| KTPA - Tampa International Airport, Florida |
|
File Description:
This is a Ray Smith's scenery file "fsx_rs.zip". Ray has given me permission to make his file available for Prepar3D v3. This is a very accurate rendition for KTPA to reflect today's situation with two optional files: One version with the Crosswind runway operating where all 3 runways will be used for Takeoff/Landing and one version as the default airport runway operation, all 3 runways now renumbered to 1L/19R, 1R/19L (the 1's are now the primaries) and 10/28, all approach data corrected for these runways, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, the Fedex ramp completely rebuilt, assigned parking as per their website with extra parking, new control tower, extra fuel trucks, lighted helipad, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other scenery improvements and objects added. Airport views are from the roof of the new control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation.

| V-One Gauge for B707-300 with Call-Outs |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This gauge is written specifically for Captain Sim's B707-300 aircraft (http://www.captainsim.com/products/x707/). It will inform you of appropriate take-off speeds (V-speeds), take-off trim units, Vref landing speeds, elapsed flight time, fuel used, optimum cruise altitude and optimum EPR setting. It will also indicate when the aircraft's max gross weight and TOW has been exceeded by displaying in red text. Take-off speeds are adjusted for altitude and temperature values. Flight time and fuel used can be reset at any time by clicking on their respective displays. Pounds (LB), Kilograms (KG), Celsius (C) and Fahrenheit (F) are toggled by a mouse click. Provisions have been made to allow user adjustments to Optimum Altitude, Optimum EPR and Center of Gravity values. Seven F/O take-off call-outs are included: 80 knots, V1, VR, V2, Gear-up, Flaps-up and Slats Retract.

File Description:
Greece has 15 CH-47D. The 9 of them are upgraded CH-47C to CH-47DG in 1995. The other 6 are CH-47SD. In 1980 Greece ordered 10 CH-47C Chinook. The first arrived in Greece in 1983. The first Greek Chinooks formally were belonged to Iran but after the fallen of Shahs, they were given to Greece. In 1984 took place the first accident of the Greek Chinooks when the ÅÓ-006 had a heavy landing in Samos Island, during the transportation of a radar. After that the 006 was used as a source. The other 9 in the period of 1992-1994 were upgraded to D (Super D). After the Imia night, the Greek Government wanted to order 11 Chinooks helicopter, 9 SD and 2 SD for the Special Forces. Later 7 Chinooks were ordered. They have analogue cockpit and not glass cockpit in order to be same with the old DG. Also they have the better engine T55-L714A (4.868hp). This Chinook package is only for the FSX, but in case you want to fly it on your FS2004,then the majority of the Gauges will not be appeared. The package is complete. Features: model, Virtual Cockpit, new Panel, Sounds, rework Flight Dynamics, two Textures olive green and a dessert camo. The Original Model belongs to Mark Adams & Tom Woods, the reworked Flight Dynamics to Marwan Latif. | LFMQ - Le Castellet |
|
File Description:
Welcome to Le Castellet Airfield -
This airfield is situated few Nm east of Marseille Provence - LFML, in the south of France. On the 1,000 hectares of plateau he acquired between Marseille and Toulon, Paul Ricard, forever motivated by innovation and development, constructed in 1962 the largest
private airfield in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
The landing strip at Le Castellet covered a distance of 1,000 metres and allowed for VFR (Visual Flight Rules) operation. Situated on a plateau at the time free of all economic development, it was above all a private airfield. In 1970, the construction
of the Paul Ricard Circuit nearby created an economic dynamic for the first time on Le Castellet plateau. In 1972, Paul Ricard invested in improvements to the runway, lengthening it from 1,000 to 1,750 metres, thus rendering it capable of
receiving business and private airplanes of up to 38 tonnes.
Over twenty years, Le Castellet Airport saw intense periods of activity due to business and private aviation, notably with the arrival of the first F1 French Grand Prix on the Paul Ricard Circuit in 1971, and more recently, with the creation of the Entreprise Zone at Signes, situated only a few kilometres from the airfield. Stop by for an amazing visit at the medieval village as well, situatued on top of a hill.
Nevertheless, from 1972 to 1999, no investment was made at the airfield. In May 1999, the company Excelis S.A. purchased the site (airfield and circuit) and refurbished and modernised the installations.
A truly amazing place to fly to - I have enhanced the entire apron as it is today, all marking correctly set, acces to runway and the Heli area for the "Eggbeater" fan :)
includes the hangar, building and other things around. Hope you'll enjoy your stay at "Le castellet"!
