Beta Cargo (Brazil) - May 2008 Download

File Description:
Beta Cargo is a Brazilian cargo airline, was born in 1996. Operates some DC-8 for big cities in Brazil. It is very difficult to obtain information about Beta Cargo, therefore it opposes to give information to the press and the flights do not appear in the data of the Brazilian Aviation Civil Agency. Maybe, because the company was involved in scandals of super invoicing for mail transport for Brazilian government. Enjoy this file flying over Brazil!

Channel Airways (ex BEA) DH Comet 4B G-APMB Download

File Description:
Channel Airways bought five Comet 4B aircraft from BEA to operate inclusive tours out of Stansted. This was the only ex BEA machine, the other four had been in service with Olympic Airways. None of the aircraft were painted in Channel colours, remaining in the basic livery of their former operators left G-APMB as the odd one out in the fleet. The first to arrive in January 1970 was one of the former Greek aircraft and the type made it debut on the 25th February with G-APYC flying from Stansted to Palma. The Comet proved a disaster for the airline and a spares shortage and technical difficulties forced it to buy an Mexicana Comet 4 in June 1971 which was immediately broken up to provide spares. The airline as a whole was in serious trouble and with fortunes continuing to decline all jet operations were suspended in January 1972. The airline ceased flying at the end of the following month. Requires the DH 106 Comet 4B model by David Maltby

LGAT Athens Hellinikon - Disused v3 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Version 3 of the scenery with refinements. This scenery includes the disused Athens, Greece, capital airport in its current status. Default FSX & P3D scenery do not include old LGAT airport at all and this why this scenery was created since the landsite still looks like this in that location. The airport closed in year 2002 after being replaced from Athens International Airport - Eleftherios Venizelos LGAV in March 2001. The northwest side of the airport was then used for Athens 2004 Olympics athletic installations and the southeast side remains disused. The scenery is a modification of Angelo Tassoglou (LGAT2B.ZIP) by permission of the author. It contains only basic stock MS objects without any custom items and therefore is very light in performance load. Angelo has moved the airport in the correct location where it should be (due to obsolete coordinates reference system used by MS). This, nowadays disused, airport is not meant to be used for flying in FS but only to have it visually correct when flying above. Version 3 removes some remaining ground taxiway lighting that was left in version 2.

Sauze and Val Susa (TO) Italy N45.05.52 E7.20.35 to N45.02.01 E6.50.00 Download

File Description:
Sauze and Val Susa (TO) Italy Abbey of San Michele della Chiusa, is an architectural complex perched on the summit of the Pirchiriano mountain, at the mouth of the valley of Susa N45.05.52 E7.20.35. The Fort of Exilles, N45.05.59 E6.56.10 is one of the most important defensive systems in Piedmont. Its position in the middle of a stretch of the high Susa Valley made it a strategic one. Around the Fort were born through the centuries many legends, but perhaps the most famous of all, is that related to a mysterious character the Iron Mask, better described by Alexandre Dumas in the novel of the same name. The village of Sauze d'Oulx N45.02.01 E6.50.00 includes the old alpine village where a large circular hotel built in the 1960's as a holiday center for the FIAT workers in the nearby Turin and higher, the new part formed by villas and hotels. Important VFR points for approching airport airport Torino or Val di Susa. Within the downloaded package you will find readme files for scenery installation. Good fly VFR. Pasquale Marrulli.
