Last Offline Update - October 2006 - for EditVoicepack 3.1

File Description:
Classic but still used by many simmers: EditVoicepack 3.1 for FS2004. One of the options at the time, was the (manual) Offline Update. That ended around 2009. And by now also the developer himself, Lars Moellebjerg, can no longer provide this update anymore. Lost in time it seemed.

Version 3.1 is still available for download on the official site, but it does NOT contain the last Offline Update, according to several forum threads here and there. Fortunately, I found the update on the outskirts of my hard drive. Lars kindly granted me permission to upload it to AVSIM.

Qatar Airways A330-300 'Al 'Ramlia' - Doha 2006

File Description:
A7-AEF (cn 721) "Al Ramlia" (Version 1.0). After I did the A7-AEG a couple of months ago, it sounded logical this one would follow soon. Since I've been busy doing Wilco's Volume 2 330's it took a little longer... Anyway, here she is : A hand drawn recreation of the CLS A330-302 in Qatar Airways Doha 2006 special livery (yellow/orange). This particular plane was delivered to Qatar Airways exactly two years ago (17 february 2006) and has 'The games of your life' titles on the aft section of the fuselage. I am also repainting the A7-AEE, which too is yellow but with 'Let the spirit move you' titles. You will be able to download these textures from our website, along with future updates/fixes. As always, this repaint is dirty, weathered, worn down and torn up. I redid the windows, as well as the nighttextures. These are textures only and intended for use on the Commercial Level Simulations Airbus A330 package. Installation is easy via the livery manager or if you please ; manually. Fly safe, land safe and enjoy the paint!

The 2006 Maine Military AI Aircraft and Airbases

File Description:
The NorthEastern USA Military AI Aircraft and Airbase Collection Part 1: 2006 Maine Military AI Aircraft and Airbases package is the first in a series of complete Military AI packages that will cover all the currently active military aviation units in the New England states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island along with New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This first package includes represenative AI fixed and rotary wing aircraft for all the military aviation units currently operating in the state of Maine, AFCADs for Bangor International Airport (KBGR) and Naval Air Station Brunswick (KNHZ) and novel and unique demonstration flightplans utilizing all of the above. Complete AI versions or conversions of such aircraft as the USN P-3C, USNR C-130T, USN SH-60B, USN HH-1N, ME ANG KC-135E, ME ARNG UH-60A, ME ARNG/CD RAID OH-58R, OSACOM C-12D and VT ANG F-16C (refueling flight conversion) are included. My thanks to John Young for the use of a modification of his excellent KBGR scenery version 3 and to Henry Tomkiewicz, Mike Stone, Jordan Moore, Owen Hewitt and Rok Dolonec for the use of their excellent aircraft models. Sounds Air, New Zealand - 2 Flights - Sep 2006

File Description:
Two little flights - set in the modern era, which is a departure for me - that are replicas of the real-world services offered by New Zealand's "Sounds Air" company. As well as providing scenic flights and charters they also operate timetabled services between Wellington and locations across Cook Straight in the South Island, such as Picton, Nelson and Kaikoura, the latter two being featured here. Their web-site is at ->> http://www.soundsair.com/ <<- and is worth a visit as there is full information relating to the timetables and also some great photographs. The aircraft used in this re-enactment - KLC - is also featured. The FS2004 model - the GA-8 Airvan by Mike Stone - is available at his site:- www.pmstone.com. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (KCVG) 2006 Update

File Description:
Update to the KCVG-2006 scenery which added the new runway 18R/36L to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Based on some feedback, a bgl file which flattens the airport terrain has been created, thereby eliminating the bleed-through issue some were experiencing. There were also some minor tweaks made to some of the taxiways in the AFCAD file. In addition, Nick Stavropoulos has updated the AFCAD file to add 185 gates and parking for Delta/Delta connection, COA connection, NWA/NWA Jet Link, UAL/UAL Express, American Eagle, USAir, FedEX, USA3000, Miami Air and GA parking.

File Description:
this is an updated version of the default p3d airport: *airac 2006* -corrected runway dimensions/markings/lighting configurations -added runway 11/29 -new ramps, terminal and parking -new taxiways and signage my intent is to have a functional and current airport, not eye candy. the idea is to pretty much match the real charts for online use (vatsim, etc). not tested with any type of AI traffic or atc.

Atlantic Airways (Faroe Island) Winter 05/06

File Description:
This is a flightplan for Atlantic Airways, the national airline of Faroe Island serving destinations in Denmark, Norway, UK and Iceland. This release is covering the week between 9th of January 2006 to 15th of January 2006. In this week the airline only have services between Faroe Island and Denmark. The company have a fleet of BAe 146-200. Repaints for the aircraft can be found in the Project AI Files Library, and repiant for Fernando Martinez' BAe 146-200 AI model can be found here on AVSIM. I have included both a MRAI installation file and files for TTools by Lee Swordy. Enjoy!

YFOR Fortnum Gold Mine and airstrip (in care and maintenance)

File Description:
YFOR The Fortnum mine closed in April 2007, having only reopened in July 2006, when the then-owner Gleneagle Gold Limited went into receivership. It was sold to Eagle Gold Mines Limited in 13 December 2007, which, in turn, went into receivership in 2009, now renamed Grosvenor Gold Pty. Limited. The future of the mine remains uncertain. Approximate figure for the period from July 2006 to April 2007, calculated from gold sales of A$21,000,000 at an average of A$800 per ounce in this time.
