| Talkeetna Village AK44 in Alaska, REVISED |

File Description:
The town of Talkeetna is around 75 miles north of Anchorage in Alaska, on the east shore of the Susitna River where the Susitna, Talkeetna, and Chulitna rivers join. The town is where Don Sheldon started Talkeetna Air Services. His story is told in "Wager With The Wind" by James Greinar and is well worth reading for the descriptions of mountain flying. There are two airfields at Talkeetna, PATK with its long asphalt runway and Talkeetna Village AK44 in the town. This is AK44; measuring the space left for the runway between the river bank in the south and the curve in the road that marks the north end of the field there is just enough space for the 900 feet of runway that is described in the book. The result is a step back in time to 1973, when the second hangar was built. Neither hangar has survived to today.

File Description:
The nose gun is now tied to the stick movement same as the rest of the new SA-43's.Panel from a Chuck Dome original.This one is in the markings of Cmdr. Cal Groom, VF-84 'Jolly rogers'. This was done at the request of a SAAB and USN fan. Sound from the default Learjet but sound pack recommendations in the readme file. Original MDL and Air file by M. D. Anderle from his X-32. Model created by Ian Lawrence.
The weapons package is a mixed task of air to air and air to ground, consisting of :
2 AGM-113 Ranger long range attack missiles with standoff capability and onboard electronic and visual IFF equipment capable of autonomus attack profile and target selection and armed with a high yield blast warhead.
In addition it carries 4 AAM-9X Sidewinder 4 misssiles against aerial targets.

File Description:
Airport YBNS Bairnsdale is a regional airport in Victoria Australia. NOTE This is an update in that it includes some textures missing in the original. It has 2 runways a long 1101m sealed and lit 04/22 and a 850m sealed 13/31 There is a gocart track and a disused drag strip next to the airport. There is a thriving aero club and training for light aircraft and helicopters. These files are for Flight Simulator X. Made using Airport Design Editor using some objects borrowed from Robert Budd's excellent Baccus Marsh. The standard airport bears only a passing resemblance to the real thing so this scenery is a big improvement and accurately reproduces real world. RECOMMENDED The scenery is designed to interface with ORBX FTX_AU scenery for Australia (payware). It will work without ORBX but will not interface as well with standard scenery.

Fuerza Aerea Paraguaya C-47A-65-DL FAP-2004,C/N 19001 builded by the Long Beach City production plant for the USAAF as 42-100538.This plane has suffered a early accident over the Lake Michigan in his training phase;deployed in England with the 80th Airborne Troop Carrier,participed in Normandy,Arhem and Bastogne operations.With the Fuerza Aerea Paraguaya first as T-41 and then 2004.FAP-2004 was one of the four C-47A operated by the FAP;most of the models deployed with the Fuerza Aerea Paraguaya
were types C-47B.The base textures for repainting are by Mark Beaumont, original textures are by Jan Visser.Repainted by Daniel Nole.In order to use these textures, you must already have the MAAM-SIM payware DC3 and the MAAM-SIM D-Day C-47 'Skytrain'and Dakota Mk III Expansion Pack installed in your FS2004 aircraft folder.

| PABV - Birchwood airfield - Anchorage, Alaska - USA |

File Description:
Birchwood PABV is in Alaska, some 20 miles northeast of Anchorage, on the south shore of Knik Arm. It is a smaller version of Merrill Field, almost entirely for just GA aircraft and the maintenance shops that a gathering of such aircraft attracts. The main runway is just over 4,000 feet long, aligned L01-R19 and asphalted and lit; this last is even more important in Alaska with short winter days. There is also a shorter and parallel runway that is gravel and which receives no winter maintenance; this is for winter use by planes that are on skis, rather than wheel/skis. This is not unusual and is found at other Alaska airfields. This scenery provides a place to fly to from my previous posts of Merrill Field and Lake Hood close to Anchorage. There will be others in this series, on the northern side of Knik Arm.

File Description:
Another airfield close to Highway 11, further south towards Lake Simcoe. Snowden Farm is a bit over five miles south of Huntsville and east of of highway 11. The grass runway 12/30 is just over 2,000 feel long and sandwiched between Penfold Lake to the north, and on the south side a large pond with a creek that connects to the much larger Mary Lake to the east. There is a hangar and a shed at the eastern end of the runway. There is one airfield scenery file, and two landclass files to provide the grassed area and the large pond and creek. I presume that the pond was just a little too small to register with Ultimate Terrain. The scenery might work without Ultimate Terrain but I haven't tested it, and for sure without it Penfold Lake and probably Mary Lake won't appear.

| Repost of Dryden Regional CYHD in Ontario Canada |

File Description:
This repost is first to deal with some lighting problems on the runways (though I still couldn't get rid of the taxiway lights that head off across the grass) and also to provide the right AFCAD file.
Dryden is in northwest Ontario on the shore of Wabigoon Lake. The airfield is some five miles northeast of the town. It has two runways, one 2,000 feet long and sand, the other 11/29 and 6,000 feet of asphalt 150 feet wide. There is a terminal building, a hangar for Thunder Airlines, and some GA hangars at and near the western apron, and in the Summer there is a flock of fire-fighting Canadair CL415 amphibs at the eastern apron together with the Ministry of Natural Resources Ontario fire fighting headquarters establishment, accomodation, and maintenance facilities. Among others Bearskin Airlines fly there, a wonderful punning name.

| SATSair Complete Package Summer 2008 |

File Description:
This package includes representative flightplans for SATSair (Smart Air Travel Systems) drawn from flightaware and a texture for Mike Cronin's AI SR22 (available on AVSIM). SATSair is an air taxi system in the southeast US using 22 Cirrus SR-22s for on demand air travel.
From their website: "SATSair offers regional point-to-point air transportation that is safe, convenient and cost effective. Aircraft are pre-positioned strategically throughout the service area, allowing customers to board a SATSair aircraft and depart with little notice. SATSair eliminates the frustrations of crowded airline terminals, long security lines and lengthy connections. In addition, SATSair utilizes numerous airports that the airlines don't, making it exceptionally convenient for rural destinations and multiple-stop itineraries."
These plans may be installed using MRAI setup, or manually using Lee Swordy's TTools. As part of my continuing effort to expand the AI world, here you go!

File Description:
Flagship Isle of Skye was the first of an order for three new BAC One-Eleven 509EW to be delivered in March/April 1969. The three aircraft, joined a year later by a fourth, spent only eighteen months as a small fleet before Caledonian became Britains second force airline overnight. In October 1970 Caledonian took control of the main operation of British United. Renamed Caledonian//BUA the four One-Elevens were joined by the ex BUA One-Eleven 200's and 500 machines supplimented by four VC 10's joining Caledonians fleet of Boeing 707's on long range routes. After a couple of years the airline took up the name British Caledonian. The original Caledonian One-Eleven fleet were sold off in the mid seventies, this one going to Dan Air in October 1975.
