File Description:
This is a repaint of one of the 2 aircraft used in the film "The High and The Mighty" (John Wayne and Robert Stack - 1954). This aircraft actually flew in this paint around Los Angeles and the bay area of southern California in November of 1953 for in-flight footage, so it's entirely fictional...but the airline was.
The original repaint was by Dave McQueen for Jens B. Kristensen's DC-4/C-54 version 2.0. I have updated it to make it compatable with the Jens' new version 2.1 (DC4_v21.zip) to use the DC-4-1009 airfile. Load your plane with 3050 gallons of fuel and balance out passengers and cargo to total 73,000 lbs. and you can duplicate flight #420 in the film! If you wish to shut down engine #1 and dump 200 gallons of fuel from the left wing and see if you can still get to San Fransico from Honolulu, that's up to you..but it is a challenge. This is a performance upgrade package for the payware Aerosoft F-16 (NOT the version available through Steam!). Aerosoft made an awesome-looking airplane with realistic cockpit details, cool g-vapor effects, but the way it flew was...well, not so great...until NOW. With this "VIPER 2.0" upgrade, your Aerosoft F-16 will fly like the REAL THING! 9g turns, 8-Point Rolls, Double Immelmans, Cuban-8's, etc, etc, etc. Cue up your favorite F-16 demo on YouTube and follow along! Or, head out to your favorite mountain region and enjoy zooming through the canyons at 500 feet and 500kts! (the Alps north of Aviano AB are awesome fun!). After this upgrade your Aerosoft F-16 will be one fun-to-fly flight sim jet!
**For those of you who downloaded and installed my first "VIPER Upgrade" about two years ago, the improvements in this version are...
Adjusted Rudder/Nose Wheel steering sensitivity for a softer, more realistic "feel" while taxiing & flying.
Ailerons have a "smoother/softer touch" for those tiny adjustments made on final approach
Adjusted drag factors on spoilers, flaps and gear to get optimal final approach AOA, airspeed and better "throttle authority".

File Description:
Retro AI flightplans and individual repaints for 78 aircraft of the Unites States Air Force 23 TFS, 81 TFS and 480 TFS of 52 TFW based at Spangdahlem [ETAD], Germany [version 2.0]. Two basic options included... Spangdahlem 1985: all three squadrons are equiped with F-4E and F-4G Phantoms all painted in "Euro1". Spangdahlem 1988: all three squadrons are equiped with F-16C/D Falcons and F-4G Phantoms of which most Phantoms are painted in "Euro1" and some of them in the grey "Hill" colour scheme. All the flightplans were individually tailored for the aircraft manually. This is to give a more realistic set of flightplans and is a massive update of Version 1.0 with retro destinations and additional flightplans added together with revised departure/arrival times. File Description:
This package consists of four programs, one of them my previously published AI Traffic Check, now as version 2.0, and three new utility programs. AI Traffic Check has been improved to give more detailed information on traffic BGL files (including boat traffic) and aircraft configuration.
AI Traffic Modifier can be used to modify aircraft configuration files of FS to update them to FSX standards. AI Traffic To FSX Converter converts AI traffic files of flight simulator from old format (FS9) to new format (FSX). The last one, AI Traffic Merger will find and re-install lost texture files of AI aircraft and at the same time new AI aircraft can be installed from a given source folder.

FS2004 Low Altitude Flight Plan for the U.S. Territories - This package includes 9 individual FS2004 flight plans for current IFR, VFR and Slow Speed Routes in the US. Territories of Guam and Puetro Rico. These are great routes for B-52, F-111, B-1B, B-2 A6, A4, Vulcan and any fighter or bomber enthusiasts. Of course you can fly the route with any aircraft of your choice. Also included in this package is Karol Chlebowski's TFR guage. This gauge will greatly enhance your ability to fly these challenging routes and are a great companion of the flight plans. Another option is to download Version 2.0 of my FS9 mini panel which has all this functionality and more.

This freeware scenery was created using digital pictures taken at the airfield, as well as real measures by Google Earth and official information at http://www.nav.pt/ais/VFRs/VISEU.pdf (it is supposed you download the file and read it carefully); there are obstacles as well as visual references... and I placed them in this scenery, see README doc included. This scenery have dawn, dusk and night effects; Static firefighter helicopter added and some terrain changes by Leonardo Santos
This scenery is to be used EXCLUSIVELLY with Portugal Terrain from PTSIM (http://www.ptsim.com)
