Flight Simulator First Officer V2.2 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Flight Simulator First Officer is a generic virtual copilot for FSX and FS9. The primary function of FSFO is to assist the Pilot In Command (PIC) to fly the aircraft safely while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This is accomplished via virtual checklist and sharing of cockpit duties/responsibilities. Specifically, the First Officer reads the following configurable checklist: Before Start, After Start, Before Takeoff, In-Range, After Landing and Shutdown. After reading the checklist items, the Copilot will wait to ensure you (i.e. the pilot) have configured the aircraft correctly before proceeding to the next item. Also, the Virtual copilot is capable of performing the following actions: Call Vspeeds based on your input, Raise the Landing Gear on Takeoff, Retract the Flaps, Manage the taxi/landing lights, Land the Aircraft, Tune the ILS frequencies, Call Climb Power based on your input, Reset Vertical Speed when the Aircraft is within 1000 ft of the programmed altitude, IAS warning (e.g. Aircraft is above 250 IAS while below 10000 ft), GS Warnings (e.g. Aircraft is above 25 knots while taxing), Resets the altimeter to standards when passing TA, Engage Heading Hold on Takeoff, Engage Altitude Hold on Takeoff, Reset Speed on Takeoff, Engage Speed Hold on Takeoff, Engages Rev Thrust on Landing, Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) and much more... File Description:
Sky Pirates Medium Vanship by Mellin - Version 1.0.0

If you are interested with updates check: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=D237841111C490A2!2055&authkey=!ALJGm8kyIEpPWOc&ithint=folder%2ctxt

Vanships come from "Last Exile" and "Last Exile: Silver Wing Fam" animes. Sky Pirate Medium Vanships are a type of vanship which appear in Last Exile - Fam, The Silver Wing. In addition to Vespas, the Sky Pirates use a special type of vanship with an unusually broad and flat body. They resemble a rectangular wing with the cockpit in the center and two engines, one on each side. These ships are sometimes armed with harpoons to be used in capturing larger vessels. Because of their broad wings, they are capable of carrying up to six harpoons while Vespas can carry only two. It should be noted that each of these six however are about the size of a vespa. Their true amount of payload can be seen during the attack on Boraeas fortress, where Fam and Giselle's Vespa only mounts two rockets, each of these ships is seen carrying entire racks of them, with one being seen with 12 rocket pods slung under each wing, in formation with Fam's group shortly before they come under heavy fire. Those Vanships have 2 fuel tanks inside their wings and a big cargo bay in a middle of there body. They also have a observer's spot under main body in the front. It is equipped with periscope/binoculars.

More information about Vanships can be found on Last Exile wiki: http://lastexile.wikia.com/wiki/Vanship

FSX/P3D Aloha Airlines DC-3 circa 1958 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Aloha Airlines colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Aloha was founded in 1946 under the name of Trans Pacific Airways. With a single DC-3, they offered passenger charter and cargo services between the islands of Oahu, Maui and Hawaii. On February 11 1949 they officially became a scheduled service airline. Their main rival was Hawaiian Airlines, and in 1957 they changed their name to Aloha Airline to better compete against Hawaiian. In 1959 a modern F-27 joined the fleet, which forced the retirement of Aloha's aging DC-3 fleet by the mid 1960s. They also introduced the Viscount 745D in June 1961. BAC-111s were acquired in 1966. However, the British made airliners had limitations in the very humid environment of Hawaii, and in 1967 Aloha ordered 2 Boeing 737-200s with a further 6 in 1968 to replace the BAC-111s. The 737s were destined to become the workhorse of the airline, with over 60 being used by Aloha over the years. Their iconic "Flower Power" livery was unveiled in 1969, and was reintroduced in 2006 on one of their 737 as a retro livery. Due to heavy financial problems caused by various factors, Aloha unfortunately ceased operations on March 31 2008. This DC-3, N2804D, was leased by Aloha in the late 1950s. Textures are DDS DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

Boeing B-17G 91st BG (LG-P) "Sweet Dish" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G 44-6596 LG-P "Sweet Dish" of the 322nd BS/ 91st BG based in Bassingbourne UK. She arrived in Bassingbourne on the 4th of November 1944 and flew her first mission 5 days later, after which she was assigned to Lt Bob Roach and his crew. He suggested naming her Sweet Dish, after his wife, who was known to the crew. Tony Starcer painted her portrait, based on a pocket photograph. By war's end, she would have completed 46 missions by the war's end, including 24 flown by BoB Roach. Her hairiest mission was to Berlin on 5 december. Flak knocked out no.1 engine and set fire to no.2. During the dive to eliminate the fire, the engineer bailed out, and the navigator and bomb aimer followed him. The fire was extinguished however, and 'Sweet Dish' flew home on two engines. They counted 365 holes in the ship next day, and it took until the end of december to get her in the air again. At the end of the war, she took a group of ground crew on a flight over the damaged cities of Germany, so that they too could see the effect of their work, and in may she helped repatriate released PoW's. In june 1945, she flew back to the States, where she was scrapped at Kingman, Arizona in december 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

Douglas C-47 (X-1) Dutch Air Force Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for P3Dv4.5 PBR version of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of X-1 of the Dutch Air Force. The Dutch Air Force received her first Dakota's in 1952, although they owned one in 1946, but that crashed near Katwijk the same year and was destroyed. That one carried the registration X-1, but that is not the subject of my paint... The Air Force later leased one C-47 from the KLM, gave it the military registration X-2, but it kept its civil registration, PH-TBV, on the tail. Later they leased a few more, and clearly they liked them, because they bought a few more in 1952. The first one was taken on charge in 1952 and was numbered X-1 as depicted in this repaint. The makers badge with its construction number was missing however, and nobody seems to know where this aircraft came from. The logbook mentions the aircraft was 'found'. There was a rumour that the aircraft had been used by refugees from the east and landed at Valkenburg airfield without registration. About a year later, the aircraft made an emergency landing near Valkenburg after taking off for a relief flight for the flooded areas in the south of the Netherlands on 6 februari 1953 and was written off. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 for P3Dv4.5, with PBR, Rivet and bump detail by Ted (Tufun) Wolfgang."

Drivable and Flyable Grey Van Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The Drivable and Flyable Grey Van is derived from a stationary Euro Van model by the following modifications / additions: -land-vehicle instrument panel -sound files -FSX effects and custom exhaust smoke effects files -modified .CFG and .AIR files The vehicle is powered by a single aircraft piston engine with modified flaps to serve as a gear-shift. High gear allows the vehicle to speed up to 70 Kt on wide highways, while the low gear restricts the speed to about 12 Kt, but enables the vehicle to ascend steep slopes for exploring terrain scenery. At speeds around 65-70 Kt (in gear 4), pulling back on the yoke will allow the vehicle to take off and fly at level-flight speeds around 70 Kt. This is an interesting way to go island-hopping, overcome insurmountable terrain obstacles, or cover larger straight-line distances without using the slew mode. An autopilot with hold altitude and hold heading options is operable during flight only. All dashboard instruments are fully functional, including the Radio-Magnetic Indicator (RMI) during flight. Needles 1 and 2 are activated if correct frequencies are entered in the ADF and VOR radios. The vehicle has lights which are toggled by pressing [L]. Lights are associated with a very thin exhaust smoke effect. Thick exhaust smoke is toggled by pressing [I]. Driving vehicles through FSX scenery in different seasons presents a whole new aspect to the simulation. It allows us to imagine discovering innumerable places on the planet which are in practice beyond our reach. I hope you enjoy!

Zion National Park North, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Cedar City (KCDC), Utah, Photo-Scenery (FS9 & FSX) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Cedar Breaks National Monument is a large amphitheater cliff in bright colors of red, orange and purple. It lies east of Cedar City in the northern region of the scenery. The cliff was formed by erosion thru wind, water and ice. Today erosion continues with a pace of about 2 inches every 5 years. Although it is called Cedar Breaks, there are no cedars growing there but juniper trees. For a scenic flight to Cedar Breaks National Monument best depart from Cedar City Regional Airport (KCDC) and head east. The scenery extends south to Zion National Park and covers a large part of Zion Canyon and the Kolob Canyons area. Zion National Park is another place where erosion of the Colorado Plateau formed the most beautiful colorful stone formations of unique and wonderful shapes. There are nine different layers of stone visible in the park. Most of them consist of sandstone. But there is also limestone, gypsum, siltstone, shale, clay and mudstone. The Virgin River cut a spectacular and famous canyon thru Zion Park that is as narrow as 20ft and up to 2000ft tall. High resolution versions of this scenery for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/CNY_South2West5.html . The screenies are taken from the high-res versions, so expect this version to be slightly more blurry. Thanks to Joop Mak for providing a custom AFCADs that correct airport layouts so that they align with the photo-textures! They are available here: www.blueskyscenery.com/AFCADs.html . YourDonation@Work: Dedicated to Richard, P.J. and Felix.
