File Description:
FS2004 USAF/MATS Convair CV-240 VBF in colors of 1952. The Convair with cn 264 was one of a bunch of T-29B-CO (CV-240-27) delivered to the U.S. Air Force September 16, 1952 and on July 15, 1953 assigned to the 1299 Transport Squadron of Military Air Transport Service (MATS). The last operator of this Convair was the 86th Tactical Fighter Wing based at Stuttgart (Germany). She came to AMARC on May 06, 1975 and was sold off for scrap on November 23, 1994. Textures and associated model file included only. Requires cv240VBFmilitary_basepack_010.ZIP. P-40E Warhawk Download

File Description:
P40E Warhawk for x-plane 6.4-6.6 - The P-40 Warhawk built by Curtiss was developed from the P-36 simply by replacing the radial engine with the liquid cooled Allison 1720 V12 with 1125 HP. It was America's foremost fighter in service when WWII began. P-40s engaged Japanese aircraft during the attack on Pearl Harbor and the invasion of the Philipines in December 1941. They also were flown in China early in 1942 by the famed Flying Tigers and in North Africa in 1943 by the first AAF all-black unit, the 99th Fighter Squadron. The P-40 served in the Aleutian Islands, Italy, the Middle East, the Far East, the Southwest Pacific and some were sent to Russia. Though often outclassed by its adversaries in speed, maneuverability and rate of climb, the P-40 earned a reputation in battle for extreme ruggedness. At the end of the P-40's brilliant career, more than 14,000 had been produced for service in the air forces of 28 nations, of which 2,320 were of the "E" series.

F4U Corsair Download

File Description:
F4U Corsair for x-plane 6.4 to 6.6 - With its huge propeller (13'-4" diameter) and 2000 + HP engine it requires a lot of skill to just get this bird into the air. The torque on the plane is so high that a fair amount of left stick is required to keep the plane from rolling on takeoff. To handle all of this horsepower and keep the landing gear as short as possible the solution was to "crank" the wing giving the corsair its unique appearance. Visibility during takeoff and landings is terrible due to the long nose. Carrier landings have to be made by turning into the landing alignment. The plane is decorated in the skin of 86 where "Pappy" Boyington of the Black Sheep squadron was photographed before his last mission. In the Pacific pilots did not fly any specific plane as they did in the European theater but flew whatever was ready to go. If you look very closely you older simmers may recognize Robert Conrad who played Pappy Boyington in the TV series about the Black Sheep.

F-16C Fighting Falcon Block 50 'Aegean Ghost' Hellenic Air Force Download

File Description:
One of the most completed packs ever uploaded for FS. Full combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions, this "Aegean Ghost" repaint, is representing an F-16C Blok 50 in service of 341st Squadron of Hellenic Air Force. The fantastic model and realistic "metal looking" textures are made by Kirk Olson. The package contains realistic sounds made by Angelos Hatzikatakos. A new panel was made by Nick Karatzides who also modified the official checklist (by Lockheed Matrin Ltd.) for FS purposes and also wrote and a VERY completed flight manual (47 pages) which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. The panel uses realistic radar & HUD gauges combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions, made by Eric Marciano. This "F-16C_HAF_v2.zip" package is for EXPERIENCED FlightSimers and virtual pilots who have a "good feeling" on the controls and do not "kick" the contol stick while flying...It is for people who want to know how it looks to fly with a modern fighter. The package contains visual effects, night lighting, fine looking mechanical parts movement, contrails, realistic gears extracting / retracting etc.

Martinair 1998 AI Flightplans Download

File Description:
Martinair was Holland's premiere charter outfit for many years before consolidating to an all-cargo operation several years back. In 1998, Martinair had a large scheduled operation to supplement their charter operations with 747-200s, MD-11s, and 767-300s. The 747's only scheduled route was a weekly flight to Cancun(CUN/MMUN), the rest of the 747 flights are charters. All scheduled flights are included as well as charters that I based off information found around the internet and a wide range of destinations are served. Note that the airline was celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 1998 and many of the aircraft had special titles. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet and filenames to his textures are included. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. British Midland DC9-51 Early 90s paint scheme Download

File Description:
The DC9-51 brings a new aircraft fully compatible with FS2002 also seems compatible with FS2004 with some slight issues relating to the fuel / payload settings, we recommend you do not attempt to change this if running FS2004. You will find it made completely in Gmax. It features the latest reflection including dynamic shine, lighting, and animation technology including accurate flaps, landing gears, and thrust reversers and dynamic wing and engine views. This is a second release in a line of MD aircraft. The FDE is the superb FDE by Sam Chin with modifications by Mike Baumann (C)(2003), and the model is by Jonathan Stewart and Erick Cantu. This aircraft is truly a multi-group effort, one of many to come. The model itself is evidenced of this. The complete model is done by FlightFX. The lighting effects are by SGA. Base Textures by Erick Cantu, Mike Baumann and Takehiro Nakamura.
