File Description:
This is Wayne Adams' P-51D racer that placed 3rd in the 1965 Harold's Club Transcontinental Trophy Dash from Florida to Reno. Adams placed 3rd in 1965 behind Clay Lacy, but had finished first in 1964. What slowed Adams down was the fact that he was laden down with fuel and flew non-stop, rather than making the fuel stops.

File Description:
Repaint of the Reno Race Package P-51. N6522D was a Cavalier Converted Mustang with the long range tanks built into the fuselage and the wing tips. Many Mustangs were painted the same as N6522D, but 22D is more historically prominent because it participated in the last Cross-Country Air Race. File Description:
FSX Repaint for the freeware Basler BT-67 Navy C40. The Basler BT-67 is a very modernized and upgraded DC-3 aircraft. The BT-67 has an enlongated fuselage, new cockpit and avionics, new larger loading doors, turbine engines with 5 bladed propellers and low drag nacelles. This is a fictional paint scheme that is what I would do if the Navy let me paint BT-67 to look like a C40 transport.
