The island of Sicily contains numerous communities. Of them 104 are represented specially in the coast. 5 airports exist plus two aerodromes. The following islands have been "urbanized": Stromboli,Lipari,Salina,Vulcano,Filicudi,Alcudi,Favignana,Maraona,Ustica,Pantelleria, Lampedusa and Linosa. Replacement for the previous version that was lost because of the Avsim hack.

Now the ATC voice can properly refer to this assortment of AI, ground vehicles, and aircraft ranging from the exotic to the mundane to the overlooked. Highlights of this group include Eagle, United Federation of Planets, General Dynamics, Graf, Fuji, Rocket, Pipistrel, Pitcairn, Plage, Pober, Porterfield, and Sky Arrow.

This folder contains a repaint for the Percival Sea Prince by Rob Richardson, in the colors of Hunting Percival Tp-83 83008 Pembroke #08 of F11 Squadron of the Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force), based in Skavsta. One of 16 Pembrokes operated by the Swedish Air Force, the aircraft still exists and is on exhibiton at the Flygvapenmuseum in Linköping, painted as #85 of F13. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Rob Richardson.

YGNW Gnowangerup Shire Airstrip. The Shire of Gnowangerup is a Local Government Area in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, about 120 kilometres north of Albany and about 370 kilometres southeast of the capital, Perth. The Shire covers an area of 4,268 square kilometres, and its seat of government is the town of Gnowangerup. Gnowangerup was initially gazetted as a Road Board in 1912, taking in eastern sections of Broomehill and Tambellup. On 1 July 1961, it became a Shire Council following changes to the Local Government Act. The area of gnowangerup is mainly wheat sheep on sandplain country. In the 1960's it was reported to have good rainfall but when the clearing started, the rainfall changed. Farmers who managed large properties were able to survive because of the economies of scale. At regular intervals, farmers in this area now have to cart water for their stock. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

There are four main northwestern Alaska towns which are serviced by Alaska Airlines, and from which local flights spread out. The northernmost is Barrow. Southwest of Barrow is Kotzebue, then Nome, and the furthest south is Bethel (not yet made). This is the first in a series for flights from Nome, and it is Shishmaref, 125 miles north of Nome on the far side of the Seward Peninsula.
Shishmaref is a village on one of a string of islands off the northern shore of the Seward Peninsula, with a population of around 560. Like other similarly-sited villages (Kivalina, for instance) it is feeling the effects of coastal erosion and there are plans for a relocation, eventually. The airfield is just beside the village, with a runway of just under 5,000 feet of lit asphalt aligned 05-23, with PAPI on both ends. There are scheduled flights by Era (now renamed Ravn) and by Bering Air, both of them originating in Nome. The AI includes these flights along with Everts Air and GA.

File Description:
Made in December 2018 as an update of the original post of 2014, to correct the apron markings, revise the AI, increase the number of GA parking spots, and most importantly to correct the runway lighting by adding the missing approach lights. This scenery is complete and can be installed as-is without first installing the 2014 version. Smithers is in northwest BC, 60 miles east and a bit north of Terrace, and directly east of the southern border of Alaska. The town has a population of 5,500 and is set in a north-south valley between mountains, the most impressive of which is Hudson Bay Mountain to the west. The airport is to the north of the town and has a single runway of 7,544 feet, aligned 33-15. The main user is Central Mountain Air, who are headquartered in Smithers and have a large maintenance hangar there next to the terminal building. The airport has scheduled flights by Central Mountain Air, Jazz, and Hawk Air, which are in the AI. The AI provided here is a new CYYD traffic bgl; in total the AI also includes a Dawson Creek traffic bgl (recently revised and posted) plus a Terrace traffic bgl (which will shortly be revised and posted). An Electra of Conair (who are the largest operator of fire fighting planes in BC, and have re-fill tanks in Smithers) is included and also a HS 748 of Air North.
