EDAM Zweibrucken Air Base, Zweibrucken, Germany ***FIX*** Download

File Description:
A patch to update the Zweibrucken AB scenery by Brian Clarke. Unfortunately, the Air Traffic frequencies were not allocated in the first release. This patch remedies that situation and adds Tower, Ground and Approach frequencies.

BAe Dunsfold Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Opened as a fighter station for the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War 2, Dunsfold was eventually taken over by Hawker aircraft for developement of the Hunter aircraft. It also provided refurbishment for F-86 Sabres, Sea Hawks and Sea Furies. In 1960, it began developement and testing of the P.1127 - the prototype that led to the Harrier.
It was here that Harrier and Hawk aircraft were finally put together from parts that came from all over the country. Hawk final assembly moved to Warton in 1988, and the final Sea Harrier construction ended in 1998. BAe Systems sold the site in 2002, and it is now well-known as the test track for the BBC TV series Top Gear.

The scenery has been constructed using objects mainly from MAIW sceneries, which will need to be installed in order to gain the full visual experience.

RAF Northolt Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This station is home to No.32 (The Royal) Squadron, flying BAe 125's, BAe 146's Islanders and Squirrel helicopters. It is the main gateway for officials and high-ranking officers of foreign governments and also for emergency and diplomatically sensitive flights. There is also a static Spitfire gate guardian, many thanks to John Young for allowing us to use his model. Scenery is made up from several object libraries, details can be found in the readme.

RAF Alconbury Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Scenery for RAF Alconbury. The last flying units to be based here were the A-10A's of the 10th Tactical Fighter Wing and the TR-1's of the 95th Recon Squadron. Alconbury was opened by the RAF in 1938, and taken over by the USAAF in 1942. It is one of two bases that have been continually in U.S. service since World War 2. There are two options for parking setups in this scenery - it is defaulted to A-10 operations, but you can swap out files to house the RF-4's of the 10th TRW and F-5E's of the 527th TFTAS; the Phantoms are available but there are no F-5 paints available yet. Scenery is made up from several object libraries, details can be found in the readme.

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Textures for the NBAI Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4/T3 of No 1(F) Sqn and No 6 Sqn, both based at RAF Leuchars in Scotland. You will need to download MAIW Coningsby v2 to get the proper model for these paints. Also included is a set of flightplans, and I can highly recommend the UKMIL RAF Leuchars scenery (rafleu.zip @ flightsim.com).

RAF Wittering 1990 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Wittering was opened as an RAF station in 1924, but flying here started way back in 1916 with the Royal Flying Corps.
Initially the Central Flying School was based here from 1926 until 1935. During World War 2, Wittering was a part of 12 Group, which was responsible for the defence of the Midlands. The station took on a nuclear responsibility in 1956 with the arrival of the V-Force Valiants, and later Victor bombers. Because of this, the runway was increased in length. After the V-Bombers left, the station took on the mantle of Home of the Harrier, a title it carried with it from 1969, until the stations closure in 2010.

This scenery is made up of various library objects, using ScruffyDuck's ADE9X, to make a close representation of the base, as opposed to being factually accurate. Brian has incorporated most of the extra runways and representations of deck landing areas that were used at Wittering for V/STOL training - these runways are not active, but may still obviously be used for taking off and landing yourself. Also included are repaints of John Young's Harrier GR3/T4 AI model, available from flightsim.com. These represent the aircraft of No.1(F) Squadron and No.233 OCU, during 1989-90. There are also a set of representative flightplans to allow the Harriers to fly "typical" missions and flights.

RAF Greenham Common Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
FS2004 scenery for RAF Greenham Common by Brian Clarke. The scenery uses objects from various scenery libraries, listed in the readme. I have also included some flightplans for C-130's, C-5's and C-141's to fly in and out of the base. These will also require separate downloads. RAF Greenham Common is a former Royal Air Force station in Berkshire, England. The airfield is located to the south-east of Newbury, Berkshire, about 50 miles (80 km) west of London. Opened in 1942, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War and the United States Air Force during the Cold War. After the Cold War ended, it was closed in 1993. The airfield was also known for the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp held outside its gates in the 1980s. In 1997 Greenham Common was designated as public parkland.
