Steamboat Springs (KSBS), Flat Tops Wilderness Area, Colorado, Photo-Scenery (FS9 & FSX)
The Flat Tops Wilderness Area, which is the second largest wilderness area in Colorado, is named for its many flat topped mountains that are clearly visible from the sky. Trappers Lake, located in the north of the area inspired Arthur Carhart, a US Forest Service official, to initiate a plea for Wilderness preservation as early as 1919. Finally in 1975, three years before his death in 1978, the Flat Tops were designated a wilderness area. No wonder he found the area so entrancing: Behind Trappers Lake loom majestic volcanic cliffs, and beyond them a vast subalpine terrain reluctantly yields to alpine tundra with an average elevation of about 10.000 feet. More than 100 lakes dot the country above and below numerous flat-topped cliffs. Steamboat Springs is an internationally known winter resort destination.
To explore the scenery depart from Steamboat Springs Airport (KSBS) or Yampa Valley Airport (KHDN) and head south. The textures are 4096x4096, and I've edited the BUMP files to TRY to remove most of the textures for the windows and doors I've removed from the livery. Not perfect, but a work in progress.

FS2004 Erick Cantu Boeing 727-200 DHL. This is the long awaited 727 from Erick Cantu. This archive includes the model, and is ready to fly once unzipped! This model includes dynamic shine, Spectacular animations, opening doors and cockpit windows, full and accurate lighting, and outstanding wing views. I have included new wing and exhaust textures for this paint. She also has flexing wings which are amazing to see as you lift off, and esp. in heavy turbulance!!!! Also, the model includes interior wing views so you can view them as a passenger! Please see both included readme's in the file. Specical note: This plane includes the cargo textures. When Erick releases the cargo model, these textures will work with it.

This paint used a Posky's 737-800 paintkit and modifyed for -700. With friendly permission of the POSKY members, thank you very much! I'd added new window textures, pushback tuck textures and also some nice detailes. Model features: Dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence. Fully Animated control surfaces, pushback truck with animated ground crew, opening doors & cargodoors, accurate FDE, highly detailed textures, and lots more that you'll just have to find! This package includes the winglet model. Soundset can be downloaded separately. WORKS ONLY IN FS2004.

This bird will start operations with flights between Mexico City, Madrid Barajas (LEMD), Paris Charles De Gaulle (LFPG), Sao Paulo (GRU) and coming soon... Tijuana - Tokio, Narita (RJAA). The aircraft model includes "Maintenance Mode", where you can open the engines and look inside, deploy the Ram Air Turbine, open the cockpit window, open the gear bay doors while on the ground, folding wings, flexing wings, full animations, dynamic shine, reflective surfaces. A memorial to a once great airline. This livery graced the TWA L-1011 from 1980 to 1995. Trans World Airlines closed its doors in 2000 after 75 years of service. Another of the original great airlines succumbed to the corporate greed of wall street and the incompetence of upper level management.
This file contains textures only for the beautiful Gmax model by Mike Stone. The wings, pylon, windows and engine textures are completely new to this model and better represent the look of the real aircraft. All textures contain a mix of 32 bit 888-8 and DXT3 formats with no mips, to insure clarity with minimal loss of frame rates plus custom alphas for realistic reflections.

I love old stuff, so here's some vintage (or maybe just plain old) hangers in a variety of sizes and styles. Some have animated doors. All have night lighting and most use multiple LOD (Levels Of Detail) to be more frame-rate friendly.
Version 3+ adds specific compatibility with RWY12, ADE9X, and Sbuilder 2.05. If you have already installed the previous version of this library and are NOT using one of these programs to place scenery objects, you do not need to download and install V3+. V3+ also includes the updated textures from SS_Textures_update_1.zip. Installing V3+ should not affect any scenery made using objects from previous versions.

Repaint of Boeing E767-27C Awacs 'Thunder Head' 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "War Dog" - Ace Combat 5. He supports the War Dog Squadron through out the war. He is commonly referred to as Thunder "Block Head" by Chopper. After the War Dog are shot down, he is assigned to another squadron. Thunder Head supports the 8492nd TFS as they pursue the War Dog during their escape. When the War Dog disappear, then reappear, Thunder Head vectors Marcus Snow onto them and they are shot down.
