A collection of tips and tricks for FS2004 that work well on my modest setup. These may or may not work for you but you may wish to give them a try. This is in no way meant to be a comprehensive listing – just a few tips, tricks and ideas that I have come across. Hopefully you will find something of use, be you a newbie or a long time simmer.

I have included 2 paint schemes Red and Blue take the short hop to St. Louis for that weekend series go visit the small market farm teams or recruit at the colleges. This paint is in no way licensed by MLB or the Chicago Cubs. Check avsim often for all of my repaints. My next aircraft will be SGA/FFX 737-400. This mod removes the autogen scenery from the ESSEX AIRSTRIPS if not using VFR PHOTO SCENERY. These files serve only to compliment Pete Chapman's work, not alter or modify it in any way. It misses the point of Pete's work really as it flattens the runways a bit, but I couldn't find a solution for that... it just allowed me to fly with regular autogen on maximum. Elevations may differ slightly in online multiplayer to those using VFR scenery and the default ESSEX AIRTRIPS...Requires ESSEX AIRSTRIPS by Pete Chapman

File Description:
A repaint of IFDG's great Airbus A321. This aircraft is currently operating with EgyptAir. I’ve chosen this registration because this was the aircraft I flew in on my way back from my trip to Germany in September 2002. I flew from Düsseldorf to Cairo. We took-off 3.5 hours late (happens to me all the time) from RWY23L, arrived to Cairo at 11:30 PM on RWY5R. It was my second ever EgyptAir international flight, but I really enjoyed it. Cheers to a crew member who got me a lot of juice :)

File Description:
This is the NL2000 v2.9 scenery addon for Brasschaat (EBBT, Belgium). This scenery has a photoreal background based on the background from Luke van Bastelaer since his scenery for FS2000 doesn't work in FS2004. Thanks Luke!This addon was originally made for the default, but in NL2000 it would'nt appear in the right way. By placing all elevations to 0ft it worked again.
This Brasschaat scenery might also be released for the default scenery, but it isn't sure.
NO REAMDE included. Just install by unzipping and adding the file to the Scenery Library.

File Description:
A reworked AFCAD for Abuja, with sufficient parking positions for the full level of traffic serving this airport. - Gates assigned for British Airways, Lufthansa, Bellview Airlines, Virgin Nigeria and KLM. I put a Helipad in between the Runway and Terminal area to add a little bit of flavor, and also an ILS frequency for Runway 04. All taxiways have lighting to make it easier to find your way around at night. (Not that you could really get lost in Abuja!!). This AFCAD is not based on the real airport. For FS2004 use only

These macros place a raging fire with smoke effects wherever you place them.
1."Fire_10214" creates a fire that shows each day of the year, but only from 10:00 to 14:00, this way, you can create a scenery that wllows for fire-fighting, and if you time it that the fire-fighting aircraft arrives on target about 13:30, he has time to do a few "drops" and then the fire 'goes out", adding more realism and fun.
2."cntrl_Smokeyfire2" creates the same fire, but it is permanently on.

| Textpad XML Gauges Clip Libraries |

File Description:
Textpad (www.textpad.com) is a wonderful text-editor for windows, and a very good
way to edit XML gauges. One of Textpad's powerful features is it's Clip Library.
These are libraries of pre-defined code you can add to your documents by double
clicking on an entry. The clip libraries in this package include almost all of the
values from the FS2002 Gauges SDK, as well as the majority of the XML syntax used in them. Includes: K and A variables, HelpID's, Units, and XML Gauge syntax clip libraries.
