File Description:
Maya-Maya Airport (IATA: BZV, ICAO: FCBB) is an airport located in Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of the Congo. In 2004, the airport served 447,699 passengers. In 2010, a new runway 3300m long (05L/23R) and a new terminal, with 3 air bridges was opened. The older runway (05R/23L) was repaired and now is used as a taxiway. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Spitfire in the colors of Spitfire Mk Vc AR556 which flew with 1435 Squadron from Malta. It was one of the few Spitfires that was flown directly from Gibraltar to Malta, and also one of the few Spitfires on the island without the tropical filter below the nose. It seems to have been painted in one single color on top, interpreted by Brian Cauchi as PRU blue. Th eaircraft was lost on 18 march 1943. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

This folder contains a repaint for the Consolidated B-24J by Flight Replicas, adapted for use in P3Dv5. It shows B-24J-210-C0 44-41354" #354 "Louise Mary", which flew with the 372nd BS/ 307th BG, based at Kornasoren Airfield, Noemfoor Island, Schouten Islands, Indonesia in November 1944. The noseart was painted by pfc Joe Origlio, based on a Mutoscope Card by Gil Elvgren. After suffering severe damage, this aircraft was scrapped in the Philippines in 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

This folder contains a repaint for the Grumman G44A Widgeon by Flysimware. It shows Grumman G-44A Widgeon #1362, originally J4F-2 #37732. It first flew as N9236H with Western newspapers United, before going to Amphibian Airways of new Zealand, becoming ZK-BAY. It was mainly used for flights from Invercargill to Stewart Island. It was taken over by Tourist Air Travel in Auckland in 1961, and continued with Mount Cook Airlines in 1968, before crashing and sinking in Auckland Harbor in 1970. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

File Description:
This is a De Havilland Canada Dash8 Q100 model by DREAMWINGS repainted in the Olympic Airlines colours by John Orfanos ([email protected]). Its Registration Number is SX-BIO and is named "Katerina Thanou" after the greek female sprinter (100m) and olympic gold medalist. During ATHENS 2004 olympic games the particular aircraft was repainted in Olympic Airlines ATHENS 2004 colour scheme as well as the "Kostas Kenteris". It is mainly used in Short-range distances and inter-island connections. 32-bit textures, no mip-mapping, dirty look makes the model - (included) - very realistic.

VH-SLM belongs to the Rockhampton Aero Club based in, of all places, Rockhampton, Queensland! Who'dda' believed it? It wouldn't surprise me to find out it paid for it's keep by ferrying holiday makers to Marble Island. Look it up, it looks fabulous!
Built in 1969, she was first registered in Australia in 1980. I think The Rockhampton Aero Club obtained it in 2005 and freshened up the paintwork. What I do know is that you need to have a paid for copy of Flight1's BN-2 Islander for the engines to work!

In the 1970's Aer Arann began flying as an island-hopping service from Galway to the Aran Islands. Then in 1994 Aer Arann was purchased by Padraig O'Ceidigh who transformed the airline into the popular regional airline it is now. Currently serving 17 destinations both within Ireland and the UK, using their fleet of modern ATR-42-300 and ATR-72-200 aircraft, Aer Arann plan to expand from March next year and will be adding flights to Lorient in France. These flightplans are valid until 25th March 2006.
