Fire in Tau Island

File Description:

This scene recreates a series of fires in Tau Island.
You are a rescuer!
The mission starts by taking off in Pago-Pago Airport (NSTU) and fly to Fitiuta Airport (FAQ). Take a truck and go by coast road to Tau Airport (HI36), out of service by fire. Rescue the settlers at the end of the road and return to the Fitiuta Airport. Take again again your plane and take off to Pago-Pago Airport with the rescued settlers, where they will receive hospitable attention.

Lapangan Terbang Sandakan, Sabah (WBKS)

Sandakan is a town in Sabah, eastern Malaysia, on the island of Borneo. It is located on the east coast of Sabah and was the former capital of British North Borneo. Sandakan is famous as the gateway for ecotourism destinations such as the Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary,Turtle Islands Park, Kinabatangan River and Gomantong Cave. It is also infamous for being the site from where the Sandakan Death March commenced in 1945. For people living and working in the immediate area of Sandakan, the airport provides a fast access to the rest of the country. The airport is also a major tourism gateway

Ellington FIeld - Houston, TX (KEFD)

File Description:
This airport was requested by a fellow simmer, and it was so interesting, I had to do it. Aside from being a civil airport, Ellington Field houses the Texas Air National Guard, the Texas Army National Guard, the US Coast Guard, NASA, and also serves UPS. I added Military_Cargo and Military_Combat parking spaces. I added the fire station and fire trucks. I moved and replaced the control tower, removed and replaced many of the default buildings and added additional buildings. Added static fork trucks, fuel trucks, parking lots with cars, NASA vehicles, and light poles. Added, removed, or adjusted taxiways and aprons.

Nellis Air Force Base - KLSV

File Description:
This file contains several BGL's which enhance the default FSX Nellis Air Force Base (KLSV ). I have added some ramp parking for miltary aircraft. Additionally, I have added several scenery objects to enhance the visual experience. The other change I made was to eliminate the "mesa effect" caused by the stock FSX airport as it sits above/below the surrounding terrain using "sloped flattens" to blend the airport level terrain into the surrounding terrain. I am using the "FSX Usa 10 M terrains Project - West Coast Version 1.1" mesh but the default FSX mesh should blend O.K.

File Description:
This package contains all four Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvairs which at various times between 1965 and 1972 have been operated by the French airline Compagnie Air Transport, i.g. Carvair #4 F-BMHU 'Henri Malon', Carvair #5 F-BMHV 'Cdt Max Guedj', Carvair #10 F-BRPT 'Commandant Charles' and Carvair #15 'President Gamel'. Initially CAT purchased the Carvairs for the car-ferry service Nice-Corsica, but soon they were also used for medium- and long-haul freight services. These are textures only. This file requires Jon Walton's freeware Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair (jwat98.zip or jwat98_2k2.zip). Repaints, based on Jon Walton's original textures, by Maarten Brouwer.

Zoom Airways (Bangladesh) Hawker-Siddeley HS-748

File Description:
Zoom Airways is a small regional / domestic cargo carrier operating out of Zia International Airport (VGZR) in Dhaka, Bangladesh; the fleet currently includes only a single Hawker-Siddeley HS-748 (S2-ADL), though there is speculation another aircraft or two may be added to the inventory in the near future. Meanwhile, this repaint will help add a little cargo traffic to your Bangladesh airports; flightplans for Zoom produced by Max Habinghorst are available at Avsim (zoom_airways_bangladesh_ai_flightplans.zip). This repaint is designed for Dee Waldron's AI HS-748 and includes the main texture, a scaled-down lightmap, and modified prop texture. Repaint by John R. Brooker, model by Dee Waldron.

RAM Aircraft Inc Beech Baron STC Conversion

File Description:
This is the stock Beechcraft Baron 58 set up with a an aftermarket STC coversion package from RAM Aircraft, Inc of Waco, Texas. The package replaces the factory 300hp Continental IO-550-C engines with new 325hp TSIO-520-WB Turbocharged engines, giving a 50hp increase, and the sustained power of the turbochargers means a 100lb increase in Max GW, sustained 1500fpm climb rates, and 200 kt cruise speeds. It also includes new McCauley BlackMac Props, Defeathering accumulators, new exhaust, and PowerFlite 100-amp alternators. Also included are new extended range fuel cells giving a total to 190 gallons. Also includes a replacement 2d panel with gauges from various authors.
