FSX Planes With New Lights for p3d

File Description:
Multiple FSX planes, DH_Dash8_100, Airbus A_321, B747_400, Beech Baron_58, Beech_king_air_350, Lear45, Mooney_Bravo and the p3d Bombardier_CRJ_700 made flyable. I have modified the models for all of these aircraft with improved landing/taxi lights for use under p3d, which illuminate the ground in front of you so you can see wehre you are going. Most of the planes now have separate taxi/landing lights controlled by the taxi/landing lights switch. I have also added a logo light to most. For the 747_400 you should update you interior virtual cockpit model with the one from FSND at http://simviation.com//fsnd/menu.html. I have included a text file with each plane explaining how to install

File Description:
FSX FCB9o8 is an easy to fly aircraft. The only controls that are needed are the four arrow keys on the keyboard. This plane is highly automated. It has assisted takeoff and landing in normal mode. In autopilot mode, it can complete a whole trip without pilot intervention. The Autoland is capable of landing the aircraft on any runway in both good and bad weather. This is version 1.2. Grumman Albatross version 2.1 FDE Landing Lights

File Description:
Grumman HU-16 Albatross 2.1 Greg Pepper, Michael Verlin revised FDE with landing lights This package contains revised aircraft.cfg and air files. I've modified the contact points for the hull and nose gear and retractable landing lights The contact points for the landing lights were omitted in previous uploads. The lights are tied to the water rudder (Shift+W). It has been 5 years since version 2.0 was released. Fortunately, I kept copies of my correspondence with Greg Pepper, which had the information for the missing contact points. They are now included. My apologies for the error. This should finish matters for version 2.1 Instructions unzip this file into the Grumman Albatross G64 section of your FS9 Aircraft folder. overwrite the existing aircraft.cfg and HU16.air files with the files in this package. Mount Pleasant Landing Strip Airport (67NJ), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles S of Hainesburg, New Jersey on 192 acres of land, Mount Pleasant Landing Strip Airport is a private turf field. The strip itself is 2100 feet in length over fairly level ground. There is no hard-surfaced grass runway in place, so setting your mesh to the highest resolution is recommended as you will be landing on bare terrain. Next to Runway 06 is a path through the trees you can taxi along to get to a hangar - although it is not available for transient aircraft and is closed. Collision with the trees along the path near the hangar and the static aircraft parked near it is disabled to make it easier to move through this relatively tight area. Immediately beyond the hangar is a clearing with ample room to turn around to taxi back out. You can also start parked in front of the hangar. The windsock is located a few feet west of the hangar and is not lit. The runway also has no edge lighting so daytime VFR operations only are recommended for this airfield. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 007. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

File Description:
Added aprons and buildings. Also added ILS/DME for Runway 5. Created with Airport Design Editor by ScruffyDuck Software using current FAA documentation and Google Earth measurements, this package offers a replacement for FSX's stock airport. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects.

Nick's Space Shuttle Landing Challenge FINAL RELEASE

File Description:
Featuring the Space Shuttle Discovery and celebrating NASA's return to space! This package contains the most up to date version of my Space Shuttle Landing Challenge (v1.2). I am providing it as a FINAL single installation package to eliminate the need for multiple update files. This package includes the Space Shuttle Discovery redesigned using actual NASA-Boeing mechanical/aeronautical engineering data, a panel, sounds and shuttle landing FX. The space shuttle in the sim (like the real shuttle) has the ability to water 'ditch' and belly land in an emergency or if improperly landed on the suspension system. You can select the sensitivity of the main landing gear struts (less crashes) for those who are novice to flying critical tolerances. This package includes a CHALLENGE FLIGHT ADVENTURE PACKAGE and features a reference list of the flights along with approach/landing procedure tips to the kneeboard (F-10) for you to refer to while in flight. The adventure pack will provide a set of 11 challenge flights spanning the globe for the space shuttle re-entry simulation. A Bonus PACK of CrashBar effects including smoke, fire, explosions and other nasty reminders of landing mistakes is included as an optional installation. The original .mdl file is by Matthew Moxon and a modified for FS9 panel byTom Kellner.
