File Description:
This scenery sits on top of "MegaSceneryX - Hawaii - Honolulu and Oahu Island", SO IT REQUIRES THE MEGASCENERY X - Hawaii - Honolulu & Oahu Island" photo scenery from http://www.megascenery.com/
This is primarily an Autogen scenery with some custom developed objects for the coast of Oahu.
I used autogens from default FSX for the most part as well as the FSX Acceleration. IF you did not install acceleration, it should not be an issue. you would just not see some of the autogens from the acceleration package. I have also included some custom built GMAX Objects with this package. There is also an AFCAD file for a new fictitious Heliport that is included ("PMMH)".
This scenery package also includes a Mission called "Oahu Sacred Falls Landing". It is a short mission without any surprises or twists, yet I am confident many of you would find it interesting and very very challenging. But do not be discouraged at the difficulty of completing the mission. You may want to turn off crash detection to make it easier if you'd like. The fun is in the journey..right?
Lastly, I have included a fix for my MM_PHNGv1 scenery as part of this package.

| Akulivik CYKO in northern Quebec Canada |

File Description:
This is another of the many airfields that are all around the coast of Hudson Bay, this one being on the eastern, Quebec side. Akulivik is around 110 miles south of Ivujivik, which is on the northeastern corner of the Bay, and some 60 miles north of Puvirnituq. The population is 630 or so and the village grew from a move back to the area by one family in 1973, followed by others in the following years; the closure of the Hudson Bay trading post post in 1952 had pushed all residents to move south to Puvirnituq. The village is unusual in that it has a built harbour instead of the usual beached storage of boats. The village is built on the central prong of a three pronged spear of headlands (from which the village name is derived) while the airfield is a mile or so further inland. I have no information regarding what I think may be a new terminal building, so this includes only the old original one. The runway is just under 3,500 feet of gravel aligned 09-27, and the ai includes the scheduled flight by an Air Inuit Dash 8-300, plus GA.

| Chilko Lake CAG3 & Scum Lake CAW3 in British Columbia Canada |

Chilko Lake and Scum Lake are both on the eastern side of the Coast Mountains of British Columbia. Chilko Lake CAG3 is around 30 miles south of Puntzi Mountain and at the northern end of the lake, serving Tsylos Park Lodge, which caters for trekking, horse riding, mountain biking, fishing etc. The runway is 3,200 feet of gravel aligned 18-36 and unlit, at 3,850 feet ASL (above sea level). Scum Lake is around 30 miles southeast of Puntzi Mountain and 25 miles northeast of Chilko Lake. Don't ask me about the name. The airstrip appears to serve a small village and is noted as "private", so perhaps also a lodge operation. The runway is 3,500 feet of gravel aligned 03-21, unlit and at 3,921 feet ASL. I have posted these as a separate scenery, but I suggest that you just add it to your previously created "BC airfields" and avoid the inevitable doubling up of common textures etc. Plus that way you will have just one FS9 library post to do and new airfields will not need yet another posting. Kugluktuk is on the coast of northern mainland Canada on the mouth of the Coppermine River. It is around 250 miles west of Cambridge Bay and 200 miles south of Ulukhaktok. Tuktoyaktuk is 450 miles west. Kugluktuk used to be called Coppermine as copper was mined along the banks of the river and used for spear and arrow heads, and this attracted a semi-permanent population. The population now numbers around 1,450. The airfield is inland from the village and the 5,500 feet of 100 feet wide gravel runway is aligned 121T/3301T where T stands for "true" as opposed to magnetic in the Northern Domestic Airspace. Both JETA-1 and 100LL are available, dispensed by a truck as the storage tanks are just off the northern edge of the field. There are flights by First Air and Canadian North and the AI includes a daily flight of each, plus a cargo visit by Buffalo; the closest large city is Yellowknife, 375 miles south. I should have mentioned a long time ago that to see the apron lights working requires you to have the "lights_ss_v2" by Sidney Schwartz installed.

| Mackar Inlet CWMI in Nunavut, Canada |

File Description:
Mackar Inlet was a DEW line Auxiliary Station on the west shore of the Melville Peninsula, which is part of the northern Canadian mainland. The station was closed only in 1992, so it is relatively intact. Hall Beach is 120 miles to the east, on the eastern shore of the peninsula, and Kugaaruk is just over 100 miles to the west. The runway is still in good condition and is around 3,800 feet of gravel 110' wide, aligned 164T/344T and at 100 feet ASL. The station buildings are up on the hill at 1,350 feet ASL and 5 miles to the south. None of these DEW line stations are particularly impressive or even interesting. However, you can bet that any pilot flying regularly in the north along the coast knows where all these runways are, in case one of them suddenly becomes his favourite in the whole world just after the sudden silence. I should have mentioned a long time ago that to see the apron lights working (on my fields that HAVE apron lights) requires you to have the "lights_ss_v2" by Sidney Schwartz installed.

Whakatane Airport (ICAO: NZWK) is a small airport serving the town of Whakatane in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. It consists of a Asphalt runway flanked with a parallel grass strip and a helipad. While not a particularly busy aerodrome, there are daily movements by Air New Zealand/Eagle Airways Beech 1900Ds, general aviation movements including agricultural aircraft, training flights from the flight school and scenic flights to White Island off the coast of the Bay of Plenty.
Of particular interest is the main terminal, designed by Roger Walker in the modernist style. It has survived in its original form since its construction in the 1970’s and gives a cheerful welcome to visitors disembarking to discover the many natural and cultural attractions in the region.
This particular airport is of interest to me as I began my real world flying training there originally with Scott Air and later with Air Discovery (www.airdiscovery.co.nz) As well as flight training, they also fly scenic tours of White Island and Mount Tarawera.
This Scenery Features: High resolution 10cm imagery for the airport including night map, Custom made buildings including night lighting and window reflections, extensive trees and grass.

| HEMM Mersa Matruh, Egypt |

File Description:
Googly scenery for HEMM Mersa Matruh - a large Air Base near the north coast of
Egypt. Marsa Matruh, as the town should be spelt, is a seaport 150 miles west of
Alexandria but its main function today is that of a holiday resort for the
residents of Cairo. It does not have an airport of its own, but uses a small
corner of the Air Base for civilian flights. Microsoft Flight Simulator has
made no provision for any traffic at this airport and this scenery seeks to
redress the situation.
Scheduled flights are operated by Egyptair Express using Embraer 170 jets,
but other airlines call here from time to time, such as Air Sinai and Midwest
Airlines.
The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality
satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the
added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects
and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing.
You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries,
but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine,
with or without.

The town of Barrow is in the far north of Alaska, and these are coastal villages or radar installations to the west, south, and now east of Barrow. There will be further additions. Nuiqsut is a mainly Inuit community on the west side of the Colville River, around 20 miles south of the coast, and with a slowly declining population of around 420 or so. The airfield is just south of the town and has a gravel runway 5,000 feet long and aligned 04-22 in FS9. The airfield is the only year-round contact route to the rest of the world, though there are plans for a permanent road. The AI includes daily passenger flights early and late in the day, cargo deliveries, and some GA. It seems that the only photos I had of the airport were either of the old building or were not of Nuiqsut at all. The only pic I have seen (recently, which is why I now have doubts) of the new building is insufficient to model it, so I am sticking with the old or maybe incorrect version.

MIAMI CITY X DEMO features an extremely detailed scenery of Miami City in Florida, United States, fully compatible with FSX/FSX:SE/P3Dv1/P3Dv2/P3Dv3/P3Dv4 and FSW by Dovetail.
This Demo version of the commercial product is a fully functional freeware scenery, perfectly aligned with the full payware version. This ensures no problems with online (VATSIM, IVAO and multiplayer) flying in case some users have the payware scenery and some don't. The demo gives a few downtown buildings and AFCAD files for KMIA, KTMB and KOPF airports.
Miami is a city located on the Atlantic coast in southeastern Florida and the county seat of Miami-Dade County. This product gives you the possibility to fly over a very large area of Miami City, with ground, autogen, hundrieds of custom-made photoreal buildings, including lite sceneries of KMIA, KTMB and KOPF airports.
It's equipped with an automatic installer, which means that the scenery will be automatically added to the Flight Simulator Scenery Library.
Please uninstall all previous versions of this airport you may have installed before. Please make also sure that no duplicated AFCAD files are installed.
