File Description:
This archive contains the files needed to merge the payware Friendly Panels gauges into the freeware AFG Kingair's virtual cockpit. Additionally a multitude of "magnify" windows have been incorporated into the panel making it 'friendly' for the visually impaired as well. Custom views (wingviews) have been added, and the AFG virtual cockpit panel textures have been updated to blend well with the Friendly Panels gauges and improve overall appearance. A custom scripted MS-DOS batch configuration utility quickly and convieniently configures any one of four different GPS options on the GPS panel window. You'll need the payware Friendly Panels Beech Panel Package and the freeware AFG Kingair installed to use these files. Links provided in the readme.

This file contains an updated 2D panel with working yoke wich can be hided or shown by a switch, and Updated VC Panel with working yoke and a GPS window wich can be hided or shown by a switch.
The gauges are custum made... To install just copy and paste the panel folder to Your default "c172 - folder" and overwrite the default panel, or rename the default panel folder to old_panel, in case You dont like this update...

This is a panel modification for the famous Aero Commander 520 (no VC version)
by Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas and André Folkers. I have made new bitmaps for
the main panel and the zoom panel, and the zoom, avionic and GPS-windows now
can be switched by mouse using click spots.

Tail-Nr. 53-3240, c/n 44611 in colors of
1962. In presidential service from 1961 to
1966, since 1978 preserved at Pima Air &
Space Museum loaned by U. S. Air Force Museum.
Was actually designated the official presidential
aircraft in the early years of the Kennedy
administration and remained part of the
presidential fleet during the Kennedy-Johnson
administration, even though the White House
had acquired a Boeing VC-137. The essential
"Air Force One" for all FS2002 propliner fans.

| Douglas VC-54C-1-DO 'Sacred Cow' |

File Description:
Built a C-54A-5-DO Skymaster at Santa Monica, CA, for the USAAF (c/n 7470) and delivered on 26 January 1944. Converted to VC-54C-1-DO for personal use by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Irreverent journalists promptly named it 'Sacred Cow'. The VC-54C contained an electric elevator to lift the polio-struck Roosevelt and his wheelchair on board. The elevator was raised from the ground into the aircraft's belly for which purpose a hatch in the bottom of the fuselage could be opened. President Roosevelt made only a few flights with the 'Sacred Cow', the most famous journey being to and from the Yalta Conference with Stalin and Churchill in the Soviet Union.
Following the death of Roosevelt, his successor Harry S. Truman continued using the 'Sacred Cow' till July 1947. Nowadays the aircraft is on display at the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, be it with a different serial number. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.
