textures only package; you must have the Dreamwings Design Dash8 Q-100 model available here at AVSIM.

YCHP Yanchep St Andrews (Closed) was built by the Bond Corporation in the 60's for the development of the St Andrews Estate and Sun City development and has since fallen into disrepair. Alan Bond was a larger than life character and most of Western Australia will still remember his airship or his lear jet flying around Perth. I have placed a windsock and cones to help you find your way around on the ground because there is little else there. In real life, the strip may still look inviting but it is overgrown and most likely not safe. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

Included in this package are two spectacular gauges by Karol Chlebowski for TFR flying and Pave Tack which includes many advanced features for bombing, navigation and reconnaissance. Have fun flying circuits at Pekin (C15) with the three default C172 aircraft that came with FS9. All three will be on the ground if you start at C15 and will crank, taxi, hold short, announce takeoff on 122.80, and depart. They announce all position calls correctly and timely. They each do a touch n go in order with proper sequencing and then do it again and again. All that you need do is place the provided "FlightPekin.bgl" in the correct folder and then have fun. No other files are needed. The exterior 172 model is very frame rate friendly and will not impact frame rates significantly even on 1.2 ghz machines. This file is intended for audiences of all ages who have FS9.
