Eurofighter is a single-seat, twin-engine, agile combat aircraft which will be used in the air-to-air, air-to-ground and tactical reconnaissance roles. The design of Eurofighter Typhoon is optimised for air dominance performance with high instantaneous and sustained turn rates, and specific excess power. Special emphasis has been placed on low wing loading, high thrust to weight ratio, excellent all round vision and carefree handling. The use of Stealth technology is incorporated throughout the aircraft's basic design. The new AFS - Eurofighter has flightdynamics of real Eurofighter. | Tillsonburg CNQ4 in Ontario Canada REPLACEMENT |

File Description:
This is a replacement (though complete in itself) for my original Tillsonburg post with the corrected office building included. Tillsonburg is a small town in southwest Ontario, mid way between Toronto, Buffalo, and Detroit. The airfield is some four miles north of the town. It was originally built by the RCAF as an emergency grass field to support flying training in WW2. It now has two grass runways, each 2,400 feet long, and another 4,000 feet long that is asphalt. There is a company that carries out painting and ulholstery work, a flight school, and of course the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association, which is a volunteer organisation that does what the title suggests and takes care of Harvards, I think six of them plus a Tiger Moth, and something else. And when I was there two years ago and in the winter there was a licensed AME just starting up.

| Emsdale CNA4 & Emsdale South fields in Ontario, Canada |

File Description:
Emsdale is on Hwy 11 about midway between North Bay and Lake Simcoe. A mile north of the town is Emsdale airfield CNA4, with two grass runways that are 12/30 2,500 feet long, and 17/35 2,000 feet long. There is only one hangar, no fuel, and in general there does not appear to be a lot of action. "Grass" may be a generous description of the runway surface, particularly for 12/30.
The second field is two miles southwest of Emsdale and privately owned. It has 2,700 feet or so of asphalt runway and a parallel grass runway (which is short at under 800 feet, plus a hangar at the north end!). There are six buildings, between hangars and office or club house and that about sums up all I know about it. If anyone knows more about this field please let me know.

The A350 XWB (Xtra Wide-Body) is Airbus response to market demand for a medium capacity long range wide-body family. Designed with airlines priorities in mind, the A350 XWB confronts the challenges of high fuel prices, rising passenger expectations and increasing environmental concerns.
Available from 2013, it has an entirely new, uncompromised, 21st Century design with a wider and taller fuselage for extra space and passenger comfort. A complete family of airliners sized to generate cost reductions and provide unprecedented operating flexibility for airlines; three basic passenger versions are being offered. With a range of up to 8,300nm/15,380km they include the A350-800 for 270 passengers in a spacious three-class configuration; the A350-900 for 314 passengers and the A350 - 1000 seating 350 passengers. An ultra long - range version, the A350 - 900R, will fly even further while a freighter version, the A350 - 900F, will complement the passenger models.

| Bar River CPF2 in Ontario, Canada |

File Description:
Bar River is an airfield in Ontario, some 20 miles east of Sault Ste Marie. It is owned and operated by Springer Aerospace, an aircraft maintenance company. They specialise in turboprop aircraft and carry out work for several northern airlines plus private owners; they also have a paintshop and have painted planes for a number of airlines including Air Canada. There used to be two runways but one is now only a taxiway and the one remaining is aligned 36-18 and 4,415 feet long. Adjacent to this runway is "the ditch", a 2,000 feet long water runway; there is no way put of the ditch except by fork lift or by take off. In the winter a number of float planes are stored on the airfield for maintenance until the flying season opens again. There are no runway or taxiway lights, and no signage. There is a windsock.

| Fort Liard CYJF in the Northwest Territories, Canada |

Fort Liard is the seventh in a series of airfields that follow (approximately) the Mackenzie River. At the far northern end of the river there is Tuktoyaktuk, then Inuvik, Fort McPherson, Fort Good Hope, Deline, Wrigley, and then Fort Simpson Island and Fort Simpson, all posted. Fort Liard is at 708 feet asl and on the east bank of the the Liard River, around 130 miles south of Fort Simpson where the Liard and Mackenzie join, and about 25 miles from the borders with both British Columbia and the Yukon. The town has a population of about 560 folks.
The airport is next to the town, and has almost 3,000 feet of gravel runway. I have no information regarding when it was built but it may be from the WW2 time; the cleared and grassed area is long enough for a runway 0f 6,000 feet. There are no scheduled flights but North Cariboo Air have a base at the airport for local charters to support survey teams etc. and are almost an on-demand-scheduled airline. I have also added a Buffalo DC3 and GA. There is fuel available, but only by prior arrangement with North Cariboo. Right hand circuits for runway 20.

This is Matsakoni Airlines Virtual MAV(www.matsakoni.gr) fictional texture for the eurowings pro BAe146-300 addon. Based on standard colours of MAV aircrafts. Matsakoni Airlines was founded in early 2002 and its HQ¢s is based on Ioannis Kapodistrias Int airport (LGKR), Corfu island. Affiliates and hubs on other major Greek and European cities are planned for the fiscal year 2008. Eletherios Venizelos Athinai Int airport (LGAV) is MAV's hub since Aug'07. London Stansted (EGSS) is our new Hub in the U.K. A classic virtual operator connecting the Greek islands to major European and over Atlantic cities on a daily base with scheduled and non-scheduled flights.
