Project Opensky is extremely pleased to release the VC-25A variant of the 747-200 V4 series!!! This package includes both 82-8000 and 92-9000 variants of the VC-25A. ***THIS IS VERSION 2 OF THE ORIGINAL RELEASE!!!*** Updates from V1: Photoreal gear rims and tires, custom fan blade textures w/ transparent effects, changed color [blue], "spick-n-span" wings [they're clean], polished aluminum surfaces, pistine & clean-cut appearance overall. Fly her with PRIDE!!! Alternante FDE by Nick Peterson [POSKY] also included [installed by default. More details in the Package]. Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trialing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. Also--VC-25A-specific exits have been modeled along with the functioning of the air-to-air refueling probe at the nose of the plane and specific antenna locations for both schemes of the VC-25A. This is an extensive VC rework for the neat RNZAF CT-4E Airtrainer v2 "Red Checkers Team" by Frat Bros Design. New VC highres textures with 3D effect and proper perspective. New panel configuration with adjusted gauges. Approved by Nigel Booth who designed this little beauty. For FS2004 payware version, Maybe someone with the FSX freeware plane can test it... Check the tweaked Red Checkers #2 paint to go with the new cockpit.

| Douglas VC-118-DO 'The Independence' |

File Description:
This Douglas VC-118-DO was the personal aircraft of President Harry S. Truman. It was named 'The Independence' after President Truman's home town in Missouri. The aircraft was delivered on 1 July 1947 and served from 4 July 1947 on as a presidential aircraft till 1953 when Gen. Dwight Eisenhower became President of the USA. It seems that the rather special paint job was based on an idea by President Truman himself. 46-0505 served on as a general VIP transport till 1966 when it was donated to the Smithonian Institute for preservation. It is on loan to the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.'The Independence' could accommodate for 24 day or 12 sleeper passengers (in the main cabin). It had a luxurious State Room aft of the passenger door. Usually there was a crew of eight. It is featured here in its original tan, blue and metal livery. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great FS2004 Douglas DC-6 (early version) (dc6_v20.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

File Description:
This repaint is intended for the SibWings payware Cessna O-1 Birddog for FSX. These textures are updated to version 1.2 of the aircraft.
The aircraft depicted served with the Canadian Army in West Germany in the mid to late '60s. Colour-scheme worn is the wraparound disruptive camouflage consisting of dark green/dark earth.
In addition to the diffuse textures, I also created new external bump maps using the method described in the FSX SDK. Instrument panel textures are also custom made.
