POLISH AIRPORTS VOL. 3 X DEMO Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
POLISH AIRPORTS VOL. 3 X DEMO is a package of detailed sceneries of EPPO Poznan, EPWR Wroclaw, EPBY Bydgoszcz and EPSY Olsztyn-Mazury airports in Poland, fully compatible with FSX, FSX:SE and P3D (v1,v2,v3,v4). This product is a fully functional DEMO version of the commercial payware product that features simplified airports with main buildings but with low resolution textures, non-animated jetways and generally much less details. Using this free demo ensures no problems with online (VATSIM, IVAO, multiplayer etc.) flying in case some users use the payware scenery and some don't. Poznan-Lawica Henryk Wieniawski Airport (POZ/EPPO), built in 1913, is one of the oldest airports in Poland. Bydgoszcz Ignacy Jan Paderewski Airport (BZG/EPBY) is a Polish regional airport in the city of Bydgoszcz. Wroclaw Copernicus Airport (WRO/EPWR) is an international commercial airport in Wroclaw in southwestern Poland, the 4th largest airport in Poland. Olsztyn-Mazury Airport (SZY/EPSY) is an international passenger airport in the North-East of Poland, branded as the gateway to the Masurian Lake District. The product is equipped with an automatic installer, which means that the scenery will be automatically added to the Flight Simulator Scenery Library. Please uninstall all previous versions of this airport you may have installed before. Please make also sure that no duplicated AFCAD files are installed. Enjoy your virtual flying with Drzewiecki Design!

Bethel: St Mary's area airfields in southwest Alaska close to the Yukon River Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This presumes you have already installed Bethel PABE and Bethel Local Airfields. In the Yukon River area of Alaska to the north of Bethel there are small villages, served by flights from both Bethel and the nearer St Mary's PASM. St Mary's has a gravel runway like the other villages, but has a larger population and airport services including maintenance and fuel. This, plus the saving of an average one hundred miles of flying by a Cessna 205 when compared with flights from Bethel, means it acts as a distribution centre fed from Bethel by larger aircraft. Go to "http://vfrmap.com/" for free vfr maps of the area (see the attached). The ten village airfields included here are all to the north and west of St Mary's: Hooper Bay PAHP, Chevak VAK, Cape Romanzof PACZ (closed air force field servicing a radar station), Scammon Bay SCM, Sheldon Point SXP, Alakanuk AUK, Emmonak PAEM, Kotlik 2A9, Mountain Village MOU, and of course St Mary's PASM itself. With these airfields not everything is as it appears to be. For instance, Hooper Bay is not a new and modernised airfield, despite the asphalt runway and apron; the current version has dispensed with the aging asphalt and gone back to gravel. I have tended to go for the 2005 or so versions, which sometimes means a small runway amid or close to the housing; Kotlik was an early renewal for reasons of safety as much as anything else and has had (since 2003?) a new and longer runway located outside of the town. The second batch of airfields will be to the east of St Mary's.

Rescue Bill Bunyan Download

File Description:
Jake, the Bold Airport (Alaska) manager just got a CB call from Bill Bunyan, master sasquatch tracker. Bill has hurt his right ankle quite seriously, and needs to by picked up by someone with a ski-equipped airplane. Your Maule is just such a plane. Bill isn't quite sure exactly where he is, but does know he's not too far from Bold Ridge. So you have one waypoint to work with. After that it's up to you. To help, Bill is burning a campfire. He says it's fairly flat at his location, but to watch out for bushes, small trees, and grizzly bears. As an experienced mountain flyer, you know that such rescues benefit from getting as much altitude as the weather allows, before getting into the mountains. Bill thinks he's in an area that's 4000 or more feet ASL, but it's snowing heavily. Don't forget to lower your skis before landing at Bill's location, and to raise them before landing back at the Airport.

Southeast Farallon Islands Version 2 Download

File Description:
SIGNIFICANTLY ENHANCED UPGRADE OF PRIOR VERSION. These islands were mysteriously absent from the FS2004 default scenery, probably owing to their small size. When I went to look for them I found a small mountain of water instead of the islands. Most people don't seem to be aware of the Farallon Islands. Located off the coast of California, near San Francisco, they are home to thousands of birds, seals, and some of the largest Great White sharks known to man. All of this is within a very short distance of the city. Today, it is a wildlife refuge and is off limits to visitation by the general public. Those of you interested in more info might check out "The Devil's Teeth" by Susan Casey. This island is actually a scenery object. As such it doesn't have a landable surface. Future versions will have a helicopter pad, a lighthouse, and the 100 year old houses used by researchers.

Air Glaciers - HTAI Beech and Mike Cronin Pilatus Download

File Description:
This package lets you have a Beech holiday in the mountains. Air Glaciers operates Beechcraft King Airs from Sion to various destinations closer to the sea. They are frequent visitors to Corsica across to Krk (Rijeka) from their mountain lair. This package contains three Beech King Air repaints based on the Henry Tomkiewicz AI King Air 200 (4-blade, strakes) and, one they've got you to Sion there are three Pilatus Turbo Porters (based on the Mike Cronin low-poly PC6) to carry you onward into the mountains. The King Airs have accurate weekly flightplans (plus a few charters) and the Turbo Porters have very simple plans that service nearby airports. The effect at Sion is quite nice. If you want the Turbo Porters to service altiports you'll need to devise your own plans and find a way of landing AI on steep slopes! If you manage that, you can start on the choppers ... Now I'm going on the piste ... (aka having a beer ...). Enjoy!

File Description:
This German assault/freight glider, developed by the DFS (Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Segelflug / German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight), was used for the first time during the operation against the Belgian Fort Eben Emael near Maastrich (May 10, 1940). They were also used during Krete invasion (Maleme, 1941), in the Western Desert and on the Russian Front for transport purposes. Bora Bora Airport, French Polynesia, NTTB Download

File Description:
The Bora Bora airport is located on one of the Motus, which surround the Island of Bora Bora. The Motus are raised coral reefs which act as break waters, and create the beautiful turquoise lagoons which surround the French Polynesian Islands. This scenery is a complete remake of the original, and is now much more accurate as to what the airport looks like. It contains the main terminal, a fire station attached to the tower with fuel tanks, open air hangar structures, two helipads, and wood stairs taking you down to the boat docks where you are transported to the main island. This is one of the most unique French Polynesian Islands with it's beautiful and interesting mountain structure. Using the terrain mesh by Rolf Keibel and John Applegate will tremendously enhance this part of the world in FS. It is available at Flightsim under the name fpsimesh.zip. Afcad by Ray Smith is also included.
