FSX Bob Hope Airport KBUR Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Welcome to Bob Hope Airport (KBUR) in Burbank California. KBUR is one of my favorite airports to fly into. Runway 8 is used for landing and if you are long and still in the air you better do a go-around. Some may remember when a Southwest 737 punched through the fence and ended up on N Hollywood Way. There is an EMAS there now. Hangar 71 is open and you can start from there by selecting "Parking 54" for your start. I added a couple of vehicle paths that cross both runways to keep the vehicle traffic off of the taxiways All runways and taxiways conform to the current FAA Airport Diagram (copy included). All the structures are new.

Runway Ground Roll Sound for Jets Download

File Description:
After years of research watching airliner videos, flying real airplanes into and out of big airports where runways are filled with sounds from the centerline lighting, bumps, and pavement gaps - I have perfected the ground roll sound. I find this one so bold, clean and clear, that nothing else compares. I have tried them all... ones with freeware and payware aircraft. Assembled myself over one month time. Recommended for 1Gig memory computers ONLY. Anything less may cause a pause during touchdown as sound must load. On a 1Gig machine, there is no pause and the touchdown followed by rolling on landing is awesome. Takeoffs are as loud and rumbly as they should be! You'll experience rattles, centerline clump clump clump and more!

Santa Cruz - Bolivia, Viru Viru International SLVR / VVI Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Thank you for downloading this scenery. This is a very basic rebuild of Viru Viru Int'l Airport. This airport serves as a major hub for Lloyd Aereo Biolivia and Aerosur. It is also a technical stop for long haul flights out of the more mountainous cities of Bolivia. Most aircraft cannot takeoff from airports like La Paz El Alto with a full load of fuel because of its 13,000ft elevation, and Viru Viru is close to sea level.

This scenery has a rebuilt terminal, jetways, baggage carts, and an AFCAD with added parking. There was very little information available other than sat photos, so it is not perfectly correct or photoreal, but it is a good basic representation.

Boeing B-17G 91st BG (OR-R) 'Nine O Nine' Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G-30-BO 'Nine o nine". Nine-O-Nine was a Boeing B-17G-30-BO Flying Fortress heavy bomber, of the 323rd Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group, that completed 140 combat missions during World War II, believed to be the Eighth Air Force record for most missions, without loss to the crews that flew it. The original aircraft, a block 30 B-17G manufactured by Boeing, was nicknamed after the last three digits of her serial number: 42-31909. Nine-0-Nine was added to the USAAF inventory on December 15, 1943, and flown overseas on February 5, 1944. After depot modifications, she was delivered to the 91st BG at RAF Bassingbourn, England, on February 24, 1944, as a replacement aircraft, one of the last B-17s received in factory-applied camouflage paint. A former navigator of the 91st BG, Marion Havelaar, reported in his history of the group that Nine-O-Nine completed either 126 or 132 consecutive missions without aborting for mechanical reasons, also believed to be a record. M/Sgt. Rollin L. Davis, maintenance line chief of the bomber, received the Bronze Star for his role in achieving the record. Her first bombing raid was on Augsburg, Germany, on February 25, 1944. She made 18 bombing raids on Berlin. In all she flew 1,129 hours and dropped 562,000 pounds of bombs. She had 21 engine changes, four wing panel changes, 15 main gas tank changes, and 18 changes of Tokyo tanks (long-range fuel tanks). After the hostilities ceased in Europe, Nine-O-Nine was returned to the United States on June 8, 1945, and was consigned to the RFC facility at Kingman, Arizona on December 7, 1945, and eventually scrapped. B-17G-85-DL, 44-83575, civil registration N93012, owned and flown by The Collings Foundation, Stow, Massachusetts, flew marked as the historic Nine-O-Nine until its crash on the 2nd of October 2019. The U.S. Virgin Islands (TISX/TIST) Download

File Description:
Accurate rendition of the TIST and TISX airports. Includes accuarate gate numbering and locations for all airlines serving the airport as well as for general aviation aircraft. This is my continuing series of doing airports that have been neglected by both MS and the community. Hopefully this will enhance flying into this airport for those of you that frequent it. Unfortuantely there aren't many reference materials in terms of gate assignments or locations or numbering on the internet. I've flown in and out of this airport several times so most of this is from memory and a few shots I managed to find on airliners.net and jetphotos.net. It may not be 100% correct but it's pretty close and defientely a major improvement over the default scenery, which by the way...MS decided to place two large cell phone or radio towers right on the tarmac in front of the terminal, brilliant idea! If anyone out there knows of a way to remove them please e-mail me. Having said that, it's a beautiful island and a fun airport to fly into and out of. The St. Croix airport is also pretty much done from memory and a few photos since there isn't much reference material for gates, in this instance there aren't airline assignments to the gates since this is a smaller airport and the airlines pretty much are assigned random gates since there are only about a handful of gates. Again, though, definetely an improvement over the default. Now if only someone would do some landclass for the Virgin Islands ;-) Hope this enhances your flying into the sunny Caribbean!

Castle Bamburgh United Kingdom N 55 36.32 W 1 42.35 Download

File Description:
Castle Bamburgh United Kingdom N 55 36.32 W 1 42.35 Bamburgh’s written history begins in the times of the Anglo-Saxons with one chronicler citing Bamburgh as probably the most important place in all of England. But even before this there were people living here, there is archaeological evidence that as early as 10,000 BC there were people here. There are Bronze Age (2,400 -700BC) burials nearby and pottery sherds dating to the Iron Age (700 BC – 43AD). With little evidence of their occupation only the name Din Guayrdi gives us a hint that Romans were sometime between 43AD and 410AD. Important VFR point for approaching at various airports. Within the downloaded package you will find readme files for scenery installation. Good fly VFR. Pasquale Marrulli.

MYAM - Marsh Harbour, Andros, The Bahamas Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Marsh Harbour is the third busiest airport in the Bahamas, and now has a new runway, a new terminal, and the addition of a control tower and fire station. Completion of scenery for Marsh Harbour has been delayed since beginning work on the Bahamas' airports due to construction and a long delay in opening the new facilities, which occurred on May 27, 2014. There are currently no plans for opening the control tower, and it is not operational in this scenery. The scenery includes custom scenery objects, placement of library objects and landclass changes. Scenery is based on Google Earth and photos taken locally, and it is optimized for use with UTX-TAC. Some scenery details have changed from what is shown in screenshots included with the installation package.
