FS9 Scenery - Livermore Municipal Airport (IATA: LVK, ICAO: KLVK) is in Livermore, California, USA, east of San Francisco Bay. The airport is three miles northwest of the downtown area. Near the 650-acre airport are the Water Reclamation Plant and the Las Positas Golf Course. There are two parallel asphalt runways. The main lighted runway is 5,250 ft long and the second runway, unlighted, built in 1985, is 2,700 ft long is used mainly for training. Besides the 2,400 sq ft Terminal building, built in 1969, there are nearly 400 aircraft storage hangar units as well as a corporate-style hangar building containing 20,000 sq ft of space along with an aircraft storage shelter. It is the world's oldest continuously operated airport. College Park Airport was established in August 1909 by the United States Army Signal Corps to serve as a training location for Wilbur Wright to instruct two military officers to fly in the government's first airplane. FSX Scenery - Monterey Regional Airport (IATA: MRY, ICAO: KMRY, FAA LID: MRY) is three miles (5 km) southeast of Monterey, in Monterey County, California, USA. It was created in 1936 and was known as the Monterey Peninsula Airport until the board of directors renamed it on September 14, 2011. The airport is owned by the several municipalities that make up the Monterey Peninsula Airport District. It is a public entity and its five-member board of directors is publicly elected. The airport has its origins with flights from the polo field of the Hotel Del Monte in 1910. In 1941, local communities formed the Monterey Peninsula Airport District and acquired land to build an airport. World War II intervened, and the U.S. Navy leased the land, opening Naval Auxiliary Air Station Monterey on May 23, 1943. The Navy remained at the airport until 1972. FS2004 Aircraft - The Sky Arrow 650 TCNS is a tandem seat aircraft designed and manufactured in Italy by Iniziative Industriali Italiane (Meteor) S.p.A., a company manufacturing gliders, airplanes and Remotely Piloted Vehicles since 1947. This version of the Sky Arrow has been designed as sport and recreational aircraft, as well as for training, research and aerial surveillance. The Sky Arrow 650 TCNS, being almost entirely made of carbon fiber in epoxy resin, features a strong composite structure and therefore has a very high strength to weight ratio. FS2004 Scenery - Half Moon Bay Airport (IATA: HAF, ICAO: KHAF, FAA LID: HAF) is a county-owned public use airport in San Mateo County, California, United States. It is located five nautical miles (9 km) northwest of the central business district of Half Moon Bay, California. The airport is on the Pacific Coast, south of San Francisco. The Half Moon Bay Airport is located approximately 20 miles south of San Francisco. It was constructed by the California State Highway Department for the U.S. Army in 1942 as an auxiliary airfield for Salinas Army Air Base. Following the end of World War II, San Mateo County acquired the airport from the Navy in 1947. located seven miles (11 km) southwest of the central business district of Norfolk and northwest of Chesapeake, both independent cities in the U.S. state of Virginia. It is privately owned by Virginia Aviation Associates, L.L.C. Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Hampton Roads Executive Airport is assigned PVG by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA (which assigned PVG to Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, China). FSX Scenery - Vista Field (IATA: VSK, FAA LID: S98) was a public use airport located in Benton County, Washington, United States. The airport was located three nautical miles (6 km) northwest of the central business district of the City of Kennewick and was owned by the Port of Kennewick. It was also known as Vista Field Airport. Several shipping carriers operated out of the airport. There had been controversy in recent years over whether or not to continue to operate the airport or to shut it down, however it was officially closed on December 31, 2013.
